Meet the treacherous Alpheus in this twenty-eighth Goddess Girls adventure!
After the sneaky river god Alpheus takes a precious cup from a river nymph, it’s up to Artemis to get it back!
Artemis is back! Finally after Artemis the Loyal she gets again her own installment - nice to see again also Actaeon. This time it's crush trouble and a bit of jealousy. Will Artemis get her very first real real kiss? And the myth of Arethusa, as well as four nymphs- well researched from mythology and neatly introduced as characters. There's nice team work how Artemis would solve the trouble and it gets a neat, yet a little bit also surprising solution. I like that it's not such a stereotypical story (; This installment is a nice tale in which Artemis is in the spotlight (and these cute deer (; ) and finally gets more Artemis-Actaeon interaction (A pity, that Goddess Games couldn't include that much enough....) Yet, what I still miss is the MOA stuff - it's not so much an academy setting this time. As much I'm happy to see the GG and some past snippets again, it doesn't hit the amazing flow of the first installments. Solid and intriguing, yet not as much brilliant as my favorites. Will there any more books? Are there still myths left to be included?
