I didn’t mean for it to happen but I was distraught and desperate and before I knew it I turned in my V card… and it was my fiancé’s father who had me first! When Kirsten discovers her fiancé is cheating on her in college, she’s devastated. She doesn’t mean to go a little crazy but the nearest person is her fiancé’s father and she runs to him. She doesn’t intend to throw herself at him and she never expects him to take what she’d been saving for her fiancé! Once it happens, though, Kirsten discovers she can’t get enough. Sure, it’s forbidden. In fact, it’s about forbidden as a relationship can get. That may be true but Kirsten has no intention of letting this taboo relationship go. Can she find a way to happily ever after?
I wasn’t a fan of this one. There was cheating and she ended up staying with her boyfriend AFTER she found out he has been cheating on her the whole time, but then she started doing the same thing! There was no point to the story, to me it just felt like one big sex fest, and the story kind of repeated itself a bit in each chapter. Talking about how she should feel bad for what she is doing but doesn’t and where did the relationship go with the the men? How does it end? Did the fiancé ever find out? I just wasn’t a fan of this one. I’m sorry.

When our heroine discovers her fiance is cheating on her, she runs to our hero for comfort. That becomes the start of a wonderful, taboo relationship.
This is book one of a series, but they just share a theme and a bit of a setting. It works fine as a standalone.
This is a short romance with a taboo theme. The story is short, well written and easy to read. I really liked the characters in this one and their obvious chemistry. Plus our hero really knows how to treat her right. Things move along at a brisk pace with a nice bit of steam on the way. All together it makes for a very enjoyable read.
Highly recommended.

Short but full of action, Kirsten finds out that Kurt is not the guy she thought he was. When she moves on to his dad, it seems to be spontaneous, but I feel like it wasn’t. I thought the progression of their relationship would negate the first one, but Kirsten learns that she can have her cake and eat it too! At first, I thought, good for her and I could see where she was coming from, but then she lost me as her thing with Daddy grew and Kurt was still there, unknowingly cuckolded, but happy just the same. There are some scenes where she's in the middle of something mind-blowing, but her mind is not involved, and I had to ask myself why her attitude was so detached, but still not. In the end, it works out for her, but the dad.... like Kirsten, I'm kind of on the fence with this one. Definitely read it for yourself, the writing is good, the scenes are complete, and the characters definitely have flaws, it absolutely made me think differently about the girl in the story.
Yes. I can see revenge sex when you find your fiance's been getting it on with several other women. I can even see having the revenge sex with his father. But keeping the fiance's sorry butt, marrying him, and all the while, screwing the crap out of daddy? Dang, just dang.

It seemed that Kirsten had been aware of the physical interaction between males and females for many years. Even in junior high school she was aware of the physical exchange between her peers, but she also was aware that if she were to engage in sexual interaction, she needed to have agency over her own body—to set the pace and the levels of sexual progression.
So, as a middle school student, she began to explore her sexuality, but with clear boundaries—petting and hand jobs. As she progressed into high school, her sexual education and exploration also progressed as she became adept at blowjobs. But when one of her partners attempted to push her beyond her boundaries, she ended the relationship. She would only progress in her sexual growth at her pace and with the partner of her choice.
As a junior, she met Kurt, a handsome senior who made her heart sing and her pulse race. While she knew that Kurt was more experienced than she was, she also knew that she was not read for sex. But, she wanted to keep him, so she became even more proficient in providing him with sexual satisfaction without ever crossing the sexual barrier. And overtime, they committed, exchanged words of love, and made promises for the future. He respected her and her desire to not engage in sex outside of marriage, and he respected her wishes.
And so, when he left for college, she missed him being physically available to her, but they used technology to stay connected as Kirsten moved through her senior year contented with their arrangement. But unexpectedly, her world falls apart when she learns that Kurt hasn’t kept his promise of waiting for her to experience sex, and she is betrayed, hurt, and wants to hurt him back.
What she wanted and needed was someone whom she could trust with her heart and body—a sexual partner who was willing to wait on her to be ready to commit emotionally and physically, to be true to vows of love and to remain true to their vows of fidelity. So, when Kirsten discovers that Kurt has engaged in sex with multiple partners, multiple times, she is crushed. Not knowing what to do, she turns to Kurt’s dad, a recent widower for help—both emotional and physical.
Penny Snoak explores several emotional and physical challenges—commitment, lovers at different stages of readiness, and whether the substitution of partners is cheating if love is not romantic. And, the relationship of the two young lovers’ relationship becomes an even more interesting conundrum when Kurt’s dad enters the equation.

I feel like I wasted the less than hour it took to read it. There are no characters other than Kirstin who are fleshed out beyond what they do. Even the dad she's having the affair with is nothing more than there when she wants to talk about what she's doing & how she's thinking. And she yammers on & on about "I should be thinking of this" or "I shouldn't be thinking of this" while having sex with the Dad. She's an 18 year old spoiled, stupid brat. It's an affair that lasts the whole book & seemingly still continues after she married his son. There's a jump in time that isn't really discussed or even captioned other than a quick he's working here & we moved from the started house my parents bought me. I was like huh?! Just not good. Her parents are upset about there not being a wedding when she postponed it. She's 18!!! Most parents would breathe a sigh of relief that their 18 year old daughter wasn't marrying her high school boyfriend. What kind of Dad willfully sleeps with his son's fiance & then wife?!?!
Kristen was waiting to give her virginity to the right man. Kurt her boyfriend was cheating on her and she finds out when she sees pictures of it on a flash drive of his. This was such a short but a hot book, the story was written well and the characters were intriguing. Kristen is engaged to be married to Kurt, she was over at Kurt's fathers house cleaning house and doing Kurt's washing when something happened. It was hot and steamy book to read, I liked it.

Kirsten catches her Fiancé cheating on her, she's devastated. While upset she turns to his fathers for support, she doesn't intend to throw herself at him and is surprised when he takes her up on her offer. Once she's tasted the poison apple she can't get enough. This is a great short story, I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I thought this romance was sizzling hot but a little twisted. Just a warning that there is cheating in this story. Kirsten is upset when she finds out that her fiancé is cheating on her so takes her revenge with “Daddy”. What happens afterwards is so unexpected.

Short story about a girl finding out her fiance cheated more than once, so she goes for his father after some time they figure out that they love each other even though she is with his son. Easy to read page turner with drama added into the sweet romance that is forbidden.

When her boyfriend Kurt cheats on her she looks for comfort with his dad. He is more than happy to help her with her feelings as well as with some other things. She stays with Kurt, but also with his dad and she gets her happy ending.
I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would.... I'm usually against reading cheating but when it turns out he has been cheating on her while away at Collage, she turned to his dad, and it was fire....
