"A book with soul.
I was an original Northern Soul boy. I used to collect rare soul records and sell and trade them with other enthusiasts. Most of the artists were not well known, only to us die hard fans. We would dance all night to these wonderful " Read more of this review » |

"Again, Benjamin Myers absolutely blows me away with the brilliance of his writing. And once again, I have to state that IMO he is the best modern male writer.

I am really excited that I have discovered Benjamin Myers. Now if I can only find a way to buy his books so that he gets paid! Beastings is on Amazon, but Turning Blur and Pig Iron are only available through used book dealers. I hope Bluemoose Booke still has copies for sale.
