Type: Book 3 of 3 from Alpha series
POV: First Person – Dual (Females)
Rating:

Kyrie St. Claire and Valentine Roth were still in hiding from his former mentor, Vitaly Karahalios. Vitaly was out for revenge after what both of them did to his family and he was targeting anyone closed to them.

Layla Campari was Kyrie’s best friend whose life was ripped away for her own safety. Now on board of Eliza together with the couple and their body guard Nicholas Harris, she must learn to adapt in order to survive.

I was actually quite reluctant to read this one due to what I felt about the previous books. But I am glad I took the chance and endured this because it was quite different from the others.

Loving him isn’t a choice. It’s not something I have control over. Being his, being with him…it’s all of me.

Kyrie and Roth were adapting to living on boat at the edge of the world. With security at all time alert, they still manage to live a fulfilled life because they have each other.

“If you were hoping for a damsel in distress, you’ve got the wrong bitch. I may be in distress, but I’m sure as shit not a fucking helpless damsel.”

Layla on the other hand was having a hard time. Used to making herself busy with work and school, with nothing to do, her minds was starting to betray her emotions and it wasn’t long until she couldn’t take it anymore.

Harris, was being Harris. The stoic man who was always professional and dedicated to his job, but we finally got to see a different side of him in this one.

Omega went almost completely different direction from its predecessors. It still had the car chasing, guns blazing action and the lots and lots of sex, but it had a different tone. Amidst the seriousness, this book was injected with a different life with the addition of hilarious scenes courtesy of Layla.

God, my tits hurt from the constant bouncing. I’m stacked as hell, and I do mean stacked. I’m not saying my tits are my best asset, because I’ve got a pretty bangin’ ass too, but dem titties? Big, juicy, and bouncy. All natural, of course.

I absolutely love her. This book comes in dual POV (Kyrie and Layla) and hers was the best part of the book. The things that come out of her mouth were certainly entertaining.

You want to talk about uncomfortable? Jesus. I’ve now got mad respect for those crazy druggie bitches who smuggle bags of coke up their shit, that’s for sure.

One of my favorite scenes was the “pen scene”. I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt.

However, even though I love the funny bits, overall as a series, I’m not quite sure if this book fits. It felt more like a spin-off than the conclusion of the series because of the shifted focus. I was also highly disappointed with Vitaly’s ending. It was anti-climactic.

Also, like the previous books, the sex scenes were too long. I don’t have problem with many sex scenes but when it’s too long I lost focus. It would be so much sexier if it’s short and hot. The whole time I was thinking, “Dude, just cum already!” Hahah!

Overall, Omega was a breath of fresh air but I wasn’t exactly what I wanted as the conclusion for the series.

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Omega is the final installment of this powerful and sensual trilogy. It follows a few months I believe after the second book. So newcomers, basically what has happened previously is that Kyrie and Valentine are in hiding, with Kyrie's best friend Layla. Kyrie in order to save the man she loved and herself, had to kill their enemy a cruel and selfish woman, but her father is after them. Even though this villain of theirs understand the situation, he is out to destroy Kyrie especially and anyone that is close to her. At first I thought Omega would be more about Kyrie and Valentine but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Layla's story. Layla had a rough upbringing and has a rough exterior but she is tough as nails. Which makes her the perfect match for cool and collected Harris. I really liked the ins and outs of their relationship.
“I wasn’t capable of saying goodbye to him. So I rushed back to kiss him once more, amazed that this was me, in love with a man who loved me back.”
It had quite a few love scenes, however I did feel there was quite a bit of thrilling development of the plot. At first I wasn't sure if I would like seeing more of Layla, since she seems so bratty in books one and two, however I grew to like her eventually but it takes some time before her character softens enough for you to like her. I didn't love her at all, but I did grow to like her toward the end. We see beneath the surface and she becomes so likable. Definitely a couple you can fight for.

Omega is NOT a standalone so make sure to read Alpha and Beta first.
4.5 Smoking hot stars!!!

