Drive Me Crazy #2

Wild for You

Rate this book
Last night I was getting railed by Tarzan in a broom closet and today I’m stranded on a deserted island with him…

Not exactly the work trip in paradise I signed up for when I volunteered to repair his image.

Who knew last night’s wild, closet-bang would turn out to be my famous Youtube survivalist client, Wombat Willy?

And the pilot who just crashed our plane…

Okay, not my proudest professional moment, but desperation makes you do crazy things, right?

So while I’m freaking out about actual predators trying to kill me and mourning the loss of my cell phone… he thinks this is a great opportunity to film content.

I don’t know if this island is big enough for my salty attitude and his annoyingly sunny disposition and as much as I hate to admit it, I need him if I want any chance of surviving…

Wild For you is a spicy romantic comedy that has a blend of Castaway vibes and a little Bear Grylls energy, with a scorching romance thrown in the mix.

• Reverse Grumpy x Sunshine
• Stranded/Forced Proximity
• Opposites Attract
• He Falls First
• Exquisite Banter

It’s book 2 in the Drive Me Crazy series but can be read as a stand-alone.

It's a well-executed romcom about a couple who gets stranded on an island. Of course, I love it.

The only con for me was the last 10-20℅ of the book, a bit dramatic. I know the book needed that but just in comparison to the rest of the book, it was quite basic.

Okay, y’all.. I’ve yet to find another author that can make me laugh my ass off, swoon, dislike, love… have literally every emotion.. quite like Jerè!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘇𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲?”

Giving off Tarzan/Jane and castaway vibes, this book is full of hilarious, light hearted moments, showing their will to survive while also giving the perfect amount of sexual tension, chemistry and swoon worthy moments.

After they wind up heading to Costa Rica together, Gwen and Jack are soon thrown into survival mode, being stranded on an island.

“𝗜 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 “𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘆” 𝗯𝘆 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗸. 𝗠𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁-𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵.” 😭🥹

Not only does Jack help Gwen overcome so much, he’s protective and his survivalist persona is hot but he’s also a bit of a romantic.🥹 Gwen is a spitfire.. feisty and stubborn as hell but she opens her heart to Jack.. eventually. The banter between these two is perfection. They are raw, REAL and all the things I love in a pair.

I don’t want to give too much of their story away but this was a perfect palate cleanser read. I flew through this book and highly recommend!

I really read this book in 3.5 hours, in one sitting, at 12am, because I couldn't bear to put it down! These characters are wonderful - Gwen's backstory tugged at all the heartstrings on my own past and the Survivor-like adventure of this book added so much that I HAD to keep going!

If you like the "late night at the inn, only one bed trope" try this because it's basically the same thing except on a deserted island in the middle of who-knows-where and the grumpy/sunshine aspect gets me every time. You will LOVE the combos of these tropes in this novel. Plus, the twists and turns of the plot were perfect for keeping you interested but not too crazy where it felt unbelievable! I totally got my HEA and with the perfect amount of emotional turmoil to go with it.

Overall, I'd recommend both of Jeré's books but this one *might* be my favorite -- Gwen's take-no-shit attitude is totally my preferred vibe for FMC!

"Wild For You" was funny, lovable, and had some fantastic character development! I had so many parts where I found myself smiling and laughing out loud, especially during the shark scene! Jack's half-full look at everything is so endearing, even if Gwen doesn't think so! I love how these two characters couldn't be more different, and yet their sexual chemistry is HOT HOT HOT! This is my second book to read by the author, Jere' Anthony, and I absolutely loved it! I love a story that can have me hating a character in the beginning, and rooting for them by the end. If you enjoy hot beachy scenes, great character development, and laugh-out-loud moments, READ THIS TODAY!

One of those novels that you don’t realize you’ve finished until you click to the next page and there is nothing left.

It was witty and charming and just enough nonsensical to make it a true vacation from everyday life.

Now excuse me while I look up survivalist Tarzan men on YouTube to see what I’m clearly missing in my life..

She did it again! This is book 2 but it was read 3 for me. I started with pretty please me.
I will read anything this woman writes.
Gwen’s story is just as amazing and captivating as the other two. I love how protective and loving she writes the men. I always relate to the women on some level and I just love it.

