Lunches are disappearing and clothes are being torn to shreds in the halls of Jindai High! Sosuke decides to take the investigation into his own hands, but he gets sidetracked by the discovery of his own hidden talent - synchronized swimming! This underwater soldier can impress everyone in his swimming trunks, but how will he measure up to Kaname's grandfather, an ex-military man with twice the experience of his granddaughter's protector? Sosuke might be acing it as an undercover student, but the jury's still out on his military performance in Full Metal Panic! Volume 7.
Though many volumes present Sousuke as being out of his element, this one showcases he's skills are needed to help those around him. From helping with student counsel cases to saving Chidori when she gets over his head, Sousuke seems like the right man for the job. He really deserves more of a break than Chidori gives him.
Namun chapter yg berisikan ttg kakak Kaneme berhasil menyelamatkan
Udah punya komik Ini cukup lama, tapi baru sempet baca kemarin2.. *stok komik overload banget*
It's not that this one wasn't enjoyable, indeed the synchronized swimming (yes, you read that right) was quite amusing. But it's been two straight volumes of fluffy stories and it just seems that the author or adapter can't find a good balance between the silly high school stuff and the darker sci-fi elements.
This is getting better and better Retsu Tateo and Shouji Gatou are great artists and writers. As I've mentioned before this is a amazing manga and I am really really enjoying how it delves more into Sousuke's school experience and how frustrated Chidori can get with him, but also how good is their chemistry but looks like it's going to get serious in the next volume?
