Luna is headed for trouble. She knows exactly what the men who run motorcycle clubs are capable of—the ruthless violence, the grabs for power, the brutal treatment of women. The one bright spot in her dark world is being held against his will by a rival gang after sacrificing himself for the sake of the club—without saying goodbye first. She needs to bring Bishop home to Defiance, both for the good of the MC and for herself.

Woo hoo! It's getting intense. What's going to happen now? Who is going to be on top? The action is getting intense and the ice stories are becoming increasingly intense. Luna and Bishop are great together, can't wait to see what's next.
I really enjoyed this third foray into the dystopian world of Defiance (and Keller). Salvation picked up where Redemption left off - this time from the point of view of Luna. At first I was unsure - Bishop and Luna? My mind was put at ease almost immediately. As the story unfolds, we are made privy to things that transpired - previously unrevealed backstory to the front burner Mathias and Jessa in book two. We are also introduced to new characters who are not quite what they seem: Keller, Kammy and Declan, who we probably shouldn't like, but we do. Defiance, though not front and center throughout the book, was still a core part of every single thing that occurred. SALVATION. I loved the title. Bishop and Luna, not only each others' Salvation but in so many ways the Salvation of Defiance.
Luna and Bishop remind me of coffee and chocolate. Each is good alone, but so much better together. Loved them coming together, becoming best friends before physically loving each other - even though we see they've been lovers of the heart for awhile now. These two learned to trust each other - joining forces in different ways, supporting and protecting both themselves and Defiance.
Salvation... Bishop and Luna (so good!). A look into Keller (unexpected and enjoyable - I'd like more backstory for him and Kammy; that would be so interesting). A tease into the story of Rebel and his love (IwantIwantIwant) and a visit from my old buddy Mathias (yay!!!). What else could I ask for? Oh yeah. More Rebel. Oh wait, that's #4!!! Loved this... as I've loved all the others. What can I say? Stephanie Tyler/SE Jakes is an auto-read for me. You write it, Ms. Tyler and I will pick it up and devour it without hesitation.
If you haven’t read the first two books in this series yet, I would strongly encourage you to go back and read them before reading Salvation. First, because they’re crack-a-licious. Second, because while this third installment does a good job of filling in the picture on characters introduced two books ago, I think it might not have as much punch if you hadn’t read those books.
For those who have read the first two books, I think you’ll find this a nice ride down memory lane with a few detours to keep it fresh. Salvation provides a look at the post Chaos world from outside the Redemption MC. We see a different side to this world. One in which, instead of huddling together as in the MC, folks are reduced to a hedonistic, live for the moment, and everyone for themselves mentality. We also get more hints about the wider world.
The romance was mystical, but never in doubt. Luna and Bishop make a great couple, but the conflicts that could have come from their backgrounds brought them together instead of tearing them apart. I’m happy for them, of course, but I didn’t get the powerful punch I felt in the earlier books. Instead, I got a side romance between Delcan (Bishop’s ally) and Rebel (Luna’s ally), one that was mostly off screen and implied. It provided a good climax to the story and a chance to bring in the Defiance MC characters.
I liked that with this book we learned more of the world, both pre and post Chaos and what the characters roles were in them.
It was interesting to see how Bishop adapted to Keller's way of life. I was stunned when Luna took off for Keller's compound. I was surprised that she was allowed in and that she was treated so well. I liked that Bishop and Luna had time to work through issues that they had.
It was interesting to see Luna compare life at Keller's to life at Defiance. There were times when she was shocked, that life seemed harsh, but after a bit she realized that Keller did have a method to his madness.
I was a bit surprised by what happened at the end. I liked the results that came of the mini battle. It will be interesting how things will go for the series from here.
The third Defiance book is violent and deadly, but the story of Bishop and Luna finally comes together in a moving and tender way, that totally seems to counteract the violence surrounding them.
Bishop is balancing the need to do what he has to just to survive and the desperate need to keep Luna safe...Luna just knows that she needs to be with Bishop to keep her heart and soul intact.
Add in a unexpected, budding romance on another front and dangerous intrigue among the MC's that pulls everyone into the mix and you have a fun, fast read that satisfies.
Ahh!! I hated that it was over!! Now I am gong through withdrawls! This is one of those series I have to read!! I love it & cannot wait for the next one!!