Wild For You has been my favorite read since I read "Drive Me Crazy" by Jere! Her stories are an emotional roller coaster in the best way possible! You'll laugh, you'll cry, it'll be steamy, it will be serious, but most of all, they help you reflect on aspects of your own life!

Reading these stories makes me feel like I'm reading a story about my best friends. The characters are fun and the kind of people you want in your life! 10/10 would recommend Wild For You (and honestly, all of Jere's books!)

Wild for You is a romantic comedy and I enjoyed it! It contains the grumpy x sunshine trope and it revolves around love found after a wreck. I laughed lots of times and I think that it has a good romance. I wish that it was a little less predictable, but I guess that’s it’s normal in romance books.

So I read this series in reverse. (Partly because a friend recommended Pretty Please Me and then I got really curious about the deserted island story, and now here I am). There were definitely some things that would have made more sense had i read it in the right order, but it did provide one unique reading experience that I actually quite liked, which was re: his leg. I knew what was coming but now when or how so I kept jump scaring myself lol. But it worked out well. Amped up some tension for me so that worked.

Honestly, having now read all three books, Jack is EASILY my favourite character of the six friends. He is just so freakin’ loveable and really well-written. Seriously, I’m a lesbian and I kind of still wanna marry Jack.
And this being said, one of the hardest parts for me in the book (and in certain small details in the other books and their extra scenes) is how shafted this poor guy gets time and time and time again. And at times it made for good storytelling but in this book especially, being that it focused on him and Gwen, I really struggled with the fact that she was very much at fault for some of the things that happened, and yet, it was always spun to fall on this poor b**tard in the end. And I was really really hoping the grand gesture at the end of this one would be Gwen to Jack instead of vice versa. And don’t even get me started on the nurse that ‘took care’ of him after he literally had his leg amputated and then kept telling him to adjust his attitude? The guy’s been a ray of sunshine the entire novel until a life-altering event very reasonably darkens him a little, and he’s just told to suck it up. And no one defends him. Nah man, I couldn’t handle that. Plus there is no way in HELL that nurse would be allowed to keep her job. They’d have had psych consults and very understanding, gentle staff for him. Not that poor excuse for a nurse.

Now that I’m done my ranting. I actually really, really loved Gwen & Jack. Their first meeting was so funny, and reading in reverse order meant I was eagerly anticipating the moment in the first book where he called dibs on her and her reaction did NOT disappoint lol. Actually, I do think this is one place reading in the wrong order mattered most. I would have warned you to Gwen faster if I’d read the way she went at Benjamin for his treatment of Elliott first. But I did come around to her after a while, she was just a little hard at first.

I do struggle a little with the author’s pacing in all these books. It was most noticeable in Sam & Maggie’s story which was really sad ‘cause I was really excited about that one. In Wild for You, the pacing was less of a problem but still posed some issues. It just feels like the endings are a smidge rushed, and in this one in particular, Jack and Gwen’s first exchange of I love you was kinda rushed and I was super confused the first time it came up. It just felt like it should have been later.

The pacing is why I couldn’t make this five stars, and honestly, I’d have taken another star off for the weird treatment of Jack writing-wise and how the other characters sorta abused him at times and then allowed him to believe things were his fault or responsibility or he needed to suck it up was super annoying. But they were just so cute together and so funny that I just couldn’t give less than four stars.

It does really feel like this book needed a more thorough round of editing. There were a number of typos and several pacing errors/ plot issues, but overall, super cute story!

Gwen accepts to take on Youtuber Wombat Willy to spin his public disaster PR nightmare. What’s not on her to do list is them being stranded on a deserted island together when their plane crashed on their way to Costa Rica.

