PC was born in the Midwest, and grew up being shuttled back-and-forth between Illinois and Oklahoma, which is where she fell in love with Quarter Horses and mythology (at about the same time). After high school, she joined the United States Air Force and began public speaking and writing. After her tour in the USAF, she taught high school for 15 years before retiring to write full time. P.C. Cast answered Haley Perry's question: Im reading Moon Chosen and I ended page 310 to be surprised by the next page being 343. It's missing 33 pages. And there is no obvious sign of missing pages. It just goes from 310 to 343. Also, I saw that the hardcover is supposed to have 608 pages. Mine only has 597. Again, no obvious sign of ripped or cut pages. What's happened? I'm so bummed. Sometimes printer's mistakes are made, which is what this was. All you need do is to take the book back to the store from which you bought it. They should give you a replacement book and return that book to the distributor.

I loved the House of Night Series and it's great that you support the local cat shelter in your novels. There is another cat shelter called Cat Haven. They do wonderful work. Can't wait for the new series that are planned after HON and TONW.
