Este tomo incluye la conclusión de los capítulos de "Sheer Heart Attack", que están mejores que los del tomo anterior, y la "pelea" contra Atom Hearth Father, un viejito que vive dentro de una foto. Y con eso a Araki le alcanza para entretener, asombrar y seguir dando cátedra de dibujo por unas doscientas páginas.

A blond man counting down the passage of time while your friend was donuted - and in the anime he says "muda." That really must've triggered his PTSD - and pissed him off even more. I just want Joot to be happy :(
This was honestly pretty scary. Normally-stoic Jotaro with such rage in his face... that's what happens when you remind him of Egypt. And he will not let you get away with it.

3 estrellas.
Nuevamente maratoneando la parte 3 de Jojos.
Por el momento la historia va a un rumbo que parece normal, chicos viviendo cosas de jovenes, por lo tanto todo de mantiene tranquilo.
Josuke me parece muy buen Jojo, y el personaje de Jotaro me parece mejor como un secundario o alguien de apoyo como protagonista. Koichi me parece un buen personaje, incluso me siento en momentos identificado con varios de los personajes.
Okuyasu me parece un poco diferente al inicio cuando se nos presentó, pero es un buen personaje.
El trasfondo de Reimi y Akira me parece un añadido un poco a la fuerza, pero me parece una buena trama.

Me gustó muchísimo, entramos en tierra derecha para el final de esta parte. Definitivamente pensé que podía morir Koichi, las anteriores partes nos demostraron que los protagonistas pueden morir, ¿por qué no Koichi en ese momento? Eso me gusta de los Jojos, es completamente impredecible, y a diferencia de otras partes, aquí debo ser sincero, no quiero que ninguno muera, salvo Jotaro, me da igual, pero se que no morirá.

I am beginning to see a pattern in Jojo part 4. Dont get me wrong, it’s still fun and random, but just when the good guys figure it out, the villain makes a miracle escape.

Koichi the LAD. He's the first person to stand up to Kira. And even when he gets beat down, he's still making credible threats. This boy straight up tells a serial killer "I'll see you in hell". It's amazing. At times he feels more like the protagonist of Diamond is Unbreakable than Josuke does. For now, it's enough that Koichi was able to save Jotaro and buy enough time for Kira to get a Star Platinum beatdown. I'm trying to think back to Stardust Crusaders- it's pretty rare that Jotaro is the beaten down victim who needs saving. It's a big deal for Koichi to be the one who saves his life.
In a way, Josuke's healing powers kind of necessitate that he doesn't take the spotlight. As a writer, your options are either to have him fight the bad guy 1 on 1, or not be present. Because if you've got Josuke and some buddies fighting, the stakes don't really exist. Josuke can just heal his pals, no sweat. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a challenging restriction. Same goes for Jotaro and his time stopping powers, now that I think about it.
What this does mean, however, is that Josuke can make a triumphant entrance (as he does here). Not to beat the shit out of someone, but to heal his friends. I love the way he sees through Kira's lies. Both because I love when the Jostars are clever, but also because it feels good to see Kira flail around and make such a mistake. The way Kira gets out of this is chilling.
Atom heart father was fine. Okuyasu's such a wholesome dope that I can't get mad when he fucks things up. He's doing his best. The idea of Kira's dad floating around giving people stand powers is pretty freaky if you think about it. He's creating this protective barrier around his son when we don't even what the guy looks like any more. It's such a mountain for them to climb. And the longer it takes, the worse things are gonna get.
I worry these reviews aren't amounting to much more than recounting what happens and saying "I like it". Diamond is Unbreakable isn't the sort of story that I can analytically sink my teeth into. It's about a bunch of loveable characters in a well realized world doing wacky and awesome things. It's packed to the brim with incredible moments I just love. There's nothing I can really add. The joy of it is all right there on the page.