So, I might be in the minority here, but I was content at the end of Beta. I know it was an open ending but I felt like a part of me wanted to just imagine Kyrie and Roth being ok and Harris protecting everyone.

But there was a demand and Jasinda rose to the occasion. And for those of you that wanted a true HEA for these characters, you got it.

I am a HUGE Harris fan. And if you're like me-you will LOVE the amount of Harris time that you get. I mean it. You're going to be in heaven. You thought Roth was a beast in bed?? Wait til you see what Harris is really packing. But... I won't let you know who the love interest is. Fans of the series- you won't be disappointed.

There is also plenty of Kyrie and Roth here, but there is so much more. While this book is largely about Vasily's revenge- as he synopsis will tell you- Layla becomes collateral damage. I loved getting to really know Layla. At first- I found her spoiled and ungrateful but Jasinda quickly put me in my place as the story continues. Layla and Kyrie have a similar sense of survival that makes them both really easy to like and root for.

There's nothing better than a book that is exciting, fast paced, sexy and full of strong female and male characters. That is what you get here. The conclusion to this series will leave you fully satisfied.

***3.5***

This is the third book in the Alpha trilogy and CANNOT be read as a standalone. This book is divided into two parts. The first part being about Kyrie and Roth(the couple from the first two books) and the second half being about Layla, Kyrie's best friend and Harris, Roth's lead bodyguard and all around badass.

This book picks up right where the second one left off......Kyrie, Roth, Layla and Harris are all living on the Eliza, a super yacht, sailing around the world trying to escape the super powerful, Vitaly. Kyrie and Roth's portion of the book reveals nothing new to us. It is not until Layla's portion of the book that the action picks up.

To go into the plot would be to spoil the book. I will say that Layla made this book for me! She was hilarious. I loved her. Without her portion/plot, it would've just been an epilogue for Kyrie and Roth.

Jasinda Wilder writes some very long, steamy sex scenes. Roth and Harris' stamina rivals Jesse Wards. These guys had stamina in spades.

Sadly, I did not enjoy this one as much as the first two, but it was still a nice conclusion to the series.

Jasinda Wilder has an amazing ability to write the most sexy, intense scenes. There I am reading one of the most intense scenes and she makes me laugh. Then it turns sexy and the tension is palpable. Here is the hard part. There are two parts to this book. It’s almost like two novellas together. The hard part writing this review is not explaining it any further than that.

Part One: I loved the continuation of Valentine and Kyrie’s story. Those two are H.O.T. and fit so well together. I’m happy for the outcome of their story. The journey that they had to take to get there was heartbreaking and very intense.

Part Two: I have to admit that this one was my favorite part of the book. I loved the storyline and found it hilarious while still scaring the hell out of me. It was fast paced in its intensity. Action packed and hot enough to melt my Kindle. I loved these two and their story. It was totally unexpected and totally awesome! Great ending to this series.

okay. i cannot even tell you how i feel about this book. im so fucking pissed. what the actual fuck. literally the only reason i kept loyal to this goddamn trilogy was because of roth and kyrie. and then halfway through the book you take that away? hell nah. i mean, sure, layla and harris were cute and all but they just werent cutting it for me. i demand more roth and kyrie scenes, god damn you. the ending sucked hard. i wanted to be in kyrie's head at the wedding, not layla's. i mean what the fuck were you even thinking jasinda. ugh. ughhhhh. i have rage inside of me and i refuse to calm down.
also, vitaly's death scene was just lame. i expected something way better and more exciting than that. now back to roth and kyrie. so fucking disappointed. ugh. i will be expecting a novella or something about them, because this shit just aint right.