Give me a second here. I just finished the book and jumped right into writing this. I’m trying to contain all my emotions to write a well-articulated structured review & not have it full blast of love declaration and all over the place ramblings. AAAHHHHH who am I kidding here?! I FREAKIN’ LOOOOOVED THIS BOOK ! I AM INFATUATED  WITH GWEN.  I AM OBSESSED WITH JACK! 🚁🥥🏝👙🦈

This book was full on hilarious, laugh out in public making heads turn to look at that crazy lady, witty, fun, but also managed to have some heartwarming ,deep, romantic moments which all somehow meshed well together. Jeré’s writing style is impeccable. Reading it was smooth like butter. Like a criminal undercover. It just flows, you know. I’ll be already 40 pages ahead in a blink of eye and that’s not me being a fast reader. Makes sense? I love it when an author nails that. The narration tone of the book had this way of transporting me right there with them on the island. I could vision everything playing out right in front of me. It was like being in the scene rather than a bystander.

Tarzan/Jane vibe to the T. Authentic Survival 101 crash course. So if I ever find myself stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere, I will be all What will Jack do? I’ll survive. Will make you proud Jack.

Jack – sarcastic, easy going, fun, thrives in this element, protective, patient and caring.
Gwen - independent, feisty, strong, a wild spitfire, stubborn as a bull yet vulnerable. I just wanted to give her a hug and be like its okay. You made it. Let it go.

The banter between these two couldn’t have been better. I will not change a damn word! They were constantly bickering and I kept imagining them in my head like those one on one roosters trying to bite the other’s head off first. But Gwen’s mishaps were EPIC! I swear I was sitting shaking my head while reading about them and mumbling to myself no no Gwen no don’t do that. I’m glad to report that legit giggles broke out numerous times.

But every now and then we get to see the softer selfless protective side of Jack and his dynamics with Gwen during so were so touching and endearing. That carnal sense of protectiveness that she triggered in him and how he was always reining in his fears, tiredness, & concerns and keeping them all in check to be her solid rock. Her yin to her yang. The rational confident voice to ground her. And don’t get me started on the chemistry. Damn; Scorching hot! Heat well felt. Call the fire department people.

Glad I received this one as an ARC. Get it please; it’s out in the world today!

Jere, I solemnly swear I will be a well devoted reader from now on. Mark my words!

Happy Pub Day to @author_jere_anthony on her second novel! Wild for You follows public relation specialist & workaholic Gwen, when accepts a job in Costa Rica to help the famous survival YouTuber Wombat Willy after he lands himself in a PR nightmare. One problem: they end up in a place wreck on a deserted island.

“𝙁𝙪𝙘𝙠, 𝙂𝙬𝙚𝙣, 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙤 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩. 𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩?” 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚. “𝙄 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚, 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛,”

This is truly one of the best rom coms I have read! The Tarzan and Jane vibes were immaculate 🤌🏼 It kinda reminded me of The Unhoneymooners but more way funny and more spicy 🔥

There were so many times I was laughing my ass off at the shit these characters both said and the situations they got themselves into — the plane scene and the shark tampon scene were my favs and I’m still LOLing about it days later 🤣🤣 small spoiler: when he called her Bloody Mary I literally LOST. IT. 😆

Jere does such a great job blending funny, sexy, and sweet all in one and I think many people will find Gwen & Jack’s characters relatable. The vulnerability of each of them was so beautiful and I loved seeing their characters develop throughout the story ♥️

“𝙒𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙬, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚. 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚, 𝙄 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣.“

This is the perfect book to binge by the pool or the beach, but keep your inhaler handy because you may need it from laughing too much!

Not many books make me actually laugh out loud, but this was one of them. I stayed up too late reading because I couldn't stop laughing.
Gwen is a PR specialist looking for her next big promotion. She volunteers for a difficult assignment-- repairing YouTube sensation Wombat Willie's reputation after a tourist in his group gets bitten by an alligator during a live feed of his show. But when he shows up at the airport, she realizes she already knows him, a bit too well! But she can do this... just get through the next two weeks at the resort in Costa Rica and maybe no one will find out she slept with a client. The only problem: they crash before they get there!
While he obviously didn't plan to crash his plane, surviving on a deserted island is right up Jack's alley. He even saved his camera equipment to record the whole thing. If only he could save the woman from herself. Every time he turns around, she's gotten herself into a more ridiculous situation!
The sexual tension and sarcastic banter between these two is hot, hot, hot! They go together like oil and water: she's the grumpy workaholic, stubbornly determined to do things her way even though she has no survival instincts at all, and he's the laid back survivalist, protective and determined to get them through this. I just loved his sarcastic humor!! I highly recommend this book to anyone needing a good laugh!

