سیاست مداران چپ گرای پاپتی که یک زمانی چریک و فرمانده بودند این ها بیشتر از بقیه حالم را به هم می زنند . بعد از اینکه دسته دسته مردم بی گناه را به کشتن دادند ، مزخرفاتی را که به اسم آرمان سیاسی به خورد عوام الناس می دادند فراموش کردند و حالا لباس نظامی چریک ها را در آورده اند و کت و شلواری شدند . دیگر از آن عدالتی که ازش دم می زدند و باهاش مردم را خر می کردند خبری نیست . فقط می خواستند حکومت را در دست بگیرند تا مملکت را غارت کنند .چقدر کثافت اند . دیگر ببین آن ابله هایی که با طناب شیادها رفتند توچاه وخودشان را به کشتن دادند چه بدبخت هایی بودند . فکرش را بکن ، ده ها هزار ابله عقلشان را دادند دست این ها و خودشان را با شور و شوق گوشت دم توپ کردند . که چی ؟ که آقایان آن قدر بخورند و بچاپند تا بشوند درست مثل همان ثروتمندانی که یک زمانی تف و لعنتشان می کردند .

it's truly revolting, moya, the only thing i feel is a tremendous revulsion; i've never seen such a bottom-dwelling race, so fawning, so happy to whore themselves out to soldiers, i've never seen anyone so possessed and criminal, with all the vocation of an assassin; it's truly revolting.
Bernhard is an author of only one voice, although channeled through different characters, a voice that’s very potent and powerful, a voice that became a style, a sticky style to whoever has a good ear, because you’re dealing with a prose that’s constructed musically from the principles of the fugue. Now I understand that with Revulsion what I did was try to rid myself of that style that was infecting me.Here the revulsion is directed not at Vienna and Austria, but at San Salvador and El Salvador.
