This memoir is a remembrance of my mother who died in 2009. Grieving the loss was difficult but it helped me become a better writer, a better mother, and a better person. There is not a day that passes that I don't think about my mom. I will miss her for as long as I live.
Alexa Rosa began her writing journey in a New York City Public School Library when she was 8 years old. She enjoys writing poetry, inspirational quotes, short stories, realistic fiction, adult fiction, and non-fiction. She currently lives in Upstate New York with her amazing son and one adorable chinchilla.
I walked through this journey with Alexa page by page. I cried, I laughed and apart of me healed a little more reading so many relatable feelings. Know you are not alone! My heart broke for you Alexa, it broke for my own pain of loosing my mom and I as I sat here reading I shook my head agreeing with you, hurting with you, smiling with you and smelling the Cafe Bustelo.