This. Was. So. Good.

I’m a sucker for a good rom-com. Fill it with sarcasm and sex, add some witty banter, and vagina-inspired one-liners and you better believe I’ll binge-read it in a day. Even better if it’s dual first-person POVs.

And that’s exactly what happened here. This was sexy and fun, and full of angst and sexual chemistry. The writing was on point, the pacing, the dialogue, everything. Especially for a we’re-stranded-on-an-island-and-practically-the-only-two-people-in-the-book book. Those tend to get boring. This one did not.

Bravo, Jeré! 👏 Also, this:

🎵🦈 tampon shark (doot doo da doot da doot)🎵🦈

Thank you to the author, Jeré Anthony for the gifted eARC! (Seriously, how are you 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 good?! 😘)

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗬 𝗤𝗨𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦:

“Starched pants just don’t give me that rugged throw-me-against-the-wall vibe I’m looking for tonight.”

“…if you want to survive, you’re going to have to put down the giant dick and start listening to me.”

“I’ve come to realize that feisty Gwen is my favorite person on this island, and that says a lot because I think pretty highly of myself.”

“I’ve never had such a strong pull toward anyone, but there’s something about how I feel when she’s near me. It’s like there’s this extra set of lungs in my chest and the weight of the world doesn’t feel so heavy.”

Well this is just the sweetest opposites attract romantic comedy. If Bear Grylls was a You Tube influencer on the show Naked and Afraid, you’d have the essence of this book by Jere Anthony.

Gwen is a busy city girl who grinds day in and day out at her PR job chasing a promotion she desperately wants. It’s just within her grasp when she’s tasked with the big job of repairing the reputation of one very popular You Tube sensation Wombat Willy (whose real name is Jack). They are on their way to Costa Rica when tragedy strikes and their tiny puddle jumper goes down. Wombat Willy is a survivalist , in his element and gets right to work. Gwen is an independent city girl with zero knowledge of the outdoors and hates being told what to do. Their banter is adorable and before I knew it the book was finished and left me feeling warm and fuzzy.

I absolutely loved this story. It’s unlike any romance I’ve read recently. Some parts were a bit far-fetched and unbelievable but that’s why I read fiction – to escape into a world where anything is possible.

This book comes out July 28, 2022 and you’ll want to go ahead and snag it now, add it to your TBR and keep this on your radar. Thank you so much to Book Sirens for my electronic ARC. This is my honest opinion of the stand-alone book Wild For You by Jere Anthony.

Like the name suggests, Wild For You is wild! It’s different from what I have read before and I love it. Gwen and Jack are total opposites and were supposed to work together in Costa Rica but end up being stranded on an island. Gwen is a workaholic PR whose main goal is advancing her career while Jack has a carefree attitude and has an unconventional job as a survivalist. It was fun to see them tease each other, argue, and fall in love. Most of the book focuses on them trying to survive on the island while also witnessing the development of their relationship. It was fascinating to read about how they had to use the few resources available to eat and create shelter. As a reader you really feel like you are with them in their adventure. Along with the characters, I appreciated the beauty of nature and being away from the “real world” while also feeling their desperation of not knowing when they will be saved. Despite their many differences, they learn to trust each other and improve their communication. In my opinion, Gwen developed the most as she finally broke down her walls and truly opened up to someone. The last part of the book surprised me but I still enjoyed it and the epilogue was perfect.

3.75 ⭐️ This book was so good. I really needed a fun, sweet, rom-com and this was so unique and different, it hit the spot to be sure🤭. I also loved the miscommunication like- UGH. I’m a whore for some good miscommunication it’s one of my favorite tropes and this is done so beautifully and in a way that actually makes sense. Now I would give this 4⭐️ but I held back bc when I’m reading a third act break-up I expect growth, and I got none of that, at least not to the extent that I expect. It was just them realizing they love each-other and can’t live without one another, but they already knew that prior to being broken up. Also (and this might be nit picky) the way that he behaved after losing his leg was very childish. Like he’s that is an important part of his career and something incredibly shocking that he can’t fully comprehend yet. But why are u as a grown ass man throwing coffee on the one person there to help you. Come one now get it together. All in all this was a really good book that held my interest, I definitely needed the pick me up after a string of books that did not.

