I was completely obsessed by this book after I changed schools at the end of 6th grade. Didn't help that no one had the book, and the library copy was missing. I've spent the last 16 years with it percolating in my subconscious, and as I typed in books from my past, it sprang forth. Even though I'd like to think my mind has developed since 6th grade, I'm going to find a copy and read it...at the old age of 28!

This is a book from my childhood, more for preteens but I remember being so enchanted by it. As Z and I embark on our preteen books revival, this is definitely a must for re-exploration.
