It was unnecessarily long. I skip-read the entire book.

I saw this book from my wattpad list had been published and decided to give it a try. I will always love werewolves/shapeshifter stories, no matter what.
The idea behind this book was really great, but unfortunately the execution was not that good. I liked the plot and the set of characters, but the development was lacking. Definitely, feels more like a wattpad fanfiction than a full book.
It’s still a good enough read when you need something basic and without too much drama like I did.

Great story
Continues from prior volume smoothly. We'll developed characters, interesting plot, and very good inclusion of appropriate level of detail in describing setting of story. Well written ending wrapped up a well developed story.
The only complaint comes from there apparently having been very little editorial review resulting in missing words, inappropriate use of pronouns in prepositional phrases, and other irritations that interrupt the flow of an otherwise well told tale.
Readers learn from what they read. Use of colloquial language is fine. Use of "to Name and I" or similar is just wrong, especially attributed to characters who are supposedly well educated. Would you tell someone to give it to me, or give it to I? Please use the correct pronouns.

April 4, 2024I love reading wolf shifters and if I find ones that I really like I like to go back and reread them I like this book but would never reread it there are a lot of books like this one but when I skip a few chapters due sex content and the use of the F word then I won't go back to it and there are some the use of F word the other content I won't finish it that's a shame I might like if but I get distracted

awesome!!
I love the story, the characters, the plot, everything. I read a lot of shifter stories some of which have the same story line. But this one was different and an absolute page turner. Highly recommend!! It did have a few misspellings but not a lot to warrant me to stop reading where it becomes aggravating. I absolutely loved this booked would definitely read it again just for the fun of it.

Story keeps you guessing
Loved the story, I originally wondered if it was going to end hea after 150 pages but the story has many twists and turns in it that it keeps you involved for the whole 430 pages.
Deals with some issues that occur in couples but I found they were covered with extreme care.

Must Read
Loved this book!!! It beautifully covered all aspects from love as mates, parents, and family, as well as tragedy that has you on the edge. The end was great how the author explained her bouts and thoughts. Wonderful, I will recommend and probably read several more times.

Interesting plot...
The story was really interesting. I liked the plot twists and the way the story developed. There wasn't really a lot of character development, as this was plot focused, but the characters were well written. There were some writing elements that I don't care for so that made me not love the book, but I did enjoy it.

Wonderful read and love story
I loved the build-up of the characters. They each had a special part, and it flowed wonderfully. If you want a great mate story with a happy ending, this is the best. I can't wait to read the next book once it comes out.
There may be SA triggers, but luckily, she doesn't go into details, so it doesn't take from the story. Thank you, Alicia.

Where can I get me a Brent?
Very sweet story! I feel like there were a few details that could have been better explained but overall this was a wonderful story! Brent is such a sweet character. Is he perfect? Nope! But he is very protective and his relationship with Tenley makes your heart melt into goo.

Beautiful story
I loved this book. I do the same thing when I need to keep my mind off things. I make up stories and scenarios in my head. It really does help. I loved these characters. Hope you write more stories about the pack and the alpha and luna and children's futures. You're a wonderful writer.

Did I just read the same book as everyone else? This must be a marmite book... as it's clearly loved by a lot of people, yet I was sooooo bored and ashamed to say, skimmed a lot of the book. Please read other reviews as I'm in the minority here so clearly missed something wonderful when skimming. Having said that, if I didn't find it boring I wouldn't have skimmed!!

Amazing Second Chance
This story was totally amazing 😍😍. Alyssa was a total badass and I was cheering for her all the way. I was grateful that Brent was able to find his second chance and that it was with Alyssa they truly deserved this mating.

This book was phenomenally written...I'm a fan of Ms. Miller now...looking forward to her next book...it's so nice and refreshing to read a book about love that is not tested or unnecessary drama

Perfect ending
I had ALOT of emotions reading this book.
I'm so very glad she was able to find not only happiness but love and feel allot of love in return.