I usually don't do dystopian books, but this was amazing... A huge storm came through & killed the world... just wiped out most of it! Now people have built cities of refuge under ground. The sun comes out only rarely & several people want to take over main rule. Gov't is bad etc....
Luna runs after Bishop & ends up stuck with him as he pays a debt on behalf of his best friend. Both of them are damaged, but want each other...
The restless feeling is back. Luna has not felt right since Bishop left Defiance to offer himself in a payoff for his best friend and the safety of his MC, but without ever saying goodbye to her. No longer able to sit around waiting for things to happen around her, Luna takes matters into her own hands, and sneaks off, unprotected, to find Bishop and bring him back.
The past few months in Keller's compound have been anything but easy on Bishop. Sure, as one of the top fighters, he was treated with all kinds of perks, but it was the added obligations to Keller that were slowly eating away at him. When Luna suddenly showed up at the compound, he was equal parts infuriated she had left safety behind, and elated he finally had her close to him.
Without any hesitation, and for both their protection, Bishop immediately claims Luna his old lady, realizing that Keller would not be letting her just walk out again. Faced with serving out Bishop's commitment along side him, Luna does her best to carve out a place of her own in this new and unsettled world. But things are not at all as they seem on the surface and soon Bishop and Luna are faced with decisions on a larger scale than they would have ever imagined.
****
I think out of all three Defiance books, this is my favorite to date!!
In SALVATION, Stephanie Tyler manages to capture a temporary post-Chaos social structure, that seems to have formed, but is far from stable. Just under the surface is a constant shifting and positioning of strength, resources and power, that simply has not had time yet to firmly root itself, leaving the illusionary structures above-ground, mere stop-gap measures to subdue the masses and prevent total anarchy.
The delicate balance is in constant flux and people need to learn to let go of preconceived ideas and deep rooted beliefs, in order to create a workable future for everyone. The characters Stephanie Tyler created turn out to be potentially pivotal in that future.
Bishop has always been very clear on who he was and what he wanted and needed. There are no real guessing games when it comes to Bishop and he really doesn't make any excuses either. He knows the why and the how of who he is. He could have, but never wanted to force himself on Luna, preferring to wait for her to be able to accept all of him, just like he knew and accepted all of her right of the bat.
Luna was less self aware or secure. The people who should have protected her didn't when she was at her most vulnerable and that scarred her. She then was dinged a few more times by people she let close, who proceeded to abandon her, and she ended up simply shutting herself off. Except for the one person who always had her back, but he was safe. And then came Bishop and she recognized something in him from the first moment, it just took her a while to open herself up and accept it for the gift it was.
Two damaged individuals, grown strong on their own, formidable together once completely committed.
Fabulous writing by Stephanie Tyler, whose dystopian world is becoming more compelling and tangible with each book.
Third book in the Defiance series and a welcome return to this dystopian future where storms and natural disasters have changed the landscape forever. Government as we know it struggles to function and the military are not as in control as would be expected. In this alternative future motorcycle clubs (MCs) dominate the world that's left and might is most definitely right! Luna has spent her life in the world of MCs and knew pain even before Chaos happened. Feeling trapped her only escape had been her work as a mechanic for Defiance MC but that all changed the day Bishop decided to join their club. He may not have said with words but his actions let Luna believe that maybe just maybe he saw the real her but now he's gone and Luna can't imagine a life without him somehow in it . Bishop killed Kellers son and the former Mafia boss has Bishop in his compound as a fighter. It's an arrangement meant to last for one year but the way things are going Bishop may not survive that long. Old rivalries put lives in danger but when Luna turns up at Kellers it's all Bishop can do to keep his hands to himself. Keller is a wily one though and has secrets that Bishop needs to discover to help his friends back at Defiance . It seems claiming Luna as his own is the only way to keep her safe then so that's what Bishop will do. It's no hardship as all he really wants is Luna in his arms willingly but the events of her past continue to haunt her and their enemies are closing in and Bishop and Luna may not survive the next chaotic event! Bishop is a hero who in the last book Redemption really caught my interest. He's best friends with the mute soldier Mathias but will do anything to protect those he cares about . Forged from steel he's a young man with pain inside and yet he won't reveal it to anyone . Enter Luna the heroine who has spent the last couple of years pretending to be something that she's not. Her walls may be built high but Bishop is the one man who can send them crashing down. It's a solidly built world that these MCs inhabit and it's possible to imagine the events that this author describes so vividly . There seems to be quite a lot of similar books written around this theme at the moment but Ms Tyler has a knack for bringing her stories to life which others often struggle to emulate. These damaged characters are compelling and truly captured my interest as they try to survive in what's now an inhospitable world. Power and corruption dominate the story and yet Bishop at times seems untouchable. He is written as a man who acts like a machine and yet this is a guy with a conscience. When he is with Luna it's as if all his hopes and dreams may come true and unfortunately all he can hope for is to keep her safe! A very surprising twist at the end and I loved the peripheral characters who helped to save the day. Is it a romance ? Well yes and there's sex but it's more of a journey for two souls towards redemption. This book is aimed at NA readers as the leads are young but a good story can and should be enjoyed by everyone. This author writes stories that suck you in and don't let go until they have wrung your emotions dry. If strong sexy characters appeal then you will love those in the Defiance MC!
