A restless bull rider. An aspiring film director. A rodeo that changes everything.
An injury forced pro bull rider Walker Bradshaw to return home for healing, but he hadn’t expected to be roped into a film project as the animal handler. Nothing can distract him from his PBR dreams—and falling in love with the director might be his undoing. No good woman wants a man with broken parts anyway.
Hopeless romantic Brooke Weaver is determined to debut a meaningful docu-drama of her parent’s love story that will garner the support of a private investor.
When Walker’s horse bucks the stunt double, Brooke needs a cowboy—and fast. But when Walker agrees to stand in for a kiss scene with the lead actress, Brooke can’t yell “Cut!” fast enough.
Brooke’s own love story has yet to find her and Walker possesses country swagger, charm, and integrity, but she refuses to fall for a man who would die doing what he loves. Like Dad.
When she witnesses Walker ride the bull that nearly cost his life, she severs the romance.
Will stubborn hearts refuse to fall? Or will they reimagine their dreams to include the love they long for?

I’ve enjoyed other books by this author, but I think this is her best one yet! This well-written story with vivid, fun, and interesting descriptions; strong characterizations; and believable internal and external conflicts—drew me in.
In Fall for Me, we’re taken back to the fictional town, Wild Rose Ridge, in Washington State, where some of the author’s previous stories have taken place. Brooke Weaver, an aspiring film director, arrives with dreams of creating a docudrama that will share her parents’ love story. She hopes it will open doors for her in the film industry where her parents became famous—her mother as an actress and her father as a stuntman.
Walker Bradshaw grew up in a well-known rodeo family, and he’s made a name for himself as a pro bull rider. But he’s back in Wild Rose Ridge, helping his parents with their equestrian therapy program while he heals from a bad injury. He never expected to be roped into helping with the film Brooke Weaver is making.
Walker is all cowboy, and he’s stubborn at times. He knows riding another bull ride may jeopardize his life, but he’s determined to go out at the top. Yet, beneath the handsome, manly exterior, he’s kind, protective, and respectful of women.
Walker and Brooke aren’t looking for love, but there’s no denying the chemistry between them. The author does an amazing job of creating “heat” between them without crossing any lines or including anything that would feel uncomfortable for readers.
But how can they be together when he doesn’t want to give up the profession he loves, despite the danger? And after losing her father because of a stunt gone wrong, Brooke feels the need to play it safe. She isn’t willing to be in a relationship with a man who risks his life for fame and a paycheck.
As a reader, I felt for both of them. If you love someone, how can you ask him/her to give up a dream? Fall for Me is a story about love, sacrifice, compromise, and learning to trust that God may have a different plan—a better plan—for our lives.
What I liked about this was the setting and the personal growth of the characters. What I wish was better - Brooke’s character seemed melodramatic at times. Also the point of view sometimes changed in confusing ways to inner thoughts, which should be in italics. I give this three and one half stars.
This is a very good creative read of Walker' and Brooke's journey to love. The storyline is intriguing along with heartfelt and interesting characters. It is a page turner read.
This was absolutely a great book and by a great author. I highly recommend this book and author. I can’t wait to read the next book by this wonderful author.
Romantic, romantic, romantic! Very nicely written and one to keep on the bookshelf to read again and again! Walker and Brooke’s story begins with her mother and fathers!
