DEAR FUCKING LORD THIS WAS SO GOOD I CAN'T STAND IT
from the moment I met the new Hera, I knew i would be obsessed with her. but that won't cover the extent to my obsession for her. when she married Zeus, I, then, knew their book would be my most anticipated read of the series
but now????????? NOW IT'S MY MOST ANTICIPATED READ OF THE CENTURY
I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT I READ. the crumbs we got in wicked beauty got me hooked and i knew they would serve. BUT THAT IS A MASTERPIECE ABOVE ALL ELSE
this short story about them was pure bliss but at the same time extreme torture bc how am I suppose to wait for their book when, I, now know the potential they are capable of serving. I'm at loss of words. they have ruined me and it was only an excerpt
i'm too stunned to speak
it was pure tension, hate and chaos. they are going to embody the word "enemies" and i'm so here for it!

reading this short story never gets old, I’m just so fucking addicted to zeus and Hera. I’ll wait patiently their book but while I’ll wait Imma for sure going to fangirl over every little interaction we’ll have on them in the next books
they promise to be fire burning hell

I have wanted a Zeus and Hera book for longest, so when I saw it I immediately had to read it. And i'm so glad I did! It was a short recap of the two's wedding night. And may I add how much I would adore it if they had their own book.

Did I literally sign up for Katee’s patreon just so I could read this short? Yes, yes I did. Do I regret anything? NOPE! A short story that takes place between ELECTRIC IDOL and WICKED BEAUTY of Zeus and Hera’s wedding night, and by short they mean it.
Ooof, for a legit one chapter long short DAMN that was hot. So for the first two DARK OLYMPUS books Demeter has been straight up determined to link her line to the most powerful family, harder with Persephone as she was supposed to marry the old Zeus who’s known to kill his wives, and then with Psyche to the new Zeus, Perseus, who seemed to genuinely like her but there’s no passion there and Eros is perfect for her. But Demeter is determined leaving her other two daughters, Callisto and Eurydice, and Callisto knowing her younger sister is too fragile steps up. I’ve been SO intrigued by their dynamic ever since. They’re certainly not a love match, but I feel like they very much are equals and I’d really love to watch their push and pull and this little taste is incredible.
I love that Hera views it as a war, even sex, and how there’s winners and losers. Like she’s so mad how good he is and that he gets her to cum first. I also love that while he seems very calculating and measured, he also does seem to care about her pleasure and wants it to be good for her. Also Zeus straight up saying he’s either in bed with her every night or not?! Hot, NGL. It genuinely seems cruel that we have this incredible taste of just Hera’s mind (I cannot WAIT to dive behind his control, I want the mess of his brain) and their ridiculously hot sex to then wait for book NINE to get their story!! KR is so mean omfg.
Such a fun snippet though, cannot wait for more of their enemies to lovers story.

No no no. Me no do with only ONE CHAPTER. Me no like being left on the edge after those amazing 20 pages. Me no okay with this book not being out already.
This should’ve easily been the first book of this series. Zeus and Hera have THE MOST potential out of them all. They don’t deserve the tiniest story, and that too in between two other books. Nahhh.
Zeus supremacy all the way. Not dying without reading their book now, whenever should they release it.

i almost didn’t mark this on my goodreads bc it’s like only 15 pages long, but hey… it’s still reading! 🤷🏻♀️ after reading ‘cruel seduction’ i’m really liking zeus’ character, so i was interested to see this little snippet about the wedding night between him and hera. and honestly, it has gotten me soo excited for their full length novel. they have so much potential for some good development and i really hope it delivers! i can’t wait to see what tropes their story has! 💕

I am very drawn to this series. I liked all the books I have read to date. Now I have access to these shorts and I am puzzled. This is the second one I have read and it is a travesty. I get these are shorts, but nothing in these would pull me to read the series. Thank God I read the series before these shorts. They are so... awkwardly painful.
