This is the penultimate book in the series and I am really looking forward to seeing how this ends for Mac and Matt. There are still some obstacles in the way to a HEA

I was worried about it honestly. Whether or not we could have normal conversation that didn’t revolve around phrases such as “That feels so good.” and “Harder please.”

My knees are shaking slightly and I guarantee you I have an utterly stupid look on my face. Yes, with just a few whispered words and light kisses, Matt has rendered me the village idiot

I do think these books are a bargain at 68 cents. I see the first one is still FREE!!

Mac is finally getting her "more" while Matt tries this relationship thing out. But as soon as these two fall into a easy routine, his ex changes everything. Mac now knows all his secrets and with his change in attitude she has every reason to be concerned.

Matt was so easy going at the start of this, just seeing the shift from the start of this series to this point made you want to bash his ex's head in for ruining him. I have a bad feeling that her returning is going to bring back all his trust issues and that Mac is going to be the one left to suffer.

The writing in this serial is absolutely fantastic. Each installment gives you a taste of the story, a little more each time - but with each one you get a little story within a story. Completely addicting. I could not put this down and had to devour them all without stopping between.

Of course as things are going well for Mac and Matt, where she even gets to meet Gabe. All the progress she's gained starts to fall away with one meeting of Marissa. The ex-wife who fooled around on Matt, made him lose his trust and caused him to believe he can't risk his heart to love again.

Mac my be losing all the ground she gained in that one meeting.

Seriously, where is this story heading? it's just sex, sex and more sex! I was hoping to be presented with more obstacle and DEPTH in the story but zilch... Nada....

Wow! We finally got our hot little hands on the next installment of the Legal Affairs series by Sawyer Bennett. Legal Affairs: Reparation Vol. 5 takes the reader on a new direction in the tumultuous affair between Mac and Matt. It is a direction that readers are going to rejoice in.

In the last installment, Mac laid down the law. Tired of the emotional rollercoaster their relationship has been riding, she feels it’s time to step off and move on to a steadier path. She wants some kind of commitment that involves more than the sexual tyrsts they have been engaging in. She holds her ground and brings Matt to his knees.

Readers are going to fall in love with the redeemed Matt. We will get to see more of his personality, his emotions, and his personal life outside the office. He may be a sexy high powered attorney, but as an ordinary man he is breathtaking. Woowee….this man is hot!

It looks like Mac is going to get everything she desires from Matt. They are moving in a positive direction and building a strong relationship. He has let her in. He has let her meet his very adorable mini me. Everything is going perfectly until….Matt’s past thrust it’s ugly presence. Will Matt be able to do damage control. Will he conquer the past and look to the future? Will he be able to keep Mac? There is a reason why Matt is a high powered attorney. Matt is smart, ruthless, determined, passionate, and he gets what he wants.

We are in the home stretch of the Legal Affairs series. One more installment to go! The wait is agonizing. Sawyer Bennett has waved her magical pen and put the readers under her spell. We have willingly submitted ourselves, become entranced, and beg for more.

Why? It was okay, didn't make me excited though, and I kind of feel like the last book wouldn't be enough for me. I mean, there's still a lot of things that could happen, more drama, more excitement but since this is 2nd to the last...well, I'm a little bit disappointed. This is the reason why I don't really read super short novella's like this, it's too short, doesn't satisfy much although the first book started really good but this one, not much.

haha, i seen the date i first read the book, each has 10 chapters n delivered to u twice a week, starting from Jan to the end of march, total three months.

now i revisit them once in the same day, i start to think it’s not that good if u read them in the same time. M n M are selfish no matter how u paint them, both just thought about their own pleasure, see her behaviour towards Cal n Macy then his.

Matt is a changed man! Watching these two work together and love together is so much fun but watching Mac meet Gabe was an eye opener. Gabe is a mini Matt! But every story has a villain and she shows up and we find out why Matt is like he is. After the ex-wife makes a showing Matt begins to slide back into his old ways...Can he find his way back or will this be the beginning to the end?

In part five of Legal Affairs we find that Matt is trying his best to make a relationship with Makayla work. For Makayla this is what she has dreamed of and wanted with Matt instead of the "just sex" relationship that they shared previously.