Keller's mafia has thrived in the fallout from the Chaos and their compound is a city of sin, a world of depraved excess where people live in fear with nowhere else to go. When Luna is taken prisoner, Bishop has no choice but to lie. As far as the enemy knows, she's his. It's the one thing that will keep her safe.
Caught off guard, Luna follows Bishop's lead. And that's where the lines begin to blur, because what's been building between them for real is undeniable. But what Keller's protecting is something he'll kill to keep under wraps and with Defiance unable to come to their rescue, and only each other to turn to, Luna and Bishop may be facing their final goodbye.
Thoughts: I am not going to lie to you this series is on of my crack series. I love the world that Tyler has created, the characters, okay I love everything about it.
When we last left the world of Defiance Bishop had left it to go to another gang in exchange for his best friend Mathias. He knows exactly what he is doing and the consequences that will follow.
Luna has been an enigma for me from the start. I was never really sure what was going on in her mind and why she did the things she did. As we get to know Luna however we discover that there is a lot going on in her mind and she's reached her breaking point. Which is why she does something no sane person would. She goes out on own and straight to Bishop at Keller's compound.
One of the driving forces in Luna's life has always been Rebel, and we finally get to see what is going on with him. I have to admit I loved the scenes with Rebel and....nope not going to tell you. I will say that it changes everything and I can't wait for Stephanie to tell his story.
As much as this book was the story between Luna and Bishop I really felt like it was more Luna's story than Bishops and that was fine because as we've seen from the beginning Bishop has no doubts about who he is, what he is and what he wants from life. He just had to wait for Luna to figure it all out.
There is a lot that happens in this book, more so than in the other books in regards to what is happening in their world now and how they have to forget about the past and build a new future. The Defiance gang was already aware of somethings thanks to Jess (book 2) and this book takes that knowledge and builds on it.
If you haven't yet picked up this series, than I highly recommend that you change that. This is one of the best dystopian series being written today.
Salvation (Defiance MC #3) By: Stephanie Tyler 5/5 stars
This book starts with a prologue of Luna’s that lets the reader know some of her background and why things that have happened at the Defiance compound have affected her in such a manner that they have. It also lets us know about how she and Bishop first met and of her non-relationship relationship with Bishop and that the only reason they haven’t become a couple, is that she has pushed him away.
Then it picks up where book 2, Redemption, ended. Bishop has gone to Keller’s compound to take Mathias’ place for a year’s worth of service and Luna, finally deciding that she can no longer deny her true feelings towards Bishop and no longer wants to live without him by her side, has driven to Keller’s compound. Only once she gets there, does she realize that Keller’s compound is like the Eagles’ Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can’t ever leave. She will have to serve out the remainder of Bishop’s year-long agreement with him on Keller’s compound.
In the four months that Bishop has been at Keller’s compound, he’s learned quite a bit of information, how things are run, how to stay relatively safe and on Keller’s good side. But he’s also not let himself get seduced by all the hype and grand things that Keller offers. Keller may be a bit on the crazy side, but he’s got a mind for business and is smart, and since he’s also dangerous, all this combined makes him lethal.
Luna starts coming in to her own on Keller’s compound, she’s allowed to work as a mechanic, allowed to live with Bish, since he claimed her and has guards to protect her since she belongs to Bishop. She realizes that she has been somewhat seduced by all the grandeur, but she learns that not all things are as they may seem which also allows her to see the reality and truth behind her situation.
