“What do I want to be? A strawberry, acorn or a caterpillar?” I totally can relate to little Sakura! Lol Anyway, this volume was about Uru figuring out what she wants to do in the future… BLAH! I hate when this topic gets brought up in shojo (or even shonen) series… It’s definitely not my favorite subject. I think it’s crazy to make a 18 (or 16 in this case?) year old choose a career path. 18 is so young… You change so much after high school…
Series Review: Happy Cafe is a sweet and funny manga that is a great light read. The characters are hilarious (often times even the bad guys) and the plot is never boring despite its slower pace. The romance is a slowly developing relationship that is refreshing in a overfilled market of instalove trends. The ending was kinda rushed but cute in its own way. I recommend this manga to those who are looking for a light read.
I love her parents too. They truly are the epitome of loving, carefree parents. :I Though I actually cannot imagine ANY sort of parent being like they are.