Wild For You follows Gwen who is a PR specialist she is tasked with helping Jack. Jack runs a youtube survival channel. But recently got into some hot water. In order to help him Gwen agrees to go with Jack to Costa Rica. There is just one problem: their plane crashes on a remote island. And they are now forced to survive and find a way home. Being forced together might be one way to fall in love.

This book was so stinkin cute. I loved Gwen and Jack's relationship. You were seriously rooting for them the whole time. There were some laugh out loud moments in this book. I loved the whole survival plot line. I just could not get enough of these characters. I was so sad when this book was over because I did not want it to end. If you are looking for a cute rom com to read this is one I would highly suggest. This book was just so fun!. Thank you so much BookSirens and Jere Anthony for the ARC of this book.

Thank you to BookSirens for allowing me the opportunity to read a copy of "Wild For You" by Jere Anthony!

Overall, I rated this novel a 4/5 stars!

The book tells the story of Jack and Gwen. Jack has a YouTube survival channel and Gwen is a PR specialist - they are both headed to Costa Rica on an assignment - which made for an interesting storyline because they have history with one another. This was a quick read (was able to finish in a day) about forced proximity and a decent amount of spice. The writing was quite humorous and made me laugh. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of the author's novels!

One thing I did not particularly enjoy was the fact that Gwen was written as a character with a complete lack of common sense. It was a turn-off because I typically enjoying reading about female main characters the opposite of this.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the second book in the series and it was the first “stranded on an island” book I’ve read 🏝️

Our MFC, Gwen works in PR and ends up being assigned to our MMC, Jack who is a survival YouTuber trying to fix his reputation. Gwen is friends with Elliot (the MFC from book 1) and Jack is friends with Benjamin (the MCC from book 1). They end up crash landing on a deserted island and have to survive whilst awaiting rescue 🛟

It’s quite a funny romcom with Tarzan/Jane vibes which I found more entertaining than the first! I loved the island and the survival. The romance and spice was great 🔥

This would have been a 4 star if it weren’t for the last 10-15% of the book which didn’t feel as strong as the rest. Don’t get me wrong, it was still good! Just not as strong as the first ~85% of the book.

The whole series is free on Amazon Kindle Unlimited and they’re a great holiday/romcom read so far 🖤

This is the first book by Anthony that I have read. I enjoyed the writing style, liked the pace and could appreciate the plot. I became invested in Jack very quickly, loving his character and realistic thought process. Unfortunately Gwen just plain annoyed me. I understand where Anthony was coming from with her character, but a female can be a prissy princess and still have an element of common sense. Gwen didn’t have this common sense, quite the opposite and I therefore found myself rolling my eyes at her repeatedly and not rooting for her at all until more than half way through the book. Saying that though, that is my hang up and she did greatly improve, so don’t let that put you off an enjoyable read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

I'm still reeling from finishing this book. It is a rom com unlike anything I've ever read (which is A LOT of rom coms). From the instant attraction between Jack and Gwen to them mildly hating each other, this book served the forced proximity trope like no one has done before. I found myself constantly wondering where the story was going to go and yelling at my e-reader at each and every twist. The banter between Gwen and Jack was written so wonderfully and every scene just made you want to hug these characters and never let them go. While being an amazing mix of romance and comedy, that didn't stop me from feeling the heartbreak, the sadness, and the vulnerability that was written so beautifully. Jack and Gwen's love story is so special and I cannot wait for more people to read it!

Thank you to Jere Anthony & BookSirens for the advanced reader copy of Wild For You!

What a fun romantic comedy with a side of adventure and survival! A great book to read between the serious ones on your TBR. Also a great book to read in the middle of winter when you need some sunshine and laughs.

