Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).
Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.
And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

Rock Chicks Bonus Tracks is a compilation of bonus short stories from the ‘Rock Chick’ books. Some I enjoyed more than others, but overall, I love these characters so much! I loved being back in the rock chick world. I desperately need to re-read my favorites from the gang (especially Vance and Jules) as soon as possible!

LOVED everything about this. all the extra little bits from stories and couples I already adore made me so very smiley. this was a great addition to a series I will forever cherish. who would say no to more words from this group of characters. not me that's for sure!

It's been a long time since I've read a K.A. book. Mostly because at some point they all started to sound the same and I was very much tired of 3 pages describing a house or bedroom and the way these men start conversations from the middle and the women repeating them over and over. But one thing I can give her flowers for is this woman knows how to manage her continuity and connect the dots.
That's why I read this and because these characters will always have a special place in my heart. It was nice catching up and going back at the same time but I dunno what the heck was that with Darius. He finally, finally gets a book and this is the update we get? Do better..
All in all Daisy is still daisy 🌼 and I loved the vulnerability of Marcus here. I never realized he didn't have friends.
That's why I read this and because these characters will always have a special place in my heart. It was nice catching up and going back at the same time but I dunno what the heck was that with Darius. He finally, finally gets a book and this is the update we get? Do better..

I would say that unless you are a rabid Rock Chick fan, this is a pass. I've read them all and these little interludes really don't add anything, IMO.

Turns out I'd already read these, so I didn't need to purchase. The links to the bonus tracks were included in ebooks series, which I'd re-read through this year.
I'd say, if you're a fan of the series and don't have the free links in your e-books, then you probably want this book. But check your ebooks first.
And if you're not a huge fan of the series, you won't miss anything major from these short epilogues, so there's that.

First, I must say that Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick series is one of my OG fave series. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve read it. I even named my dog Indy, after Indy Savage, the FMC from book one. That’s how much I love the series and the characters.
Kristen wrote the majority of the Rock Chick books from the FMC’s POV, so when she brought out the collector's editions with a bonus chapter at the end from the MMC’s POV, I was all over it. Especially Lee Nightmare from book one. *swoon*
This was such a cool concept, made even cooler when she collated all the bonus chapters and made this book for those without the collector's editions.
I sprinted through these chapters and ate up every word the men said and thought. It felt like going home, back to places so familiar that I couldn’t help but smile, especially during Boo’s half chapter in chapter four: Rock Chick Renegade. You can tell she’s a cat person as she nailed it.
If you love the Rock Chicks, this is essential for your collection. It's just perfection.

So I've been a fan of the Rock Chick series for YEARS. I was still in highschool when I first read it and since then I re-read it again and again because I got attached to all characters.
This series also made me a KA fan so I read other books from her. Some I did like, some I didn't mostly because they became repetitive and me, being in my 20's, with no obligations, couldn't connect to the characters she started to write about who were in their 30's and 40's, with kids, divorced etc etc.
I do think Rock Chicks is her best series and I'll always drop anything to prioritise which is something I did here too. From what I understand, these extras aren't new but for me they were so here we go.
My memory is a bit hazy about some details because it has been a while since I read these books but I could grasp most of it. These little stories were cute and I had a great time reading about how happy they are after their respective books (my favourites were definitely Eddie and Jet's, Vance and Jules' this time) but I have to complain a bit too.
First, Ally and Ren got like 5 pages when all the other couples got 15-18??? I feel like they were done dirty both in their book and in the extras too. Same with Darius and Malia. These 2 couples basically shared a chapter and I'm kinda mad about it.
And second........why did Moses get such a long chapter?? Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like him but I feel like it was more a prequel to Roam's book, which is probably coming soon (My guess is this year).

I absolutely adored every one of the bonus epilogues in Rock Chick Bonus Tracks and loved getting more of the Hot Bunch! They were like extra icing on an already perfect cake. The Rock Chick series is one of my all-time favorites, so I was thrilled to learn more content would be added and Kristen Ashley did not disappoint.
It was fantastic to reconnect with so many favorite characters, plus a few I hadn’t anticipated. Lee, Eddie, Hank, Vance (and of course Boo), Luke, Mace, Hector, Ren, Marcus, and Moses each brought their own sweet and heartwarming perspectives, and I loved what they shared. I might have gotten choked up a time or two because they were each so incredible and made me feel all the things.
While some of the bonus epilogues are longer than others, each one adds something special to their corresponding book and the entire series. I’m so happy the author decided to put them in one volume and I can’t wait to add the paperback to my collection. As a long-time fan of KA, this edition absolutely thrilled me!

The first 5 stories were incredible, the next 5 were meh (beacuse they don’t hold as big of a space in my heart as the og Rock Chicks and Hot Bunch do). I don''t think I can properly describe how much I meant getting to read NEW scenes about my favorite characters in the world 9 YEARS after I originally read them!!! I loved nothing more than reading new chapters with my favorite characters ever aka Lee & Indy, Hank & Roxie, Luke & Ava, and Hector & Sadie. Honestly I can’t describe to you how full my heart was reading their stories. KA’s characters have such a special place in my heart, it’s not even funny. The Rock Chick series is the best series I’ve ever read, and I’m saying that almost 9 years after I read the first book. These books stand the test of time for me in a way I can’t even describe, I genuinely read new books searching for a hero like KA writes. Kristen, you’re incredible, thank you for giving me more moments with these people who have had a massive part in giving me comfort when I’m feeling down for almost a full decade. 9/10.

