So now that Kaname & Souichirou are lovers…OMG <3 Director Ogi still wants KAname to play the part of the prostitute that his mother did in the old movie - Souichirou asks him & Kaname’s willing to do it :O - this guy whose investing in the film will give them more money if he gets the ‘goods’ he wants - like sex or what? & he sees Kaname dressed up & wants him but Tachibana shows up instead & he’ll buy him for now but Masato interrupts & I think Kaname overheard & he asks Souichirou to sleep with him - IS HE PLANNING ON HANDING HIMSELF OVER TO KOUDUKI THE INVESTER ASSHOLE?!?! SOUICHIROU FIGURES IT OUT & REFUSES!! GOOD! But KAname says he’ll do it anyway so Souichirou agrees to sleep with humbug doesn’t ultimately - so the 3 brothers come together & try to figure out what to do - they go see the lawyer together who suggests they get a loan by mortgaging the house but for that to happen, one person has to take ownership of the house - so they do that & are able to pay Kouduki the money HAHA & the dancing scene with Kaname as the prostitute goes beautifullly but one part is unscripted & the set breaks & fire starts & it’s everything Ogi wanted!! & Kouduki takes care of the mortgage loan & gives it all back to them WTF

Hirotaka Kisaragi has a great gift: he knows how to draw beautiful men - and keep them manly. These men you wouldn't mistake for girls. When Kaname is dressed as a woman, in a kimono and all the female trappings, he's still recognizable as a man. This manga is worth buying for the art alone. The story is properly angsty - it is Hirotaka Kisaragi, after all - but it does have a happy ending.
If I understand it correctly, this is the last volume of the first part of "BrotherxBrother". I don't know if/when the series will be continued, but if it is, I'll be there to buy it!
Souichirou convinces Kaname to recreate his mother's famous role in the movie he's filming. A new investor shows up promising financing if he can buy anyone he wants, and of course he wants Kaname. This was a strange turn, the brother's mortgage the house to raise money for the movie so Kaname wouldn't have to sleep with the investor. Not much time spent on the developing relationship between Souichirou and Kaname. Kaname uses sex as a band aid to cover up his problems and I think that's worth exploring more.
Well, I’m still reading. And I’m this far, so I’m positive I will also be reading the next and last book in this series. Artwork is still fantastic. Not that there hasn’t been before, but there is some rough sex scenes here. I feel the story could have been handled a little better overall, but I’m still flipping pages.
I love this series, if only because of the wonderful amount of angst it has. It's all ~very dramatic~ but it's never too much, at least not for me, and there's always some light humor and cuteness to balance it out. And the art continues to be really, really beautiful.