One thing that I really liked is that there wasn’t a lot of immaturity, back and forth and pushing away between Luna and Bishop. That happened quite a bit with the main characters of the last two books, and even though it is stated that Luna did this for a year, she doesn’t do it anymore. She may not want to out and out admit to everything, but she knows the truth because she drove herself to Keller’s compound.
There is drama, danger and violence. All the great things we’ve come to expect from members of Defiance, even though Bishop isn’t actually patched in and this book takes place on Keller’s compound instead of Defiance’s. We still get to see some of Mathias, Rebel, Casper & Tru but not as much as the previous books. I’m thinking and hoping there will be a book for Rebel since there is the possibility of him being with his mate, but there wasn’t an epilogue that gave us and teasers or details.
After just finishing this book I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to write. This book was amazing and wonderful and I'm still going over in my head where this series could go from here. I loved the ending to the story of Luna and Bishop and I feel satisfied with how this installment ending but I'm raking my mind trying to figure out who the next book will be about. I hate to say it buy I kind of want a book about Keller but I don't really know if I could picture Kammy as the h. I just didn't really feel a connection to her as I did with Keller.
This book starts off with one bad a#$ girl going after the man she loves. She doesn't let anything stop her and keeps her head up knowing that when she gets there he might not even want her anymore. She knows that Bishop has been with other women and doesn't let that stop her from going in and kicking some tail and winning back her man. I love how Stephanie makes her female characters so strong but I love even more the love that she relays between her characters whether as love interests or as friends and family. The bonds that she creates makes the world after Chaos so believable that you almost want to go there and meet these crazy people.
Bishop was probably so far my favorite H. His love for Luna was never ending and he made sure that she always knew that he wasn't going to give up on her. From the first book till this one he remained constant and stead fast in his pursuit of her even when he had to leave he still loved her. I love alpha males like this that know what they want and aren't afraid to show their emotions. To me that is what makes a truly strong man.
I loved the multiple POV's. Not just Luna and Bishop but also Mathias and Rebel's POV. This really made the book more interesting and more complex. Declan was also a character that was introduced in this book and I really liked how forward and honest he was. I really would like to see him as a main character in an upcoming book.
Overall this book sucked me in and I'm going to be counting down the days until the next installment of this series. Please don't make us wait to long!!!
This is the story of the Post-Apocalypse and the life that comes after the devastation. It is a place of violence and uncertainty for women living alone without protection. Luna is such a woman that is fighting to find a way out and a place of refuge where she can live without fear in this Post-Chaos world. Luna had a feeling that things were about to get a lot worse than they were. When she saw one of her best friends being forced back into the compound she knew it did not bode well for what was about to happen. She had similar feelings before the Chaos had hit and the storms that hit had changed the world.
Luna was under the protection of Rebel but she wanted more. So when Bishop appeared in her life she was unable to deny the feelings that he evoked inside her and she let herself go for that one night. But when he comes to see her the next day she tries to put distance between them. Luna is happy for the first time and it has everything to do with Bishop so when he leaves without saying goodbye she follows him to another MC Compound to get him back.
Only the Bishop she finds is different, harder not the same. The connection is still there and he claims her as his old lady to keep her safe and with him. He knows that they will never be allowed to leave and that she will be used against him to get him to do whatever they want. Right now it is to fight. Luna came for Bishop to take him back but had no idea what she was walking into. Can they escape? Does Bishop want to leave and return with her? Will they both be able to admit the need they have for each other and survive the hell of the Post-Chaos World?
The third book in the Defiance series is a thrilling romance that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. The one bright spot in Luna’s world is being held against his will by a rival gang and she’s going to get him back. When she’s taken prisoner, Bishop has no choice but to lie and claim her as his, only what’s been building between them is real and undeniable. But they may be facing their final goodbye because Keller is keeping something under wraps and Defiance is unable to come to their rescue.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers trembling in anticipation with suspense, action and romance. The author brings this post apocalyptic motorcycle club world to life with well written scenes which inspire vivid images that capture the imagination and makes it easy for the reader to pictures as it is happening. The tension building drama and action scenes are exciting and believable and the strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.
The chemistry between Bishop and Luna radiates from every page and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but the relationship builds slowly because of the situation they are in and because the tough give ‘em hell Bishop recognizes that Luna needs time to get over her past, so he lets her take charge of how fast they move forward, which sends hearts a fluttering and underwear to melting.
