This one sort of sucker punched me and not in a good way.
I'm normally not a real judgey person--well who am I kidding humanity is judgey to say you don't judge people is like saying you don't go to the bathroom.
So, Selena kind of threw me for a loop with this one. It picks up ten years after Babysitting the Baumgartners. We open with a sexy scene with Ronnie and her husband TJ--he's introducing the idea of an 'open marriage'.
This is where the story goes wrong for me. Ronnie, like I predicted, realistically is messed up by that whole situation when she was 19. She ran from it. I would have too. She's scared when TJ brings this up and it surfaces The B's and what happened and what DIDN'T happen after.
In short, the story got really preachy to me about condoning infidelity. One minute they are ranting how its not about the sex and cheating is betraying and the next minute Doc has three woman laid out before him dipping his stick in each one in turn and its not about 'sex' really? REALLY? You're gonna try and preach that BS to me. Sorry not buying it.
The whole thing came off icky and selfish to me.
You have Doc in this corner saying, "Oh don't listen to your head, listen to your body because that's the true test."
OK DUDE! If we all just acted like horny teenagers all the time we would not be a very productive society.
Ronnie spends her whole 'reunion' taking on ALL the Baumgartners and Gretchen, then circles back around again to her husband. Everyone is just in love, this is all about loving too much for one person so much love is happening.
I'm not buying what was sold here. I was so emotionally beat up by the first few chapters and by Ronnie's struggle that I had a hard time even getting into the sexy scenes and believing that just like that Ronnie is like, "Yep, I like community lovin'"
Let's not mention that everyone is all butt hurt at HER for not 'Making an effort to contact them." Um, how about the two GROWN ADULTS that seduced her and then hired a new plaything without telling her?!
Ugh, I'm just angry. I'm angry that it was spun with emotions and then tried to titillate me with all this sex to distract from Doc's "I have so much love for everyone" speeches. I was done after that and that was only about 40% in, I read to the end KNOWING the outcome but hoping I was somehow wrong.
It made adults look irresponsible and selfish I'm sorry this just ruined the whole fun of the first book for me.

Hmmm...for fans of BTB--this one is pretty different in comparison to the first one. Not nearly as erotic. I am not sure how I feel about the path Ronnie chose to take in this installment.
Where the first installment was smokin' hot and adventurous, this book felt a little weird and incestuous to me and not in a fun and sexy way.
It was a quick read, but not nearly as fascinating as the original BTB.

Yay....back for some more of Doc & Carrie’s exciting life.
LOTS & LOTS MORE OF SPOILERS…so STOP IF U DON’T WANT TO CONTINUE……… and just by the way, this is quite a long review…sorry…but I just got CARRIED AWAY!!!!!!!! So if you get to the end, I hope you enjoyed reading my view on the BAUMGARTNERS.
A Baumgartner Reunion takes place 10 years after Veronica, the babysitter, who we first met in Babysitting the Baumgartner’s, cut all ties with the B’s and disappeared from their lives.
She’s now, after giving up living in a relationship with Gretchen…remember her….the other babysitter that Ronnie introduced to the delights of “woman loving”…..and realizing she missed the “penis” factor in her sex life, happily married to TJ and mom to the adorable Sophie.
But….she is having some insecurity issues …is she enough for TJ...uh!!!!...she misses making “love” to a woman….how will TJ feel about a threesome!!!! There’s no surprise…….he LOVES the idea!!!
Wow…what a luck!!! The Baumgartner’s have invited her to join their family in Key West for a B REUNION!!!! Come on girl….what’s all this….no, I can’t…no, I don’t think it’s a good idea thing!!!!!

*All that questioning herself about going to the reunion and what does Veronica do…even before TJ arrives…oh yes, she goes one week earlier due to some or other problem at TJ’s workplace…gosh I forgot…yes already, what he does exactly!!!! See nothing else is as important as the SEX in these people’s lives!!!!!!! So, getting back to the NOT LIKED….yes, oh I can’t and from the moment she arrives at the B’s house on the beach, she begins her “Sexual Quest” – I kid you not…..
let’s see how it went – see “RONNIE’S SEX ITINERARY” below:

EVENING: So kids are out tonight and it’s time for some serious playing and loving!!! A la Baumgartner’s Style!!! So, another B added to Ronnie’s growing scalps in her Baumgartner’s belt…..the father, mother, nanny...who else is there…oh yes, the sister!!!! More about that later. EARLY EVENING: All the B’s ….children, nannies past and present go to the local bar hangout, where Brad, poor Janie’s rat of a boyfriend, gets a real lesson in sex……I had a bit of a problem with the way it was done…felt it was a bit tacky…but anyway…..
So after many drinks, go back home…and more sex in the car…boy, Doc sure had to show some restraint….or they might not have made it home after all. I can’t remember if there was another bit of GROUP sex that night…oh yes, just remembered…Gretchen went off with some woman for the night so it was just a threesome in the car journey.
Maybe the Henry encountered happened late evening…but anyway who cares about the exact time!!!!!

