Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.

He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.

He is a recipient the Tezuka Award for manga.

The dynamic between Kira and Shinobu is so weird. It makes me uncomfortable. That's probably the point. It's a relationship I really struggle to understand. Kira is utterly contemptible, while Shinobu is just a selfish person. Both of them end up falling in love, marking the first time either has felt love in their lives. And every display of affection between these unlikable people just grosses me out. It's so good at getting under my skin in a way I can't really articulate. The same goes for that freaky cat flower. The whole dynamic is this gross, toxic mess.

Which gets me 100% behind poor little Hayato's attempts to figure out what's going on. This kid did not ask for any of this. He's been dealt such a cruel hand his whole life. And you're just dying to see him find a way to scrape by before the cold war between him and Kira erupts.

El final de la pelea contra Highway Star me gustó más que el nudo, y me puso contento que cerraran esa "pelea" de una buena vez. Los capítulos del gato-planta me resultaron más bien pavotes y quizás innecesarios pero entretenidos, ya que por suerte acá no lo estira nada. El primer capítulo de "El hombre en la torre" (y último del tomo) me generó lo que me tenía que generar: intriga.

Nuevamente de este punto en adelante todas las reseñas de Jojos llegarán a ser muy similares, debido a que los maratonee.

Siendo ya un avance en la historia me llega la idea de como puede guiarse la misma.

El personaje de Josuke me parece un gran personaje, el como se desenvuelve, y como a pesar de ser bastante perfecto, me parece muy humano, Jotaro a pesar de no ser mi Jojo favorito hasta el momento, me parece mejor como un personaje de apoyo.

Los personajes de apoyo como Rohan, Koichi, y Okuyasu me parecen muy agradables, siento que esta es de las partes con grandes y buenos personajes secundarios.

El villano Kira, me parece algo a lo que si debes de temer, muy frio y muy perfeccionista.

Me gusta mucho el amigo extraterrestre, Mikitaka, y no tengo problema que Josuke sea quién termine peleando en casi todos los combates, pero dejar un stand como The Hand tan relegado es un poco frustrante. Siento que hay muchas peleas que podría aprovechar más el lado estratégico del stand, pero no se hace para no agilizar la pelea. Y en este volumen, siempre apoyado con mucho entusiasmo lo bizarro, me quedó al debe las peleas con tanto concepto. Además, no se sinceramente que tanto pueden aportar estas peleas mas que a la experiencia del manga.

It was an interesting volume since the part of the cat up until the very end, yet I somehow didn't enjoy the last chapter as much. Perhaps the next volume will make the tower story more exciting.

3.5/5 Ugghhh! Just when the last one picked up, this one went into “extra cheesy” mode out of nowhere. A cat and a plant are stand users? Gtfo lol. At least near the end it picked up a bit.

草になった猫が、猫の性格のままなのが可愛いし、パート４のラスボス的存在の吉良吉影が猫草に翻弄されてるのもよい。
猫草、私も欲しいなぁ。可愛い。猫砂とか猫の爪とぎとか心配しないで可愛がれるなんて、なんてお得なの。
