I really like Hayato. That kid's smart.

As I said before, I don't care about enigma boy.
The escalation with Hayato and Kira finally hits a boiling point. The chapter in the bath is probably the most uncomfortable I've ever been reading manga. A lot of it probably has to do with cultural differences in bathing norms, but it's a heart-pounding scene nonetheless.
It's chilling how matter-of-factly Kira goes about murdering couples, holding on to severed hands, and assaulting a child in the bath. Diamond is Unbreakable is full of characters acting in their nature and going about their normal lives. These characters just so happen to have superpowered ghosts that enhance their day to day life. And with Kira, it just so happens that his natural inclination is to be a cold blooded killer.
Cheap Trick is one of the more enjoyable encounters in this bout of padded out conflicts. It works pretty well as a last hurrah before we dive headlong into the climax. The way Rohan secrues the win was a particularly high point. I think what saves it from feeling stale is that it serves as a chance for Rohan to take the spotlight. Conflicts in Jojo tend to be pretty thoughtful, but Rohan might be the most cerebral character yet. I can see why Araki has chosen this guy to star in so many one-shot stories. I would have enjoyed seeing him pop up more in the main story.
But also, Dirty Trick is just a fun little story. It's amusing to see someone as prideful as Rohan be forced to awkward scuttle around, keeping his back concealed. And that's a fun gimmick in its own right.
Something else I love Koichi as this powerful ally. He's had a super satisfying arc- moreso than any Joestar. He's really come out of this story as a mature, reliable figure who has his shit together. I love it. The characters in part 4 totally steal the show. One of my favorite cast of characters in any story.

Not the best in the series and not the best series in the series (it only makes sense if you know this manga) but still more interesting than most shounen manga. A few years ago, I only had a few books to read to finish this Diamond is Unbreakable part (the Josuke generation) but I did not find in me to get over with it. All in all, after Stardust Crusaders, Josuke's adventures had been a big disappointment for me, even if it got better at some point. Even if I came to understand that this part is more about parody, comedy and horror, I still miss the battling epicness of Jotaro's generation. Well, at least, it is clever and we got to meet the unique character of Rohan. Only two volumes to go.

Este tomo cierra los capítulos de "Enigma" dignamente (o sea, con el mismo nivel de inverosimilitud); mete un tenso puente con "Mi papá no es mi papá", que también da título al tomo; y cierra con el más interesante (y también algo rebuscado) "Cheap Trick", o sea "truco barato", aplicable a la resolución. Divertido pero no a la altura de los mejores tomos. Espero no volver a colgarme meses de nuevo con la serie, que en dos tomos ya termino la cuarta parte.

Nuevamente de este punto en adelante todas las reseñas de Jojos llegarán a ser muy similares, debido a que los maratonee.
Siendo ya un avance en la historia me llega la idea de como puede guiarse la misma.
El personaje de Josuke me parece un gran personaje, el como se desenvuelve, y como a pesar de ser bastante perfecto, me parece muy humano, Jotaro a pesar de no ser mi Jojo favorito hasta el momento, me parece mejor como un personaje de apoyo.
Los personajes de apoyo como Rohan, Koichi, y Okuyasu me parecen muy agradables, siento que esta es de las partes con grandes y buenos personajes secundarios.
El villano Kira, me parece algo a lo que si debes de temer, muy frio y muy perfeccionista.

41-42で敵役だったチンピラが主役をサラッとかっこよく賢く助けてるのがいい。
それと、NHK実写ドラマ化された岸辺露伴シリーズで一番気に入ったエピソードが収録されてるのも良い。(勿論、ドラマでは康一登場しないし、背中を見せたく無い人が家に来た理由は仗助とのあれこれで火事になったのを修復する為だったのも違うし、背中を見られた人がドラマではたふぁ救急車で運ばれていったけどここでは血を噴き出して干からびて死んでるし、「振り向いてはいけない場所」は吉良吉影が過去に犯した殺人現場付近のポストじゃなかったけど、あとはほぼ同じ)
けれど、吉良吉影と少年が浴室で裸で色々やりあうのは読んでいてとても居心地が悪かった。
...まぁ、時代と文化の違いか...

La parte del padre psicópata es increíblemente buena, por lo que la segunda parte opaca demasiado todas las emociones que me generaron ese momento. No es mala la batalla del stand que se pega en la espalda, pero es un nivel muy inferior a lo otro. La escena del baño del hijo y padre es tétrica a cagar, y si bien Dio es un excelente villano, este psycokiller no se queda atrás.

look at you go yuya! good for you king. bro kira is a FREAK. like i know i have said it a lot but he creeps me out on so many levels.... but damn is he so interesting. little boy saw him MURDER so i am a bit worried about his safety moving forward. also cheap tricks was ... whatever. AT LEAST IT HAD ROHAN SENEIIIIIIIII MY KING MY GLORIOUS KING

After finishing the Enigma boy arc, Hayato's story and how he started noticing how different his farther is, took place. The kid seems interesting. Hopefully he is not digging his own grave with his detective acts! However, the Cheap Trick is actually the best arc up to now.

3.5/5 Part 4 is suffering the curse of part 3. Where it is just battle after battle with no plot advancement and there are only 2 volumes left!

Un volume original et intéressant. Araki aimé vraiment beaucoup le personnage de Rohan vu comme il l'utilise tout le temps !