BUT….I would have LOVED some action with TJ & Doc……I mean all these gorgeous women I am sure would have loved to see it too!!!!!!!!!!!
I know this is erotica but whewwwwwwwwww…sex, sex, sex,…….mf/ff/ff/m/fff/m….lots of juices and cream “floating around”…..the author has some imagination…and what a storyteller on sexy, hot and exciting and fabulous, OTT, unimaginable but somehow possible alternative lifestyles. The way it’s written just has you wanting more and more of characters that you have in some way become familiar with and are now totally “into”!!!!! And though the plot was, of course, predictable, it was still rather an enjoyable journey taken with the B’s. And naturally, ended with a “cliffhanger” that will have us taken the next trip back to the BAUMGARTNERS….don’t u just love them??? Even though, 10 years later…sure a bit of grey somewhere….they both still have the hotness and sexiness we saw from the first time we met them!!!!
Apologies for the ramblings but I guess I just liked this story more than I previously thought!!!!!!!!!

This full length Baumgartner story is excellent. It explores the various combinations of sex between families and generations. The central couple is trying to decide if it is time to introduce a 3rd playmate to their sex lives. There is discussion of whether this is because the husband is bored with the wife (post child), just has a wandering eye, or is actually serious that the only constraints on love are those we define. This serious topic is very well presented in the middle of lots of sex in various combinations.
I applaud the author for being able to keep track of all the body parts, even when there is a f/f/f/m display of gymnastic proportions.
Plenty of tension to drive extra pairings, and everyone gets a HEA.

This book was not as good as the prequel. I like poly or menage relationships but did not like the main character sleeping around with everyone. I like more focused relationships versus the character sleeping with everyone. It was too much havig Ronnie sleep with the Mom, Dad, Nanny, Son, and the Daughter. And imbetween a combo of them and her husband. The first book was focused on two main relationships, more so on one key relationship with Ronnie and the mom and dad. Some may enjoy the book, but it wasn't my cup of tea. I don't like stories with too much sleeping around. The story may have been better if it just focused on the Mom, Dad, and the Nanny reuniting with Ronnie and keeping out the kids. But I guess that would have messed up the ending. If you have better books to read, would recommend skipping this one.

A Baumgartner Reunion is book two in the Baumgartner Erotica Series by Selena Kitt. I've read this series a couple times, and although I love Doc and Carrie, I'm a big Ronnie hater. This story had some hot sex scenes, but the story wasn't great.

Okay 10 yrs from last story basitting the Baumgartners. Ronnie is now married to TJ and has a 5 yr old daughter Beth.
The B's in the last book kept telling Ronnie how she was part of the family, part of the family, part of the family so so much. Basically seduced her, she was 19 at the time, then when all was said and done and the week in Key West was over...never called her or seen her since.
Can we said USED and the REPLACED by Gretchen????? ...ummm okay
Now if that's not bad enough now her husband TJ is talking about "adding" to the relationship with another female at the same time telling her she's enough for him..damn the man. Ronnie is reluctant, not hard to image after what the Baumgartners did to her 'young' mind.
She gets talked into spending a week in key west with the baumgartners and Gretchen with TJ joining the next week. Long story short ronnie sleeps with gretchen and makes her way through the baumgartner even the "kids" henry and janie who are now 19 & 21.
Apperently "love" in this world equates to lotsa sex with ppl close to u.
M/f/f/f, f/f, m/f, and m/f/f. .....so plenty of sex plenty of ppl
To me ronnie forgave carrie and Doc was to easily. After all she was the young 19 yr old when they seduced and then replaced her. This follow up book to Babysitting the Baumgartners picks up 7 years later, with our main character Ronnie now married with a child of her own and a husband who is wanting to explore other options in the martial bed. All this gets Ronnie to thinking about her week in the Keys 7 years ago with the Baumgartners. She says something in the heat of the moment that gets her hubby TJ asking who Mrs. B. is? TJ then arranges for Ronnie to meet up with her old friends. Forcing Ronnie to remember that week as well as meeting the 2 Baumgartner kids: now all grown up...leads to some serious bed hopping.
I didn't care for this book quite as much as the first, but I still liked it... and would recommend to others who are NOT faint of heart and can handle explicit reading....

