Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.

He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.

He is a recipient the Tezuka Award for manga.

Those girls saw him bleeding out and did nothing to help because he looked creepy :( Yeah he was annoying but this is kind of sad. He was so young, and no one around him knew what was happening.

Apenas iba medio tomo y me caí de culo como tres veces. Eso de introducir a un personaje en un tomo y matarlo sin piedad al siguiente me pareció muy cruel, Sr. Araki. El resto del volumen se trata sobre el supermaquillaje de Yukako y me resultó entretenido pero menos atrapante, aunque ya la presentación de Kira en el tomo justifica las cuatro estrellitas de por sí.

3.5 - ⁠Meu nome é Yoshikage Kira. Tenho 33 anos. Minha casa fica na parte nordeste de Morioh, onde todas as casas estão, e eu não sou casado. Eu trabalho como funcionário das lojas de departamentos Kame Yu e chego em casa todos os dias às oito da noite, no máximo. Eu não fumo, mas ocasionalmente bebo. Estou na cama às 23 horas e me certifico de ter oito horas de sono, não importa o que aconteça. Depois de tomar um copo de leite morno e fazer cerca de vinte minutos de alongamentos antes de ir para a cama, geralmente não tenho problemas para dormir até de manhã. Assim como um bebê, eu acordo sem nenhum cansaço ou estresse pela manhã. Foi-me dito que não houve problemas no meu último check-up. Estou tentando explicar que sou uma pessoa que deseja viver uma vida muito tranquila. Eu cuido para não me incomodar com inimigos, como ganhar e perder, isso me faria perder o sono à noite. É assim que eu lido com a sociedade e sei que é isso que me traz felicidade. Embora, se eu fosse lutar, não perderia para ninguém.

Nuevamente maratoneando la parte 3 de Jojos.

Por el momento la historia va a un rumbo que parece normal, chicos viviendo cosas de jovenes, por lo tanto todo de mantiene tranquilo.

Josuke me parece muy buen Jojo, y el personaje de Jotaro me parece mejor como un secundario o alguien de apoyo como protagonista. Koichi me parece un buen personaje, incluso me siento en momentos identificado con varios de los personajes.

Okuyasu me parece un poco diferente al inicio cuando se nos presentó, pero es un buen personaje.

kira is HERE (i mean he was here before but we truly get to see this monster) and wow. look he just wants a normal life! but seriously, his stand is so fucking cool and so powerful. he is a monster and a freak who has been doing this for over 15 years. and ... look i didn't care for shigekeyo but his death still got to me. it was sad asf thinking about his mom and his dad. and kira is THREAT. BUT THEY GOT TONIO ON THIER SIDE. SO THEY CANT LOSE. yukako's and her shit is fun as well. everything is so fun in this life of morioh!

I didn't like the story of Yukako and Aya, the "Cinderella thing" I mean! I don't know why, but when men referencing girls' stories in their work, it always comes off in a very shallow way. If it wasn't for the events revolved around Shigekiyo against Kira, this whole volume would have been a waist of time for me.

Definitivamente fue un gran momento ver a todos los personajes Stand en un capítulo, de tal manera de presagiar el objetivo final de todos. Muy buen capítulo, pero no fue uno solo, con otros que no me gustaron lo mismo. Pero ahora uno entiende que todo es parte de un plan mayor, nada fue al azar.

今回も、主役のジョジョ達(ジョセフ/承太郎/仗助)は脇役。
メインは殺人鬼吉良と、彼と戦う羽目になった重ちー、そして、恋する由花子とその相手の康一。
だんだん、物語の種類や進め方が長期的なものになっていくので(前はストーリーラインが短めだった)、「この登場人物とその背景なんだっけ)となる事がこれから増えそう。
(吉良の初登場シーンだって、結構前だったような)

Kira is such a compelling villain. The scenes with him trying to keep up his disguise were so intense. And you almost end up rooting for him, since getting caught would mean the death of Josuke and friends. The way this whole sequence is mapped out in the macro and framed in the micro is fantastic. It's a thrilling bunch of chapters.

Then, Shigechi catches Kira and things get grim. Shit goes south, Kira's stand is revealed, and dopey little Shigechi dies. It's horrifying because, as I've said in past reviews, the only people to die to this point are Okuyasu's brother and Josuke's grandpa. The monologue about Kira's seemingly normal life sends chills down my spine. He's outlining how unremarkable he really is aside from being a murderer. But he's also motivating himself. He's giving all that information to Shigechi in order to create a situation where losing isn't an option for Kira.

Kira works well contrasted with the town of Morioh. He's such a cold, unfeeling killer in the midst of an ultimately loving community. Just about everyone in Morioh can be redeemed. But this guy is beyond redemption.

The following chapter, "The People of Morio-cho" is one of my favorites in Jojo. The whole gang we've established over these 80+ chapters (plus Jotaro and Joseph) unite to hunt down this cancer that has infected their home. That moment where they cross paths with Kira, completely unaware of who he is... goosebumps. An all time great moment in manga for me.

Unfortunately, I don't really like the cinderella mini-arc. Neither Yukako or the plastic surgery lady are strong enough to carry the story. I've already talked about how I don't like Yukako's feelings for Koichi. And the way its written here just makes me uncomfortable. But this isn't enough to stop me from giving the volume 5/5.