The author has created a fantastic and intriguing world with lots of captivating characters, plenty of excitement and drama and surprises that the author doesn’t see coming. I was completely engrossed in the story from the very beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one and discover what happens next in this post apocalyptic world.
Good gravy, these poor characters are messed up. In a good way. Because if they weren't tough enough to have survived their messy pasts, I don't think they'd be fitting in quite as well in this post-Chaos world.
Bishop's sacrifice for Matthias at the end of book 2 KILLED ME. Seeing him counting down the days until his contract runs out while trying to keep himself from falling in too deeply with Keller and his crew was tough. Knowing he was doing what he was doing to keep his best friend from this life was the clincher. Yep, I like Bishop. He's tough, he needs violence, and he's fiercely protective of those he considers his.
Which brings us to Luna. She's not really reckless, but she has no idea what she's getting herself into when she follows Bishop. She's hurting and desperate and she runs to the one guy who makes her feel safe. Well, not the one. She has her BFF who protects her, but Bishop is the one she's been drawn to from the first moment she laid eyes on him. Those two are so darn cute together. All heat and steam and feelings.
These Defiance folk are prickly and tough, but they love hard. In more ways than one. Bishop and Luna might not be *in* Defiance, but they're still a part of it.
Frankly, I like how gritty this series is and I'm looking forward to anything I can get my hands on in it.
Bishop is working for the Irish mafia as a fighter and hit man, having traded himself to them for his best friend. He left the Defiance MC without really saying goodbye to Luna, and she is peeved. So peeved that she drives herself to Keller's world, though it's a treacherous journey. Just like most of the men in this series, Bishop is stoic and secretive, but he does have a thing for Luna.
The book moves their love story forward and also moves the dystopic story along as well. The sun only comes out every once in a while, but Keller, with his money, provides a world for those around him to enjoy. Part of that enjoyment is Bishop fighting, fighting, and doing more fighting. And Luna is not happy.
I enjoyed this book more than the last one in the series. Bishop and Luna, both of who were abused as kids, really belong together, and their give and take to be together is well done.
I'm still having trouble with this series, though, about the ages of the characters. They act older (is that because of the dystopia? ), but they're in their early 20s. Just a juxtaposition that isn't working for me. Worth a reading, though.
Note: even with the cool biker covers for this series, don't expect a lot of riding. In this book, the only main-ish character that rides a motorcycle is Rebel, and he's in his car most of the time.
The Defiance series is truly unique! One can literally visualize the rough leather, Mad Max, Beyond Thunder Dome, bad ass biker Bishop. His tender loving spirit is what all women craves. Yet when playing for keeps, fighting for survival or his brotherhood, the man is a force to be reckon with. An unstoppable Sherman tank, that will kick ass and take names! The apocalypse world Stephanie Tyler describes, is completely realistic, draws you in from first page. The LoV's ahhhh... can somebody freaking exterminate them already. I mean they are such a hemorrhoidal pain in the ass. As for the military offering their supportive hand to Defiance and Keller, is like picking up a king cobra. And asking the snake not to bite! Yahhh pretty dumb. Notice I save the best for last; Luna and Rebel. Wow I love those two so much, they have gone through hell and back.
Even though being surprised by Luna's impromptu visit Bishop is a big ole' softie when it comes to his girl, "he sighed. "We're going to talk about that sh** more, Luna. What the eff were you thinking, making this trip alone? Goddamn lucky you're still alive." I loved the honesty that Bishop had with Luna, "he looked up too and they watched each other in the mirror. "Most nights, I jacked off thinking about you. Watching myself calling your name." Sometimes the boy has to shut his girl up the only way he knows how, "I love what you did for me. I love you, Bishop. But if you ever lie to me again..." He shut her up with a kiss, one that vibrated through her entire body. She moaned into his mouth, relief and arousal and if she never had to leave this backseat, she'd be okay." And of course Luna knows how to rev up Bishop's engine, "she crawled up him, straddled him...and lowered herself onto him, taking him fully inside her. He grabbed her hips, held her there and they stared at each other without moving. "Luna, Christ, you're going to kill me." I kinda would like to see a prequel book with Keller and Kammy to see where they starting things off.
This book was pretty original when it came to the plot and setting. A mashup of a MC and apocolyptic world? Hell yes! Salvation was interesting even though it could have been more exciting, because the majority of the book was dull events and nothing super exciting ever happened to our heroine. Luna and Bishop were total cutie pies. I loved the way they met in the beginning and how she didn't realize how much she liked him until he left. And I'd also like to give a small shout out to that one scene where Luna handcuffs Bishop to the bed and things get so steamy that I literally got the best feels. Soooo hot.
