More of Alex being out of control sexually, taking it just a step too far. He sexually harasses his dads friends and husband He reads his dad's diary and evwen goes so far as to add to it. He finally gets pulled over on purpose trying to seduce a cop. He ends up with a ticket and his dad catching him masturbating in a parking garage. It never was really resolved what they'll do with him. Mark has a lot of flashbacks in this story, he's feelling old and going over all the mistakes he's made in his life. I think some of the flashbacks and other story elements would have been better in an earlier book to build the story more.
