The Ending Left a Lot To Be Desired

****Spoiler Alert****
The book was good until the ending. Unfortunately, it felt like K.Nicole lost focused and just decided to abruptly end the book. First, what was the purpose of Tenaia running away, then being found 24 hours later, with nothing being resolved between them. Then we were told they had the baby and it was a girl but we know nothing of the baby. We were cheated out of the birthing experience and there’s no description of the baby. Does she look like Tenaia but with Zion’s eyes? Is she a daddy’s girl? How is Tenaia handling being a mom? Then we still don’t know why Zachari killed and mutilated Zeek. Next Zavi said that he was going to handle Zachari but apparently he didn’t. Also, the whole eating out of a garbage can didn’t seem believable for Regina and Zachari. Lastly, did Tenaia ever get her GED and go on to college? Those details are important and what sets authors apart. When people finish reading a book they want to feel like they’ve read a complete novel not left with more questions than answers!

This book really needs to be edited fr like omg the errors were too much. Can’t say I was mad at Naia for what she did but I didn’t like how she went about it. I did like how Zee was there for her when she needed her though. Zion was crazy and I loved that about him. He was going to make sure he found Naia and killed behind her.

The relationship they had was cute and I like how Rock and Zee got what they both wanted too. I liked them together. Jada being a grandmother was everything too. I’m glad everything came full circle even if I don’t expect Naia dad to die. Or a couple other twists.

Naia & Zion

This was a good read! Naia & Zion was a great matched even though they both bumped heads with each other every so often but the love they had for one another is something they couldn’t deny!❤️❤️❤️

The book was good overall. I enjoyed reading about Zion and Tenaia and all their craziness. That said, this book needs an editor badly!! The missing words and having to guess what word was supposed to be in certain sentences became exhausting.

The “epilogue” at the end felt abrupt, almost like I stumbled into it. The ending with Zachari and Regina didn’t align with their personalities in the book. Someone as ruthless as Zachari wouldn’t go down without a fight. On top of that, the ending felt like it was missing a few paragraphs. It honestly felt like the author decided she didn’t want to finish writing the book and just said, “Here, damn!”

Zion 🔥🔥🔥

I love this series ❤️
Zion is a different kind of crazy. His dad and grandfather are evil men. How can you take you child away from his mother and then lie about her 🤔. My heart went out to Kiera parents, but to snatch that necklace away from Naia was wrong she didn't do anything she was a victim too. Zion would do anything to protect his family. Zion dad was just downright evil how you kill your own dad. Glad Zee and Rock got together ❤️
I truly loved this book. I can't to see what is next.

I loved this series it was everything from the beginning to the end. I was so that Tenaia and Zion got it together. I loved them as husband and wife. I didn’t feel bad about what happened to her father though along with Zion’s people either.

This was a good series... This book just had so many errors that it was hard to stay on track and really pulled away from the storyline... It felt a little rushed and jumpy at times Especially towards the end... I also feel like it just abruptly stopped making me feel like I am missing something...
Tenaia just could not catch a break... Her emotions were all over the place and she didnt know how to feel and who she could trust... It was like just when she was really opening herself up to Zion... He would do or say something that would piss her off and he would snap on her making me mad at him... I understand this relationship thing is all new to him... But sometimes he treats her like she means nothing to him... I mean he also does go out of his way to make sure she is safe and tries to make her happy... so it is hard to stay mad at him...
Zion did have a lot on his shoulders at one time... Dealing with the mess from his grandfather and father... Just meeting his real mom for the first time and hearing why she was not there for him and what part his father played in it... Then trying to figure out how to be in a relationship.... But he is a strong minded person so he is able to handle all the things that are coming his way... Everything that he learned growing up about loyalty and family was all a lie... Because his family is the ones that hurt him the worst... If you can't trust family... Who can you trust... But those that did him wrong are now paying for it the worst way...
Tenaia and Zion my have not started out in the best way... But they were able to find the best love ever while going through the process... Zion was her protector and Tenaia was his peace..

