The wolf is always one step ahead of the rabbits. Now we have another victim and things are not looking good for those who left.

I think that i know who the wolf is but i can not be sure or should i say... i have many doubts

Se leen los capítulos en nada. Meh.

Rating: 2.5/5 – A promising first volume fails to deliver a satisfying closer

The problem with reading too many books of a certain genre occurs when you start removing yourself from the book you’re reading and begin applying the conventions of that genre to it. Mystery readers pride themselves on knowing whodunit before they reach the epic reveal, for example, and it’s the savvy writer who is able to keep them confused and earn their respect by pulling the wool over their eyes before delivering a satisfying and logically thought out conclusion.

Manga readers have the same basic problem. It’s never a question of whether you’ll like reading magical girl, horror, high school romance, or whatever sub-category of manga you choose, but more which particular title or titles you’ll follow, as many of the storylines follow the same trope-laden path.

As the first book left off at a teasing point just before revealing the killer, I was really looking forward to this book. This time it’s all action, there are less characters available to the story and they don’t know who they can trust. This is where this book really becomes similar to the “Saw” franchise as it brings everything to an exciting end. I wasn’t expecting the ending in this book and it’s an interesting way to end the story.

In my personal opinion this is although very similar to Saw, carried out better. It’s more believable, it doesn’t involve ridiculously complicated engineering, it’s simply barcodes and locks and the human condition does the rest. As I tend to find is quite common, the Japanese have taken a similar concept and executed it better than America has. I don’t mean that to be of any offense to anyone but you only have to look at Battle Royale vs The Hunger Games to see my point.

Not getting much better here. I love the visuals of the rabbit heads, but otherwise the art is confusing and the dialogue hard to follow.

bruuuuuuh what happened?
I was so liking it but this volume was a let down?!
I read it in a blink, there's so little text, there's almost zero plot progress and the tension has too many up and downs.
The art is not that great either... having almost no texts and not very good drawings? Definitely not the best combo.

I'm confusing two characters as well, don't know if it's only my problem but I'm having serious issues with this and it's bothering me way too much.

The overall was still good, but I expected so much more from it I'm pretty disappointed sigh

Yoshiki Tonogai can make me glued and thrilled to read what’ll happen next to this group. He can also force my brain to try finding out who is the wolf. It was an engaging story. I am glad that my guess on the wolf was half right half wrong, Tonogai made a good twist at the end…a very good twist if I may add.

However, there are some parts that don’t fit together. I keep trying to find if I have misread it somehow. But I couldn’t find any missing information no matter how many times I read it. I’m going to write my thought in the second page because it contains spoiler. If you want to read this manga one day, you don’t have to click the second page of this post

Summary (for the whole manga):
A group of people who play a game called "Rabbit Doubt" decides to gather and meet each other face-to-face for the first time. During their get-together, they are attacked/drugged. When they wake up, they find themselves in a different place and all are separated in different rooms. As they explore the place, they find that each of them has a barcode on their body that can be used as a key to open a door, yet the barcode can only be used for one room/door. They soon realise that the game that they often play is now a reality. In the game, everyone is a rabbit, yet there is a wolf who is disguised as a rabbit. Each round, they have to guess who the wolf is. If they lose, the wolf will eat all the rabbits. Now, they have to find who is the wolf/liar among them so that they can win the "game" and exit from the place.

Review:
I was interested with the plot of the manga, which resulted in my reading it. Even though at the end, the wolf justifies his/her reason for killing everyone else, it still doesn't make much sense to me. Then again, psychopaths are psychopaths. //shrug

Doubt é basicamente Among us misturado com Jogos mortais.

The twist… wasn’t great. To be fair, neither was the twist in Secrets. It seems like the author sets up one thing, just to pull something completely wild out of their ass at the end. And don’t get me wrong, that’s entertaining for some people, but I find it kind of boring. Mostly because there isn’t a good setup for the twist villains—everything points to another character until ~suddenly~ the villain is revealed, with tons of information we weren’t given to intentionally keep us from guessing correctly.

With that in mind, my second guess for this one was right; but it wasn’t satisfying to me, personally. :(

Progress is inching as expected...

Again the plotline is oddly reminiscent of the SAW series - down to the bars coming down on the windows of hope. Its fun to see Yoshiki Tonogai play with the elements while switching portions of it to a more localized series of events eg: the gangfight and deaths due to it..

A couple more volumes before its done - so we'll see how this ends :-)

Contrary to what many people are saying, I believe this was a very good successor to the previous volume!

Where the previous volume failed to intrigue me with new ideas (much of the story can be found in things like 999 or Dangan Ronpa), this one was a WILD ride!

Although the plot does get a bit nonsensical at times, it's still a very fun and fast paced read that I would highly suggest!

This one pretty much the same with the first volume, they explore new theory but that's kinda predictable, kinda not much happening here. I'm sorry but I'm not liking this one, but will continue to read, I want to know the ending and I kinda like the art, I like the dark creepy rabbit.
