Aww, I loved it!! Even though we hardly have any Urdu writers who writes fantasy, but the ones who does it, they do it so well!!
After seven years of relationship, Mehmood betrays Noorseen by marrying her sister. Her life is turned upside down, but then she meets Adham!
The world setting is done so right, the whispering forests, the gentle horses, the cozy houses, the bustling village, the gentle people and wholesome culture, everything screams a beautiful fantasy world! ( It reminded me of party in the beginning of LOTR, hah!)
The writing is gorgeous, and the dialogue is spot-on.
It's a quick read, but it's oh so sweet! It reminded me a bit of Sumaira's Borshay, which is another gem.

ایک نورسین تھی۔
ایک کے لیے وہ منظر، وہ گھڑی خواب سی تھی۔
دوسرے کے لیے ایک فریب، ایک خیال، ایک سراب۔
ایک کو سزا کے اندوہناک ہونے کا ڈر تھا تو دوسرے کو خواب سے بیدار ہو جانے کا خدشہ۔

بہت خوبصورت کہانی اور اس سے بھی زیادہ خوبصورت سبق

شروع کے کچھ صفحات پڑھ کے مجھے تھوڑی سی مایوسی ہوئی کیونکہ مجھے لگا شاید دوبارہ پڑھنے پہ وہ مزہ نہیں ملے گا جو پہلی بار میں تھا لیکن جیسے جیسے آگے پڑھتی گئی سمجھ آتا گیا کہ کیوں اتنی پسند آئی تھی مجھے یہ کہانی۔
(میں مصنفہ کی کوئی نئی تحریر ڈھونڈھ رہی تھی لیکن مجھے ملی نہیں)

Her writing style was phenomenal in both her books but in Nooreseen, it was poetic.

It is a short story of Nooreseen after her ex betrays her and the way she moves on and finds a man like Udham <3

حسنی حسین کا لکھنے کا انداز بہت خوبصورت ہے۔ لفظوں کا استعمال بے حد خوبصورتی سے کیا گیا ہے۔ ناول چھوٹا سا تھا لیکن اس میں چھپا میسج ہم تک پہنچ چکا ہے۔ اگر آپ ایک خوبصورت محبت اور اعتبار کی کہانی پڑھنا چاہتے ہیں تو یہ ناول آپ کے لیے ہے!!

THIS WAS EXCELLENT 🥹 AN INSTANT FAVOURITE!

i randomly came across this book on instagram and its name caught my attention and i’m so glad it did because i thoroughly enjoyed it. it was such a good book. i loved it.
more than the story, i loved the writing style 👏🏼 it was so beautifully written that all the scenes were playing in front of my eyes 🥺
the plot was very heartwarming too. i felt several emotions while reading it 💗 how both of them found their safe place in each other melted and won my heart 🥹

i loved everything about this book but that one scene, where the whole بستی welcomed Noorseen when they got married, was one of the most WHOLESOME SCENES I’VE READ 🥺❤️ i’m surely not forgetting this book anytime soon!!

Absolutely loved reading Noorseen by Husna Hussain! Though there are few Urdu writers who delve into fantasy, those who do excel at it.

After seven years of being together, Mehmood betrays Noorseen by marrying her sister, turning her life upside down. Just when all seems lost, she meets Udham.

The world-building is perfect. From whispering forests and gentle horses to cozy houses, bustling villages, kind-hearted people, and a wholesome culture, everything creates a beautiful fantasy world that feels so real.

The writing is gorgeous, and the dialogue is spot-on. It's a quick read but incredibly sweet.

شارٹ سٹوری تھی۔ بہت بہت اچھی لکھی ہوئی ہے۔ مصنفہ کا انداز تحریر بہت عمدہ لگا مجھے۔
ادھم بہت کیوٹ تھا 😭🎀
ساری کہانی میں ادھم کے ماضی کا ذکر تھا لیکن اس بارے میں مصنفہ نے ایک لفظ نہیں لکھا۔ یہ بات مجھے سمجھ نہیں آئی۔ جیسے تھوڑا بہت نورسین کے ماضی کے بارے میں ہمیں بتایا تھا ویسے ہی ادھم کا بھی لکھا جا سکتا تھا۔ اس بات کے علاوہ مجھے کہانی پسند آئی۔

It is 1 of 3 digest novels I've read so far & damn the words, it's so beautifully written it should a crime to write a book so painfully beautiful, its like someone has clenched your heart in a fist damn I'm in love, Adam & Noor my sweethearts, my babies my everything you guys are my Roman Empire ❤️

Just soo good.
The story line was really finee.
It was my second book by Husna Hussain and both her books were just so interesting.
And Adham is the true gentleman.
I mean.. just LOVVEEE HIMM😭🫶
And Noorseen was also cute.
I mean she did make a mistake but she was truly shameful and guilty for that.

The writing style, the scenes description everything was so mesmerizing , so aesthetic.
Ah i wish it wasn't that short i wanted to read more of Noor e seen and Adham bin Murad 🌠

I'd really like to read more of Husna Hussain's novels , she's amazing her writing style has that potential of a best selling author 👏

- a cute and very mythical vibe-d story. the theme gave me some really mystical, folklore vibes and ofc the main characters were good.
but i wont say its husna hussain’s best work - i love usri yusra far more.
maybe if the story was a bit longer & had a more realistic emotional trajectory, would have loved it more

definitely good for a one-sitting easy read!