Whew Chile this story was very good. This book series took me down and through it! So Zavi was the one who shot Zachari. Tenaia got on my nerves at times the only thing Zion was protecting her a their unborn for being harmed. I'm glad Tenaia and Zion had a happy ending after everything their family put them through. Terrick was a sad excuse of a father that didn't deserve Tenaia forgiveness, he deserved that karma. Zeek old ass need to sit down before he have a heart attack. Jada and Zion mended their broken mother/son relationship and now better than ever. Zachari and Sabrina deserve that karma, for Sabrina to be a woman and how she did her ex best friend was wrong asf, and for Zachari to lie to his son all them years was wrong. Sabrina broke the girl code. Zachari killed his father, he was the devil. I'm glad Zion and Zee made up. I was happy when Rock and Zee stop playing and made it official.

I need answers‼️

Okay I’ve enjoyed both parts of this series but I feel like it could’ve been a part three. The ending felt rushed. I don’t get why Naia left only to be found shortly after. Like what made her think that was a good idea, being pregnant and in a new city running from your husband just made no sense to me. Zion was a lot but he loved her and did everything to make her happy and she stated that she was happy. So again why leave?!?!

Why did Zavi shoot Zachari?!! Who killed Zeek!?!
Zachari and Regina dumpster diving made no sense to me, 🤦🏾‍♀️ what a fall from grace. Did Naia ever get her GED and enroll in college? She missed out on so much of her life I was hoping she was able to at least accomplish those two things. Naia’s dad was the worst and in the end he got what he deserved. We got an epilogue 2 years later but it didn’t tell us much. Overall I really enjoyed this series!

OMG what a Great read I really enjoyed it will definitely read another book by author

Tenaia and Zoin went thru a lot and had a rocky start both went thru pain and upside down. I'm glad Zoin and his mother Jada are rebuilding there relationship.
Zoin and Regina got what they deserved after he mistreated his mother and him and there grandfather Zeek. Tenaia father really hurt with his betrayal and losing her best friend to suicide . Also she now a new mom to baby girl Zionna and enjoying motherhood and being a wife and mother. Rock and Zee are married and expecting their first baby. Zion and Tenaia are still going strong and loving each other exclusively. Jada I would love to hear her story and see her happy ending.

Whew, let me just say this… nothing was endearing about these two. Zion is just running around, shooting and killing folks, in front of Tenaia, like she’s supposed to be okay with it. Huh?! Sir, if you can’t be soft for your girl, who can you be soft with?

And Tenaia? Lord, this child got on my nerves. The constant running mess was dumb. Then the story kept tossing in plotlines, Zion’s mom popping back up, the best friend reveal, Tenaia’s dad dying, but nothing really felt fleshed out. It was like a lot of chaos with no payoff.

Then we get to the end and boom… a time jump. Suddenly, everything is fine and tied up with a neat little bow. Huh?! That didn’t work for me at all.

(2.5/5) Because writing is hard and I respect the effort, but yeah… this finale just didn’t hit.

idk

For some reason lately the Female MCs have been on my ish list for awhile. I just haven’t been liking a lot of them. Maybe they’re just too emotional for me and do dumb ish like run away instead of using their words. I just don’t be understanding their logic most of time then they want the the main Male MC to kiss their a** when they’re in the wrong. SMH. Anyway this was a pretty good story minus a few parts but honestly I think my dad would most definitely have to go. I wouldn’t trust it. I might be a lil ruthless though lol. Glad he was able to meet his mom and develop a relationship with her.

Great

I recommend this book because it's really interesting I'm glad that Tania has mature some but she still needs to communicate better with Zion. Rock and z need to get yourself together and gone and be together instead of sneaking around like they little kids. I'm glad that Zion knows how to stand on his own and be the man so happy to hear his mom got to connect and finally got to know each other.Zachari and Regina were trifling and should have at least told him the truth. There were a lot of ups and downs as in any relationship. Im soo happy it all worked out Zion was a real one!!

Tanaia

I really enjoyed this crew. My heart really went out to Naia. Nobody allowed her to make decisions about her life. Her dad, Griff, and then Zion. I know Zion was loving her the best he knew how, but she couldn’t think for herself. I understand why she went back so easily, she was lost in this world without someone making decisions for her. Zee was a good friend, even though it put her in a compromising situation. The dads really showed their true colors. How can you be so ruthless to your own kids. I wish we would have had more detail on Rock and Zee’s relationship.