Jasinda Wilder’s Omega is the thrilling conclusion to a series that will push your boundaries…in all the best ways. Prepare to have every single one of your buttons pushed but, then again, some buttons are meant to be pushed… *Wink Wink*

I’ve been waiting for this final book in the Alpha series for quite some time, I’ve loved both Alpha and Beta so Omega had to be read as soon as it released! I started it this morning, and even with my child running around all day causing chaos and wreaking havoc, I finished it within hours. I. Could. Not. Put. It. Down. Jasinda’s writing never fails to draw me in, I pick up one of her books and I drift away.

“I’m a tough bitch, but everyone’s got their breaking point, and I was nearing mine.”

Omega finds Kyrie and Roth struggling to find a solution to the now very deadly situation they have unwillingly found themselves in. No matter where they run, no matter how ruthless their team is, no matter how sophisticated the security measures, they cannot outrun the rabid dog continuously nipping at their heels. When yet another one of Kyrie’s people is snatched from right under their noses, it becomes apparent that the situation is getting worse and it’s not going to go away. Revenge is being sought and until that need has been sated no one will ever find peace or sleep easy again. Looking over their shoulders and even sailing to the ends of the earth is not going to keep any of them safe. Everyone is a target and is in danger of becoming collateral damage for the cause. Kyrie must pay and it is crystal clear that there are no limits to how far he will go to ensure she does.

“Harris is coming. Harris is coming. Harris is coming.”

Jasinda always gives phenomenal book, for me it’s a given. She never fails to take me on one hell of ride no matter what. Alpha and Beta were seriously intense and erotic reads; Omega kicks it up yet another notch. Omega blends heart, emotion, and humour with thrills, chills, suspense and unbelievable off the charts eroticism. The chemistry is molten hot and when temptation becomes too much to be denied any longer, it quite literally explodes. I admit I had to fan myself more than a few times and I honestly thought that my kindle might spontaneously combust when I read a few of the sexier scenes. Some scenes will make you uncomfortable and scared, but it totally works. It is, after all, an erotic thriller. When things start to get really intense and brutal, she weaves in this brilliant laugh out loud humor, it’s the craziest feeling, but it’s brilliant really. Full on snort laughs in the midst of chaos, it’s epic. This book had it all: kidnappings, weapons, 24/7 surveillance, hot alpha men more than capable of igniting any woman’s naughtiest desires, strong, incredibly brave, independent, sassy and frustrating women, deadly enemies, insane car chases, and enough suspense to keep you gripping your e-reader in desperation, Omega left me in awe and a little breathless. This was a truly fantastic conclusion to a series that has become one of my all-time favorites. I loved every single moment. The writing was fabulous and the characters unforgettable. The pacing was fast, furious, and relentless, I read this one in one sitting and when I was finished, I was left with a goofy grin on my face.

“I wasn’t capable of saying goodbye to him. So I rushed back to kiss him once more, amazed that this was me, in love with a man who loved me back.”

Thank you once again, Jasinda, for reminding why you are one of my auto-click authors. Once again, you blew me away.

You just can't go wrong with a Jasinda Wilder book. I love all of her works, but I really love those stories that combine excitement and suspense with a beautiful and dramatic romance and the titillating tidbits that happen inside the bedroom. You may already know from past experience, as I do, that this author can deliver an intense and emotional love story like no other as well as her fair share of incredibly sensual or sinfully steamy scenes, but combine these things with nail-biting action and adventure and you have some of my favorite uniquely captivating and gripping stories. Omega is blisteringly hot, action-packed, thrilling, moving and so much more.

Beyond the bloodlust, the retribution, the retaliation, the violence, and the suspense, the crumbling of walls, the lowering of defenses, and the unexpected fall of two hardened characters determined to never know love is stimulating in its own right. While I expected to continue following Kyrie and Roth on what I hoped was their journey to a long awaited and much needed happily ever after, this story instead veered off to center on and follow two unanticipated characters whom I have come to love and appreciate even more than Alpha's first fabulous couple.