This was not what I was expecting. I figured this would be just a repeat of before scenes. I also expected this to be just porn without a plot. While not quite porn w/o a plot, it was definitely hot on the sex.
I ranked this a four which is rather high for me only because I know I will re-read this story to masturbate to, when my hubby isn't around. I enjoy it enough that I'll happily put this in my spank bank.

I will start off by saying that Selena Kitt never disappoints. This book still had plenty of hot scenes but really you will not believe who is doing who. LOL
This one takes place 7 years after BTB, Ronnie is now married and has a child of her own. The Baumgartner kids are grown now which adds in a little bit of a twist in this story.

Another good, quick read by Selena Kitt. I was happy to read more exposition in this installment of the Baumgartner's and hear about the emotional aspect of their lifestyle. I enjoyed reading Ronnie's thought process in coming to the realization this is the lifestyle she really wanted and needed. I loved the addition of TJ and what he had to offer to the story, too. Although I loved all the sex in the book, I did think it was a bit over the top that Ronnie managed to bed everyone in the house at some point. With all the different couplings, I was hoping after TJ's arrival, there might be a four-way between Ronnie, TJ, and the Baumgartner's or a 3-way with Gretchen, TJ and Ronnie. I have put off reading this one for a while but I've read every other Baumgartner book. This one made me feel a little weird. Ronnie's behavior was just a bit on the icky side for me. I'm all for letting your freak flag fly, but I felt like she had no scruples at all in this one. I really don't know what to think. But, this is a Selena Book, so I still got to read some really hot scenes--especially that last one between Ronnie, TJ, and...I won't tell you who, but it was hot.
I will say that I've read some of Selena's more taboo books but this one caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting it. I guess I have to be in a certain frame of mind to really get read for those kind of themes.

OMG! Selena Kitt is the only author who can get me wetter than the ocean. I think this one was even hotter than the first. I really enjoyed the voyeuristic aspect of the storyline. That was hotter than hot. After Ronnie had Henry I asked myself "who's next?" Then it dawned on me that Janie was left and I was like "no, she's not gonna go there" and she did!!!! Shocker!
Ronnie had mother, father, daughter, and son. Incredible!!! It would have been nice if her husband got as much action as she did. I would have liked TJ to have gotten it on with Gretchen as well. But this was one great erotic buffet!

I blame the fact that I needed serious distraction on this horrible day, but I finished this book. I think I just needed to know what the heck Ronnie was thinking. I wanted to know how it was going to turn out. It turns out, that I don't think Mrs. b is really happy with her situation, but she gave in because dear old doc wanted a younger girl. I think Ronnie ended up the same way. And Henry...wow...ok...that's not sick at all!!!
So, after reading a hot hot hot story in the babysitting novella, I'm not thinking that I will continue on with this series. The situations just aren't for me. Sorry...

Great Read. 4.5 Stars. This is a lot less ground-breaking than Babysitting, and at times i had to wonder what is Doc talking about, but for a sequel it is great and the writing is easy to follow. The only down points are that where as Anal had a very heavy presence in the first, it was never even touched upon her, and considering the relationship between the kids, i'm actually rather surprised Veronica didn't end up in a threesome with the two of them, but that's just my inner pervert screaming out (you can see why i like to keep him chained up downstairs ;) )

A refreshingly direct approach to the medium of erotica, not so much in that it plunges "straight into the action" but in the speech and roles of all the protagonists.
Be warned though, that like most of Selena Kitt's books, this is not for the fainthearted and is definitly on the harder edge of erotica.

it was a good read. i didn't like the brother lusting after the sister. but i'm glad that it didn't didn't go further.
All in all a good lusty romp. a must read for all Selena Kitt fans.

This wasn't my favorite in the series. I had a hard time with the premise. All the erotic stuff seemed to be a bit too random for me...also, I struggle with the whole 'open marraige' thing. Also, there was a ton of girl on girl stuff and that just isn't my favorite. Still good for what it is though.

Hmm... This book was SMOKIN' HOT!!! It was so weird that Ronnie was slept with EVERYONE in the Baumgertner's house but I try not to judge. It was a hot book!
