All Arthur the dog wants is to find his forever home, but no one coming into the pet store seems to want him. He sees someone buy a snake, so he pretends to be a snake. He imitates the various animals in the shop, until his antics draw attention and he finds his happily ever after.
This is a totally heart-warming story about being yourself. Love it!

(Apparently this is also titled Who wants Arthur, but I've only ever seen the just "Arthur" editions).

It always breaks my heart when a pet in a pet shelter is left behind as each animal gets picked out. Thankfully, this book had a happy ending.
