Elizabeth Bryer is a writer and translator who divides her time between Birraranga/Melbourne, on the sovereign lands of the Wurundjeri people, and Arequipa, Peru. She is the author of From Here On, Monsters, which was co-winner of the Norma K. Hemming Award. She has translated award-winning books by María José Ferrada, Aleksandra Lun, Claudia Salazar Jiménez, José Luis de Juan and Eduardo Sangarcía, and was awarded the 2025 NSW Premier's Translation Prize. Her second work of fiction, The Young Geriatric, will be published in late 2026.
