The decision to construct a wall and detain the nightmarish madness imprisoned within begins a dictatorship formed in the name of Lucifer. Warlock Infernal provides hours of mutilation, torture and cannibalistic fun offered up by Splatterpunk Award winner Christine Morgan. Building on top of Edward Lee’s frightening foundation, Morgan once again embarks on a well constructed story of good vs evil set in the mortal world. Plenty of carnage and atrocities are showcased as she paints her pages with crimson gore and maroon monstrosities. Localities such as Shit-Ya-Pants Road, Dumbfuck Gully and Bighead Rock are the starting points to this journey of horrific splendor. Be it angel or demon, Christine makes it clear there will be no lines drawn in the sand.
Let’s get straight to the fundamentals of this five star review. The blending of an unfiltered writing style with reality-bending content often result in dark images of death and sex. Christine Morgan has unleashed her own raw and uncensored version of Revelations upon these gore-laden pages of visceral. Extreme and Splatter readers rejoice, for your time has arrived.
With that being said this novel is one heck of a testicle squeezing good time. Begin your snip-and-clip voyage now with mutilations, decapitations and disembowelments of the soul. Warning: This novel may contain graphic violent content and subject matter, Parental Advisory is suggested. Warlock Infernal warrants a steadfast countercultural five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.
Christine Morgan defines enthralling Extreme Horror with Warlock Infernal, the sequel to Lakehouse Infernal and her second book in the sanctioned continuation of the Infernal series by Edward Lee. Morgan’s captivating, vivid, and clever writing style is at its finest in this one.
The characters are engaging and fun. Morgan’s use of dialect and colorful dialogue coupled with cleverly-crafted perspective and body language makes each of the characters a distinct individual. And what a crazy and colorful mix of individuals they are! The dialogue alone will keep you entertained.
But of course there’s the story itself, full of brutality and blood and desperation and hubris and really dark humor. The beginning of the story, flowing and visceral and brilliant, it grabs you right away. From there, the story and pace are riveting and relentless. The explicit and graphic scenes serve to pull you in further without coming across as gratuitous. That being said, the graphic and explicit nature of both the content and the descriptions keep this book firmly in the Extreme Horror subgenre, and only those readers whose tastes run to the extreme should partake of this incredible tale.
And it is definitely an incredible tale. Extreme horror fans will be amazed by the levels of brutality, depravity, and horrifically dark humor, as well as how these elements seamless blend into a flowing story that is as fun as it is cringy.
Warlock Infernal is an important contribution to the Extreme Horror subgenre and a necessary read for all Extreme Horror fans.
There are very few writers that can start a book with a bang and keep it running at full speed throughout the story. Christine Morgan is one of those illustrious authors that can give you a whopper at the beginning and continue to deliver!
Warlock Infernal is the continuation of the Splatterpunk Award winning Lakehouse Infernal. This book starts exactly where Lakehouse ended.
Lake Misquamicus was a picturesque place in Florida where people went to vacation and get away from the trials and tribulations of their real world lives. They looked forward to their vacation homes and fun in the sun. The lake’s surrounding inhabitants were happy until the day Hell took up residence.
The lake is encapsulated and people changed to fall in line with this new regime that has taken control. They are given a choice, to conform or die by a number of torturous ways.
Angels and Demons are poised to begin the battle that is lurking on the horizon. Everyone in the immediate area is affected by the infiltration of this new regime. Some will get swept up in it, some will fight, but most will die in glorious Splatterpunk fashion. Who will survive this ultimate battle in Area 666?
The author introduces us to creatures that we’ve all heard of, but thought we would never see. Morgan brings our nightmares and erotic dreams to life in this fast paced journey through Hell on earth. She does not skimp on carnage, blood, and incessant gore! There are triggers all over this story so be prepared!
I enjoyed Warlock Infernal a lot. I hope Christine Morgan does write another to follow this one. Check out Warlock Infernal if you dare to enter Area 666!
Another amazing book from Christine that made me smile non-stop. Jammed packed full of pop culture and movie references while being gory, filthy and adventurous. I fully admit I was more routing for the 'bad guys' than good but loved all the characters and the epic story. Christines definitely become one of my favourite writers and couldn't recommend this and Lakehouse enough. Great double bill that I hope one day becomes a trilogy (somehow)
I’ve been slacking for too long on doing my reviews. I’m sorry to the authors because I know how important it is for a lot of us to get the word out.
Now, onto Warlock Infernal by Christine Morgan. I’m a HUGE fan of her work. Ever since I picked up a copy of Spermjackers From Hell, I’ve been hooked! I have yet to be disappointed in a single book that I’ve picked up from Christine. Always a blast. Always gruesome & hilarious. They are the best at pulling me into a Horror romp that’s akin to a 90s video store rental, but so much more!
Warlock Infernal is no exception to the rule either. It’s the follow-up to Lakehouse Infernal, which was quite a wild ride as well. I’m hoping that there will be at least one more book in this series. Pretty please!
Also, Christine’s Infernal series itself is in continuity and part of Edward Lee’s Infernal series. I myself actually came to read Lee’s Infernal series books after picking up Christine’s book first. I love those books too. Christine’s writing fits Edward Lee’s like a glove, or any other tightly fitting sheath designed to enwrap an appendage. Equally as lurid and bodacious. Steeped in blasphemy, corruption and gore! Not for the squeamish! And I love it.
Do yourself a favor, go out and buy any of Christine Morgan’s books. You will not regret it. Or, maybe you will, but that will be from an onset of shameful titillation and guilty lascivious pleasure.
