5 stars just for Uru meeting her dad in a dream… Very sweet moment.
And I love these cute moments alone with Shindo… Just wish it was more often… I’m tired of them being dense!!! Just realize your feelings already!!!!!

It was actually a pleasant read. Plus the illustrations were really cute. But dang! That ending is so lacking! Where's the most anticipated kiss?!!!

The extra did the trick of making my eyes water a little bit. It's hard imagining someone like Uru's father passing on so early but perhaps that's why most author's don't relay much on the story of departed characters as they fear it strays away from the lighthearted central themes of the novel. Nevertheless, Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume did make me blot my eyes a little.
It'll be sad to let this novel go but this might perhaps be the first manga set I actually will bother trying to purchase. Author support!

Series Review: Happy Cafe is a sweet and funny manga that is a great light read.The characters are hilarious (often times even the bad guys) and the plot is never boring despite its slower pace. The romance is a slowly developing relationship that is refreshing in a overfilled market of instalove trends. The ending was kinda rushed but cute in its own way. I recommend this manga to those who are looking for a light read.
