Vickey comes from a background that forced her to "forge her own way." What everybody around her told her she could not do, she made sure to prove otherwise.

Within her stories you will find some tips on how to find listings , keep clients , cut some clients loose, at least recognize if it's better to lose this listing than to lose your head. Excellent examples of how to interact with people
I will be honest and say that when I first started reading this book, the author and her story got on my nerves, but her approach to life quickly grew on me. The book is basically one example after another of how she approached a difficult situation and turned it around, not only ending in a positive outcome but doing it in a way that made the other person glad to help, and even to feel like a hero for helping her. I have zero interest in getting into real estate or sales or recruiting, but I got a lot out of reading about how to interact with people in a positive, kind, and gracious way. The world would be a nicer place if more of us were like Vickey!

Every Move Matters: Unlocking Value in Life and Real Estate by Vickey Barron is a mix of autobiography and real estate book. It has useful tips on that area of business and also from a positive perspective, it offers life advice based on the own experiences of the author.
It is really enjoyable and even funny on many occasions. This book can be useful for a real estate agent but, in my opinion, it is much more of an inspirational style. I think it is aimed at young people who want to read an inspiring life story.

I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway . It would not be a book I would normally seek out. It has very little to do with real estate and more about the power of positivity and a fresh approach to negotiation . It really shows the power of being nice to our fellow humans and how no two people approach business in the same way . Yes , I would recommend this book to anyone .

Excellent book for anyone in sales, not just real estate, or even if you're just looking for some good advice on approaching life. The ideas are simple and practical but not easy, if that makes sense.
Told through her stories ranging from her years as a teenager all the way through her time in real estate in NYC, the stories are funny, entertaining and insightful. Definitely would recommend this book!