KA is my personal queen of trash romance but this one was rough, even by her own (low) standards.
Her works have always been gender essentialist, here she abandoned any subtlety.
Contemporary guy pov: "... growing and getting strong in the fierce protective womb of his warrior mother."
'Rock star who'd repeatedly made the cover of Rolling Stone cooked for her family every night when she was home.' 😑
Another contemporary guy pov: "... This room was her. The real her. All woman. The power of the feminine. Having it and flaunting it. But there was a delicacy to it. Her hidden core. The softness. The sweetness. The vulnerability she refused to show, except to the man who she let sleep at her side. ... He felt like an invader in her room... It was part of the spoils of winning..." <- I think he wants to fuck her room tbh.
Hawk and Tate are crying in the corner cause they are man-hating feminists compared to this.

Where do I start....this was a much needed bonus tracks because I loved reading it from hot bunches' POV. Those boys just give me all kinds of butterflies in my stomach everytime🥰🥰.
And Kristen..I never would have imagined a surpise POV from Boo. I mean that was such a vulnerable sweet experience to read it as boo's pov when jules got shot.
Ughhh Lee with his feelings for Indy, Eddie with the way he loves Jet, Hank my protector, Luke my all time favorite badass.
I loved how Mace finally found peace with Tiny.🥹🥹
Love how Saddie got her dad back🥹.

I actually have the audio version and that cover isn't showing yet. No biggie. This is definitely a plus for hard-core fans of the Rock Chicks series. The bonus tracks are some semi-pivotal scenes as seen through the eyes of various Hot Bunch guys. I have to admit, it's been awhile since I enjoyed a marathon of the series so I really had to dig through my memory to line up the events but I recommend grabbing this treat to go along with all those stories told through the POV of the Chicks. I saw this was a Rock Chick bonus and I loved the Rock Chicks. This not so much. I feel like I have hit a "do not want to read plateau" with Ms. Ashley. The only reason I got this was the title and the $3.99 price. Money is too tight now for me to be spending on stuff I just hope is ok. I have some of her series and I still reread them but her newer work is not for me. I guess I just lost my yen for it. I know she has a huge amount of fans and I know losing one won't hurt her. I know she will continue to sell books and that's great. I bought this book and this is my opinion....btw who any more says " righteous" like Indy does? It is 2024...

This was so great getting an insight to the guys point if view while reading a whole new chapter.
each hot bunch guy was featured and each mini story was packed with more. More Rock Chicks can ever be wrong. To see how much Lee loved Indy and how he knew she was the one. How Vance was feeling after Jules got shot as well as how her cat missed her and her boys bonded. Hank dealing with Rosie's crazy parents and hello g her realize it was still a great holiday. Darius, how his life changed and we found out who was there with him.
I could go on but I think you see that these bonus chapters were so good, it still keeps you wanting more.

While I enjoyed a look into everyday life with the rock chicks and hot bunch, I would have liked a timeline to go with it. I read most of the rock chick books a long time ago, and not having a timeline got confusing. Still, it was a nice read.

i didn’t realise that I had already read all of these bonus excerpts. at first I thought maybe I downloaded them while previously trawling the KA website for any extra scraps I could get my hands on (that lady could write a grocery list and I would read it). however, I now think these chapters were also included at the end of the relevant ebooks, which I purchased and reread fairly recently. regardless, I still enjoyed getting a big dose of rock chick goodness, with all the couples making an appearance and just generally being delightful and making me smile. will forever cherish these crazy characters, and will never turn down a chance to spend more time in their warm and loopy world.

I’ve loved the Rock Chicks for a long time and have done many rereads and listens. So having these bonus scenes for all of the RC’s was especially epic. I loved going back into their history with each RC. It brought back poignant and hilarious moments as well as give some new insights into their lives. The narration was excellent and made it even more special.

Checking in With all the rock chicks, how can it not be amazing. All the characters are colorful and the individual chapters had me laughing or crying or both. The insight from Jimmy and the sneak peak of Phoenix was a delightful surprise. Any fan of KA or the Rock Chick series would love this additional work!

I loved every word of this Rock Chick bonus book. This is a very special group of characters and a very entertaining world to dive in to. I always laugh at the crazy antics the Rock Chicks get up to, and I always swoon when the Hot Bunch comes to their rescues.

I re read the main Rock Chick books before this one..
Even Quiet Man..
I was thorough..
I fell in love with this again..

If you are a fan of the series, you will like it. Some of the stories, I've read before, but it feels like a couple were new ones. All were fun, as this series is a favorite of mine. Reading these makes me want to re-read the whole series now and see all the high jinx again.

I loved going back to the Rock Chick / Hot Bunch series! These characters are phenomenal and you can't help loving them! Such a fun read!!!
I definitely recommend the Rock Chick series or actually any series by Kristen Ashley! She is a fantastic author!
