As a teenager, I gobbled up every Harlequin romance I could find at my local library (thank goodness for the bookmobile). In high school I read Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, and Jane Eyre, and “just like that” I was in love. Then I discovered the wonder of Kathleen Woodiwiss at my high school library which only added flame to the “flowering” of my love of romance.

My background is in journalism with an emphasis on film/TV and publishing. Over the years I have worn many hats including four years as a movie critic for CBC Radio (Ottawa, Canada); co-producing and directing/writing “Who’s Afraid of Happy Endings?” a documentary about romance writers (GAPC Entertainment/BRAVO!
