4 stars. Whew, I am certainly not seeing the Pearly Gates because I enjoyed this a little too much. Damn. Z and Nasha are soon to be stepsisters sneaking around and it was so hot. I could’ve used at least 50 more pages of this. Also for a book called Scissor Sisters where the hell was the scissoring at? There’s a brief mention at the end but no actual scene of it. It’s right there in the title dammit!

Short and oh so very very sexy! If you are looking for a well written quickie (pun intended) then this is definitely one to read! Soon to be stepsisters, Zena and Nasha, one twenty-one just dropped out of college and the other is eighteen finishing high school. Turns out they may just have the hots for each other…

I was really hoping to love this novella, but it fell flat unfortunately. The spice was definitely spicy but it was off putting how Zena thought about Nashua. There were times I felt like I was reading the thoughts of a man who is objectifying a woman. Plus the whole “alpha” thing and “taking what you want” was cringey. Other than that I could see this being fleshed out for full length novel.