Speaking of hot things, DECLAN AND REBEL. Omg, I swooned. They were so wicked and adorable and wow. But back to the point: needs more exciting events. I felt like I was reading a diary, about what a person did their entire day and then it was a new chapter and so on and so forth.
I LOVED the first two books and book 3 SALVATION did not disappoint! After finishing book 2 I had major withdrawals waiting for Bishop & Luna's story, and YAY it's finally here. Although Bishop is lethal, when it comes to Luna he's a big softie. Luna is guarded from a haunted past, and although drawn to Bishop, she pushed him away while he was at Defiance. As they say absence, makes the heart grow fonder, which brings Luna to Keller's camp searching for Bishop. In order to protect her Bishop claims her as his old lady, and she is forced to stay with him for the rest of his time with Keller. Keller is also a bit complex too. I couldn't help but like him a little even though he is the "villain". Rebel's secret was a bit predictable, and I cannot wait for the next book. Hopefully we will get his HEA...
Salvation is the third book in the Defiance series by Stephanie Tyler.
This series is one that will stick with you. I loved the second book in the series although I usually don't start with number two in a series this series just "stuck" with me, so I had to keep reading.
In this book we follow Bishop "Bish" and Luna and the drama increases as the world falls apart.
I love this endearing story and the characters in it. We also see a glimpse or two of Mathias :)
These characters are important to the post apocalyptical world in which they live. This series is unique, has hot men and motorcycles. What more could you want?
In all, this series gets better with every read. I can not wait for more!
I will say this. I was very unsure about Bishop and Luna. I mean, what about Rebel?!?! But don't worry, we get answers there, and it's the best thing ever! I CANNOT WAIT for Rebel's story!! But back to Bishop and Luna. We get a very different view into Keller's compound and what he's all about. You want to hate them; Keller, Kammy and even Declan, but you just can't, for many reasons you'll discover in the book. This was an intense journey for everyone involved and I was happy to take the ride. So happy our friends from Defiance show up too, I mean, I love me some Mathias :) I cannot wait for the next book! REBEL!!!
This was my favorite of all the Defiance books. The character development was sharp, the story-line was better than the previous two, but I still felt it was just missing the mark. The conflict in this one didn't really measure up to all of the buildup throughout the book. It was honestly the only thing I wanted the author to change. The lead male character is hilarious and scary all at the same time, while the female lead makes you just want to shake her for the crap she pulls. Putting the two of them together sets off explosives, literally. Bishop and Luna are smoking hot together!
I was so looking forward to Bishop and Luna's story and Stephanie Tyler did NOT disappoint. This is the third book in the Defiance series and you really need to read them in order because the story builds with each one.
I had an idea of what Rebel's "secret" might be and I'm happy to say it was confirmed in this book. I'm so looking forward to his HEA in the future.
An interesting series that takes on the end of the world as we know it after a major series of storms, all wrapped up in the MC life and loyalty. It is a story of right and wrong, of upheaval and the horrors of a new unsafe world and the devil you know. This is the third book in the series and it is probably my favourite - there is a background relationship between two male characters which I would love to read more about in the future.
more like 3.5 stars I liked it, and it made me want to continue the series, but it was my least favorite of the series so far. I liked the characters, but the story was just so-so. I had trouble really investing myself in this one like I did with the others in the series. That said, I'm waiting impatiently for Declan's story.
Third installment in the Defiance series. I enjoyed it but not quite as much as the previous book. Bishop and Luna were a good match. There just seemed to be a lot of set-up for future books. There's a lot packed into a shorter book (my kindle showed 185 pages). I would have liked a little more of Bishop and Luna. I'll be interested to see where this series is going.
Salvation is a good story, just not as good as the first two Defiance books if you liked the MC parts of the book. Bishop and Luna are a great couple and maybe the most believable couple of the three so far in this series. I'm interested to see where the series goes from here.
I have to be engrossed in a male led power exchange or no power exchange at all in certain genres. A dominant female I cannot relate with. The base story line for this series has always intrigued me and I wish they were written differently
This book was different than the previous books in that the romance and sex was minimal. It was much more about the relationship building and continued world building. I think I've read enough of this series and won't be reading any more.