For Matt it even though he is trying (and I'll give him that cause he is) in the back of his mind he is afraid of getting hurt again like he did before from his ex-wife who may I say is a bitch.... Yeah she appears in part five unfortunately. Also we get to meet Gabe, Matt's young son who is the Matt's heart.

The other problem that Matt has is the friendship that Makayla has with Cal and Matt wants her to have no part of him friend or not.

Does Makayla make the decision to end her friendship with Cal for Matt? I'm not telling......

Up next the conclusion of Legal Affiars Affirmation which I'm not happy about because I want this to keep going!

First Impression:
I was anxious for this one, because I finally felt like Matt was going to step up.

The story:
In this installment, we actually see Mac and Matt as a legit couple. They're both getting used to the idea that they could be something more than just a fling. Plus, they're learning more about each other. They take the time to listen to each other rather than just hopping into bed. But, Matt's past still haunts him and Mac fears that she may never be able to break through.

The characters:
I still love them both. And even though Matt seems to be a bit stuck in the past, I fully understand why. I loved seeing Matt as a dad. It really softened his character up, a lot. As for Mac, I adored her in this one. I really felt like she was committed to making their relationship work. She understands what makes Matt tick. And I appreciated that she doesn't want to give up on their relationship just yet.

What didn't work for me:
I was a bit disappointed that Matt didn't stand up to Marissa. It seems out of character for him to be manipulated by her. I would have expected him to put up more of a fight to keep Gabe with him for the day.

Overall:
I love this series and I'm anxious to see how it all ends in Affirmation. I certainly know how I want it to end, but I suppose I'll just have to wait and see how Bennett polishes it off. The Legal Affairs Serial comes highly recommended by ME, so if you haven't started it yet, get to it!

He woos, he talks, he changes their patterns, and finally treats Mac like she deserves. When these two are good, they are good. I love their flirty interactions, their smoking hot chemistry, their witty rapport, and the fact that they really do share such common interests. I enjoyed seeing them explore this aspect more.

But Matt's past still haunts him and it is what made him close himself off in the first place. When it rears it's ugly head again, will it bring them closer together or rebuild his walls?

I just can't get enough of Matt and Mac. I really love this serial and I am eagerly awaiting the conclusion (Part 6) Affirmation on March 21.

Mac could not believe the change in Matt and he was changing it all for her. He was giving her the relationship she wanted and deserved. They go out to dinner in public, go for drinks after work and then he invites her to his condo. His rule was that he never ever brought a girl to his home unless he was serious about her. He said he would not involve a girl with his home life because of Gabe unless he was serious ? So was Matt's change of heart because he was opening up his heart to Mac ?

One weekend she feels it is all changing....Matt invites Mac to go to Coney Island....with him and GABE...YES GABE !! Woot Woot ....Matt is breaking down his walls....BUT then Marissa show's up and everything crumbles and the walls that Mac worked so hard to tare down are put right back up in the matter of a few minutes and Mac knows if she doesn't do something fast she will loose Matt all together....

Can Mac do what ever it takes to get Matt to see that all woman are not like Marissa ?? Can she hold on to him after all they have been through to get to where they were before Marissa dragged him down and make him look and feel beaten ??

I received this ARC book for my honest opinion and OMG I wanted to scream No get out of here Marissa you are ruining everything !! I read this installment in 2. 5 hours because I couldn't put it down !! Loved it Sawyer !! .....again !!

Reparation gives us a whole new version of Matt and Mac. Matt is finally ready to be in a relationship. A real one with dateing and normal people stuff. Well apart from crazy sexy interludes and hot love making that we only wish we had! Ok...back on track now. Things seem to be going ok with these two. I think everyone is going to adore this new version of Matt that we get to see. He has finally let Mac in. That is until Matt's past comes up to bite them in the butt. Will Matt and Mac be able to make it past tis bump in the road?

Oh baby, the side of Matt we get to see in this one is super hot. Hard to beleive that the caring and less self indulged Matt would be the hot one. Him and Mac get down in some pretty hot and sexy situations. I mean seriously....Anyway, Matt even introduces Mac to a very special someone in his life. Who is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. Matt and Mac seem to have a budding relationship but, I fear their pasts will be a hard thing to get past. Will they be able to?

I am so loving this series and I can't wait for the next volume!! I need to know how things will end for Matt and Mac. I have high hopes but, we will have to see. I also see some darkness coming, I could be completely wrong but...Anyway, I need the next volume!!!
