Maximum Ride and the other members of the Flock have barely recovered from their last arctic adventure when they are confronted by the most frightening catastrophe yet. Millions of fish are dying off the coast of Hawaii and someone – or something – is destroying hundreds of ships. Unable to discover the cause, the government enlists the Flock to help them get to the bottom of the disaster before it's too late.
While Max and her team are exploring the depths of the ocean, their every move is being carefully tracked by Mr. Chu – a criminal mastermind with his own plans for the Flock. Can they protect themselves from Mr. Chu's army of mercenaries and save the ocean from utter destruction?
Discovered by Yen Press Senior Editor JuYoun Lee, NaRae was able to make her U.S. debut working on a series that already had legions of devoted fans. It's a lot to live up to, but NaRae proved to be up to the challenge by delivering artwork that looks remarkably polished for a relative newbie to the world of international manga publishing.
i have not read the book yet, but i am looking forward to it. i want to read it sooooo, bad!!! when i read the last page of the 9th book, i was so mad!!! i like cliff hangers, but not in this case because then i wind up breaking everything in sight because of it.
This feels like some forgotten fanfic that's never gonna get a new chapter. I definitely feel like the movie killed it for us. I miss this series, I wish it would come back. Not having volume 10 did get me to read the novels though.
This is the best series that I have ever read!!!!! It is action packed with fighting and more things that I will not spoil to new readers if they are reading this. I have to say if you have not read this series READ IT NOW!!! you do not know what you are missing out on. Big huge 6/5 stars on this book!!!
I read the ninth (manga) book back when I was in 2016. By the time the manga comes out, in 2019, it’ll make three years of difference... goddamn it, it takes so long for the book to appear
