Vacationing alone in Gatlinburg, Jason Tyler meets photographer Matt, and finds out they have a lot in common, including a plethora of first names. Their physical attraction is strong enough that soon they're on a first-first name basis, and their growing friendship is an added bonus.
Jason and Matt find out that they live near one another in their everyday lives, but they're not sure their need for each other will go beyond holiday happiness. Jason thinks Matt is worth the trouble, but Matt's still getting over a lost love. Will they manage to find each other once their vacation ends?
Feeling like a jerk here, only giving it two stars but it was way too sweet for me. I thought I was going to drown in sugar before it ended. I had a hard time with the oversharing. The characters said all the sticky sweet things to each other and then they explained them. I’m sure some of you more romantic people out there will like it but it really wasn’t for me.
This is a first for me. Don’t judge Bubbles but this one was Too cute for me. Everything was too perfect and they way they sweet talked each other was too sappy for me.
While the book is relatively short at just about 30 pages it was a sweet and sexy story and I really enjoyed it. Matt and Jason are well written characters and there is a feeling of rightness to their story, as they go from strangers to becoming friends and lovers. The story focuses on just the first few days after their initial meeting but it's easy to see that they are building a foundation to a relationship that could go the distance.
Ms Miles has a unique style, especially in her dialogue, that is refreshing and real and her books are always a pleasure to read.
A short sweet story. Nice premise - the meet cute, the shared 'interests', the traumatic history, the instant lust. I found the dialogue a bit 'tell not feel' in places and it was all very sugary sweet - nice for a short read