My First and Last Read from This Author

I really wanted to love this series. The storyline wasn’t bad, but there were so many parts that never came together. It was difficult to make it through the book because there were so many grammatical errors, spelling errors, and missing details. It was like reading a rough draft rather than a completed work. It was like trying to put a puzzle together. I’m an avid reader so it became really frustrating. I strongly recommend having someone proofread and edit before releasing anymore books.

good read

I love these two together. My draw back was that I feel like the ending was rushed. The secrets kinda missed the mark for me. I just don't believe that he was in love with Jada and did her the way he did, like he could've bare minimum given her some money. I think it was interesting how quick Zion turned on Regina. Did she even know what really happened to his mom, how did Zachari and Regina even meet. Things didn't add up for me and seemed like they were just thrown in to add drama and bring the book to a close.

It was okay. Book one was better and I had to force myself to finish it to the end. I didn't connect with any of the characters at all. And it got boring at points with excessive intimate scenes. That felt like fillers. The ups and downs in Zion and Tenaia's relationship was irritating and I couldn't relate. She was getting annoying and Zion was way too trigger happy. I wish there was more development with him and Jada. The relationship with their parents wasn't covered as much. Overall, it was an okay read. I'd like to read more of this author's book to get a sense of her style.

My first, my last, my forever!

Book 2 picked up right where one left off and so did the drama and action. Naia sought to give answers to her bff’s family and that came with its own shocking ending. Naia and Zion started having issues that caused bigger problems that Zion could’ve ever imagined but it also taught him some valuable lessons about appreciation and effective communication. Relationships and loyalty are tested. Everything seems to spiral out until understanding and respect comes to the forefront and is had.

Great Series!!
I really hate everything that Naia went through, but before she married Zion she knew the type of man he was, so when she was tripping towards the end made me mad with her. Zion's dad and step mom were a whole mess and evil. They got their karma, they got to feel everything that Jada felt by being on the street and unable to see her son. I would like to hear from Rock and Z. I'm happy how the book ended. Great Job!!!

Satisfied Reader

Oh how them tables turned for Zachariah and Regina. Tenaia life was turned upside down but turned around when Zion stepped in the picture. He showed her love and also he showed her how ruthless he was. Zee played a dangerous part but it worked out for the better. Zion had to know her feelings. This series was so good and I can’t wait to read more from this author

worth the read

This book picked up exactly where it left off. Zion was a true to everything he said and did. I’m happy him and Tenaia worked things out and how he fully accepted his mama. Too bad jada and Zachary ended up in the slums but they deserved it. My only con to this book is the ending. Although loose ends were tied up, pieces felt a bit rushed, nonetheless, it didn’t take from the overall storyline.

Felt rushed.

This book had great potential but the end of the of book was forced.

Tenaia ends of running away because he moved her stuff away and he finds her 3 pages later.
We knew that Regina and Zachari was going to suffer but there was information about it..
Boom!! They were homeless..
Some items that did not need explaining was explained and some things that need further details were lacking..

Book 1 was really good..

Good read

I enjoyed this book and series. I loved how Zion went so hard for Tenaia. She was young and naive when she was kidnapped. Her father was so wrong for involving her friend in the kidnapping. I hate he did thevwaybhe did. Regina and Zachari got what they deserved. See was a whole mess but Rock was good for her. Jada got a second chance. I do hate the story ended abruptly.

loyalty means everything

I’m proud of Tenaia for handing up for herself and putting her foot on with Zion. If I was Zee though I wouldn’t have gotten involved because she’s like he homegirl who runs back to their man lol they both were new to relationships/marriage so it’s a learning experience for both. At least Tenaia finally knows she has a say in her life and hopefully is achieving he goals as a hood billionaire’s wife

Is this the finale ?

Zion wasn’t taking no disrespect when it came to his Naia. I mean yes he was crazy but he meant well.. Naia was annoying a little bit.. Her reactions were realistic for a sane person. Anywho I’m not done.. I want a holiday book/kindle vella something to keep me updated.. Another fave

She stood teen toes down 20 feet deep on what she did. Either way I bet she'll do it again because that's just her.

suck

Part 2 was not what I was expecting. For one how was it that Zachari was about to get away with killing his father without being dealt with. What happen to the uncle Zee father did he retired because I thought he was going to deal with his brother. I don’t know but this book needed more work to it the ending was trash
