Author Bio – C. A. Powell

C. A. Powell writes speculative fiction rooted in late-Victorian and Edwardian Britain. His work includes a series of science-fiction pastiches set in an alternative 1898, exploring the aftermath of the Martian invasion described in H. G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds.

Drawing on the language and atmosphere of the period, these novels examine suppressed histories, scientific unease, and the lingering consequences of events that official records prefer to forget.
