Born and bred in Yorkshire (arguably the UK's best county - especially for a good brew), Rebecca Clare Smith has been crafting stories since she could string her first words together. They used to be stories about ponies being rescued, but now the damsels are a bit darker and a bit braver and a bit less... horsey.

Her stories lurch from tales of werewolves and vampires to dystopian futures and now she's discovered romantasy, too.

When she's not writing, she spends her time running after two strong-willed girls and reading them less dark tales than the ones she crafts. After that, if there are any hours left in the day, she can be found in the wilds of her garden with her own next read. ...more
