I was a mathematician till 2002. From 2002 I shifted my focus and study to computers and the internet. I in early 2001 very briefly used the internet in Dhiraagu Cyber Cafe'.From May 2002 I began to use the internet and studied and taught myself computing. I used a Dell Pentium 4 computer at home till early 2009. In 2009 I bought my own Lenovo Core 2 Duo computer. Much has happened since then. In early April 2013, I got my first smartphone. It was a Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini. Before that, I bought my first mobile phone in March 2004. I have taught myself a little C, C++, and Java programming. I use most of the WEB 2.0 era social media websites and phone apps. I started to use Facebook around mid-2007. I started to chat in November 2002 in IR I was a mathematician till 2002. I had since than worked briefly for a few days or months in MWSC ( water meter reader in 1998 ) , STELCO ( electrician trainee in 1998 ) , Maldives Urban Development Board ( project officer trainee in 1998 ) , MPL ( supervisor mechanical works in 1998 ) , Dhiraagu ( probationary technician in 1999 ) , MACL ( stores officer trainee in 2000 ) , MIFCO ( junior officer in 2001 ) , Island Aviation Services ( customer services assistant in 2001 ), AIMA Construction Company ( assistant manager administration in 2003 ), MCHE ( procurement officer in 2003 ) , Jausa Holdings Company ( administrative officer in 2004 ) , Wave Line Maldives Pvt Ltd ( administrative officer in 2004 ) , Dharumavantha School ( laboratory assistant from 2008 to 2010 , nearly two full years and the longest job I have been ) , Vanquisher Construction ( purchasing officer in 2011 ).There are some unrelevant jobs in CableNET (technician in 2002), Bright Brothers (admin assistant in 2002), Riyan (project assistant in 2005), Anti Fire (procurement assistant in 2007), and Deneb Pvt Ltd (marketing assistant in 2012).
