Arthur Liu is the name he uses for his English language publications.

His Chinese language fiction work is published using the pen name 杨枫 (Yang Feng), not to be confused with the similarly named editor/CEO of 8 Light Minutes Culture.

His Chinese language non-fiction writing uses the pen name HeavenDuke (天爵).
