658 books112 followersWilliam "Bill" Finger was an American comic strip and comic book writer best known as the uncredited co-creator, with Bob Kane, of the DC Comics character Batman, as well as the co-architect of the series' development. In later years, Kane acknowledged Finger as "a contributing force" in the character's creation. Comics historian Ron Goulart, in Comic Book Encyclopedia, refers to Batman as the "creation of artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger", and a DC Comics press release in 2007 about colleague Jerry Robinson states that in 1939, "Kane, along with writer Bill Finger, had just created Batman for [DC predecessor] National Comics".
Film and television credits include scripting The Green Slime (1969), Track of the Moon Beast (1976), and three episodes of 77 Sunset Strip.

i wonder who is the uncredited writer of the first and second story, i can't find mention of him where i usually look for these ghost story makers sadly.
its sad because they are actually the best stories of this issue.
First story Batman town, its a smart idea to attract attention by taking on the batname, the bat family cast is proof of that, but a really bad idea at the same time since it will attract the scum of the earth to wreak havoc upon your little town.
Second Story the hunters of gotham city, here a smuggler uses animals to smuggle something into gotham, by breaking them out of the ship that brought them, and batman while trying to get all the animals back, with no harm befalling them, has to also figure out who is the perpetrator and what is his end game.
Third Story my least favorite, Batman makes a contest for the youth of gotham, to invent a tool to fight crime, and the winning tool felt ridiculous to me.
This might be my last Golden Age batman comic, when i come back to batman again i ll probably jump forward to the reboot point in 1985.
