A warm, funny romantic comedy about friendship and love - and the great big green-eyed monster. Book 19 in the Girlfriend Fiction series: fall in love with something real.
A date with your best friend? How could that ever work? Maude and Lou live in the same street. She's a smart girl from a sensible family. He's a weirdo - a punk-rock musician. Despite being different, they've always hung out together. But when Lou asks Maude out on a date, everything changes. 'Funny and fast-paced - you've finished before you know it!' - Demi, 17
As a teenager, Robert Corbet constantly fell in love with blonde girls called Michelle. At university, he always fell for clever girls with long velvet dresses and short, dark hair. Finally, he met a girl in pink overalls who rode a motorbike. After a long, agonizing courtship, they bought a station wagon, had three children, and were happy ever after.
Absolutely loved it!! Girl and guy friends forever Guy has a band and this girl wants to make the band popular and guy starts to like that girl Maude gets jealous and talks to awesome but crazy (lou's) sister Eventually they admit their feelings to each other after a whole bunch of stuff (some that is quite funny actually) And their like 'maude I like you' "I like you too lou" <3 something like that...ITS SO CUTE!!
What a surprise, another 3-star rating for a Girlfriend Fiction novel. Well I have to say this one did appeal a little bit more than usual. The general idea is a girl and boy who have been best friends for quite some time take a step towards a more serious relationship not without many faults along the way but overall a nice, quick read for the younger audience.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It kept on moving so, it wasn't just letting the book down. It was a great read and I would read it again, and consider recommending this book to others.
