Fantasy World Mob Boss
After my parents were murdered, I thought the most difficult things in my near future were to find their killer and take over my father’s gang.
Well, I found the killer, but then the FBI had to get in the way.
While running from the feds, I ended up falling through this portal and into another world with crazy creatures, monster-people, and magic.
But there are things I’m familiar with. Like corruption. Like organized crime. Like beautiful women.
And I think I could do pretty well for myself in this new world.

A weak setting with a poorly designed MC.
He is meant to be an anti hero but it doesn't work. The first scene is meant to set up a ruthless quality that is softened by a moral code. But it is used so generally that he behaves just like a standard hero. The ruthless aspect is just silly at that point, every time it is used it is just ridiculous. The setting is a stretch, the MC is horribly balanced, the whole thing just does not work.

Didn’t match the description
I picked this up because I normally enjoy Logan’s work, and a fantasy mob-building story sounded amazing.
What I got though was a fantasy Holocaust (I wish I were joking). I eventually had to put the book down 2/3 through.

Entertaining Read
Ryan is a reluctant mob boss. His parents were killed and it is his and his crew's job to take revenge. The FBI gets in the way of their other plans. Escaping, Ryan runs through a portal to another world. And what a world! The women are drop dead gorgeous. However, the beautiful Phoe are treated as the scum of the earth. Ryan does not like this! Protection, murder, and just plain beat downs ensure. I like the action, humor, lust/love, and protection of the down trodden. I look forward to the next book.

I loved this book
I have been a fan of your stories and I am glad you chose this story. I enjoyed the main character and found his back story interesting and reminded me the Ganges of new York with an updated feel. The new world is fun and I enjoyed th change up on race behavior and appearance. I look forward to finding out what you have I before for book 2. Thanks again for your hard work

Fun and intriguing to read
An unusual premise and origin for the main character and a strange but fascinating fantasy world where things aren't what they seem.
Throw in a magic portal, gorgeous warrior women and a magical conspiracy and you get a fun and exciting read!

Excellent read
Definitely an interesting take on the human male goes to fantasy world with non humans. Now make him a mob boss with human weapons and zero hesitation and you have a great book. Well written characters with graphic kills and you have this book. Definitely want to see what happens next.

Really enjoyed it
Enjoyed the new world with some interesting takes on fantasy races. Want to see more of the world and the history that wad hidden away. The Mc was a good character. Looking forward to the next book.

A job well done
This was a awesome new book from the author, the MC coming from the somewhat grey area between good and bad really made for a fun read! I eagerly await the next entry in this adventure!

Alright new series
The writing felt a little flat in places and the twist villain was obvious from a while away, but I appreciate it trying to do something new, hopefully book 2 is better

I'm very interested in this series and I'm excited to see where this goes. In starting the series I didn't know what to think. By the end this seemed like a book series I didn't know I needed. I can't wait until book two.

Just another fantasy isekai where the MC has Guns so now their OP. Other reviews state it better but it's just a lackluster harem fantasy that relies on a single premise but doesn't even utilize it very well.