I loved the banter between Jack and Gwen throughout the whole book! There were so many great laugh out loud moments! As well as very steamy moments.

It was so worth it seeing Gwen becoming the best version of herself. Not the 9-5 corporate robot that she was molded into.

I loved getting into Jack’s POV and seeing how scared he was but how he was able to be so comforting and safe when Gwen needed him to be. I loved the moment he cracked and Gwen was there in the way he needed.

It was really hard to see the miscommunication between them- if they only spoke with each other.

3.5 stars. This is a unique storyline filled with great descriptions of the scenery and characters. But dammit if I didn’t want to pull my hair out over and over at the stupid, childish antics of Gwen during the whole beginning of the book, like someone would actually pull some of the stupid stunts she did in the name of stubborn independence if they were actually in a survival situation… with a survivalist?!? And the stupid lack of communication that causes the drama at the end is so infuriating and unrealistic. I love getting lost in the escapism of a book, but it’s hard to enjoy such an amazing story when adults are portrayed as stupid children whose friends don’t step up and talk sense into them. Kudos for the creative storyline, but I can’t stand the immature antics.

what a lovely book this one ?

it’s my favourite of the three in the series and although i accidentally read this last (it's the second one) i’m very happy i got to read it last.

if i want to conclude my impressions of the whole series i’d say that the stories are beautiful and i read them all in almost one sitting. they were captivating and addictive even without this investment you get with achy books and to be honest, this type of read is my favourite.

this is the most touching and cute and i loved how centred it was in the two MCs. i enjoyed reading it so much and i laughed throughout and cried in the end. it was spicy, funny and sweet and the story was well developed.

i’m going to go to sleep a happy girl tonight, feeling super satisfied with what i read.

82 procent.

A romantic comedy that had a lot of heart. I laughed, cried, swooned and rolled my eyes. It got all the emotions. I haven't read a "deserted island" romance before, but I really enjoyed this one. It's also rare that I like BOTH the MMC and the FMC, but this one did it for me. The chemistry between the two characters was delightful and there were some heavy moments too, being stranded on an island will do that to you. I liked how the characters made the other reevaluate their lives and choices unknowingly. Overall, I found it to be an enjoyable book and I was satisfied with the ending. Survivor... but make it hot.

This has been one of my favorite reads of 2022 so far! Thank you to BookSirens for the ARC. The book has some feels of “On The Island” from a while back, but without the age gap and of course, its own details. I loved the progression of Gwen throughout the story and could definitely relate to her sarcasm. I read nearly 75% of the book in one day and was super invested as the chapters were winding down.

I loved the lessons learned throughout the story, including do things that make yourself happy and express your true emotions to others. I’m excited to see what else the author has in the works for us.

Loved this romance read! Well written with amazing characters and a fun, smooth flowing storyline that will have you finishing this read in one sitting. Utterly addictive! This book gave me all the feels with great character development, plenty of laughs, sweet and steamy and everything in between. Jack and Gwen are our main characters. These two couldn't be further opposites since this book was told in their dual point of view it made it all the more wonderful. I really loved everything about this read. I think I just found a new fav author! Can't wait to see what's next!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Oh my gosh. I cannot even right now. I went into this with the very littlest of ideas what this was about. Didn’t read the blurb, just saw a TikTok and was like sounds interesting. I don’t even know how to say how good this book was. The writing 👌🏻 the story line 🔥 10/10. Finished this book and immediately recommended it to my bestie. Survivalist needs a PR assistance after college frat boy messed it up on a adventure. PR expert comes to save the day. Well more like crash landing a plane on a deserted island and learning how to survive and managing to fall in love at the same time. DOES IT GET ANY BETTER?!!?!?

Fun different book...

Spoiler alert:
I enjoyed the book, it was a different trope than I usually read which is always nice. But near the ending when they come back and the "misunderstandings" they have were really dumb. He apologized for the accident (plane crash) and she assumes he meant the baby was an accident? Like wow that's far fetched even for an irrational woman lol and then he had his own which made slightly more sense than her assumption where he assumes she found out about his leg and wasn't interested anymore. Both were unnecessary and could've had a better conflict upon returning than them assuming dumbly
