I'm Knot Ready..., was inspired by single people who struggle with the question, "When will I ever get married?" I have struggled just like so many others to understand and perfect my relationships. I wanted to take the things that I have learned and share them with others to help them prevent and correct some of the things that threaten to keep them single when they don't want to be.

The freedom to tell my story. No one can tell me it is wrong because it is mine. I enjoy the freedom to write as much or as little as I desire on the subject matter. I am proud that I have committed to a project that is now in print. It is an example of something that I accomplished for me, on my own terms.

I start to think of the message that I want to convey. I think of whether or not I have already communicated that message with the current content. If not, that is where I begin. If I am still struggling, I allow myself to take a step back and come back to the keyboard at a later time. I do not force the creativity. I do not want to put out a book that is not the best because I made myself write when it didn't feel right at that time.

I recently read a book by a new author named Jurmane Michaels. His book is called, Peach Orchard. I would go to the town in this book because it represents a peaceful, innocent time. I would enjoy the community and family structure. I appreciate the simplicity of a small town such as the one described in this book.
