Rancher Catie Wilds loves men, can't get enough sex, likes experimentation, and enjoys indulging in a bit of voyeurism. The only thing she doesn't like is the idea of commitment. After growing up in a broken family and witnessing too many failed marriages, Catie knows a permanent relationship is not for her. Besides, she's having too much damn fun. Sheriff Jarrod Savage has been called to investigate a rash of cattle rustling in the southeastern corner of Cochise County. But one night when he goes into the field to do a little observation, he comes across a sensual young woman who's doing some investigating of her own. It isn't long before Jarrod decides to tame this wildcat and make her his...for keeps.

Cheyenne McCray fell in love with reading and writing early, deciding in kindergarten that one day she would become an author. Today, she is an award-winning New York Times and USA Today bestselling fiction author who’s sold millions of books worldwide. Having published more than 100 novels and novellas in contemporary and paranormal romance, urban fantasy and romantic suspense, she is now also writing cozy mysteries as Deb Ries.
Chey grew up on a ranch in southeastern Arizona and delights in creating stories of suspense, love, and redemption with characters and worlds her readers can get lost in. Chey and her equally geeky husband live with their two dogs, six ducks (the neighborhood celebrities), and a small flock of chickens in a small Arizona town where she enjoys gardening, crazy quilting and, of course, writing.
This book is scorching hot. Catie is a rancher who likes a bit of voyerism. She gets caught by Sheriff Jarrod Savage who deceides that Catie is the women for him. While Catie enjoys the sex with Jarrod she does not do longterm relatioships. It's up to Jarrod to convince her. The interaction between H/H was steamy and the characters very likeable. Also had great secondary characters. Can't wait to read the next book in the Wild series.
I liked this one better than the first! This one is super- duper hot with a heroine that knows what she wants and goes for it. There is alot of great sex between the H/H and a little voyeuristic action as well. Definitely will read the next book in the series! ;D
This one was better than the first...we finally not only see Catie get herself a man but we also see who was really behind the rustling. I had my suspicions and I was right with at lease one. I really like that at the end we get a glimpse at the next book...reading about what's coming with Trace and Jess has me amped up to read the next book. I recommend reading this series especially if you like Cowboys.
After reading "Wildfire"I knew just what to expect from this & it lived up to expectations! The storyline, once again, was a little thin on the ground but I like the way the two books are connected & end of this there's that little taster of a story involving the ruggedly handsome (aren't they all?) cowboy Jess Lawless.
One last thing ..if this is classed as S-enuous, the E-rotic titles must be XXX rated! Definitely books for the over 18s!
I forgot that I had only given this one 4 stars. I read out of order, which totally throws me off track. As I compare Wildfire and Wildcat though, I'm not too far off. It was second in line and is Cat and Jerrod's story. Cat is Dee's best friend and Jerrod is the new sheriff in town. They still haven't caught the cattle rustlers but suspicion starts to fall on Cat's brother since they are losing less cattle then everyone one else. Cat and Jerrod's story really starts when he busts her watching some other people have sex through a peephole. lol That was pretty funny! If possible, I probably would have given this one a 4.5. The scenes still weren't was fun as Wildfire but I would still highly recommend it for a great cowboy erotica read.
It was ok. I didn't really feel the connection between the H & h. The sex was descriptive but there were no real emotions. The cattle-rustling storyline continued from the first book and the set-up is there for the next one. It was an alright read as part of the series, nothing special but not a wall-banger.