We join Kyrie and Valentine as they begin to fatigue from the chaos and discontent of life on the run and start to long for a simpler, settled life in which they can expand more than just the business. Of course, life with Roth has never been easy and all too soon the past catches up with the two of them affecting not just themselves, but many of their loved ones as well. It is at this time that we gain the perspective of a new wonderfully one-of-a-kind heroine. Outspoken, brash, crude, and somewhat abrasive at times, this new point of view is utterly alpha female, tough as nails and unapologetic. Sounds like it could be a little off-putting right? A little too much even? Done correctly these qualities in a heroine are nothing but admirable, entertaining, and endearing. In case there was any doubt, this time around, it was done just right.

Our two new main characters are the perfect complement for one another. This unbelievably strong, fiercely independent, and unwaveringly self reliant female needs someone just as strong, just as capable, just as confident. Someone who will allow her to take the reins when the situation dictates, but also someone that can take control and shoulder some of her burden, not to mention wrestle those reins right back when needed. Our new hero (in every sense of the word) needs someone who can accept him the way he is, can accept his lifestyle and the actions that comprise it, as well as accept his past. He needs someone that can keep up with him and understand all of the things that he has been through. These two characters, who could not seem more different if they tried, fit together perfectly. So much so that they have become one of my favorite couples and actually stole much of the show from Roth and Kyrie.

Omega is, by far, my favorite book in the Alpha series. This book truly has it all; a fast paced, unputdownable story that is definitely a contender for the hottest read of the summer, a powerful connection between two engrossing characters, and enough excitement to keep you on the edge of your seat and glued to the pages.

EEEK! It is finally here! The minute I finished Beta. This series is a crazy ride of super hot scenes and racy chases that both get your blood flowing and keep you on your toes.

I was eager to get another book after Beta. It was a GREAT ending and could have certainly been left there, but I am SO glad that Jasinda decided to give us another final book in the series. I felt like it tied things up absolutely perfectly.

This book had SO much crammed into it that I didn't think I could possibly have gotten more information. It was delivered seamlessly and wrapped up epically. Jasinda has a talent for giving you a lot of stuff in a little amount of time.

Then we have the steamy scenes. Hot doesn't even begin to cover them. Maybe combustible? I don't even know. I felt like I needed to fan myself through half of the scenes.

This novel also gave us a lot more with some of the secondary characters from the first two novels. We still get a TON or Roth and Kyrie, but we get even more Layla and Harris. Our characters are being hunted and people are going to get hurt. This is an inevitable outcome, but don't fret, there are things coming that you won't be able to guess.

Dive into this novel. Get swept away in the romance and exhilarating drama that is following these characters and get your HEA. A definite 5 star read.

This book was complete garbage. The couple we've been following only were in the spot light during the first half of this shit show. The second half was about the two supporting characters.

And I freaking loathe layla. Here's an example of why..
Oh we're in a life and death situation where men have broken into our impossible to find safe house but your dick is near my face so "Mmm. Penis," I put you in my mouth and distract you and put our lives in jeopardy because I'm a fucking horrible character.

I can't handle the stupidity. The unbelievable scenarios. The ending. The middle. Almost everything.

And eff you Kyrie. I hated you in this book. You were annoying as fck. A horrible friend. Horrible sister. And daughter. And if I had to read about how much you love Roth and needed his dick one more time I was going to vomit. And that's coming from me.. A complete lover and supporter of massive amounts of sexy time and love in books.

And the resolution? The big showdown? ... Nonexistent. Completely unbelievable and anticlimactic. The bad guy who has had his minions doing all his dirty work for him just decides oh hey let me at them in broad day light and tons of witnesses with no real plan or back up. Best. Plan. Ever.

This trilogy was a complete waste of my time. The only decent book was the first.

Give me my money back.

2 star. Alpha -

I thought this book was going to be about Kyrie and Valentine . . . Nope. It was more about Harris & Layla.
Like Joanna said, let's me start off by saying I hated Layla from the start!
Layla was not a likable person. AT ALL. She's all in your face loud, she's rambunctious, and she does not know when to SHUT UP!
In the first and maybe in the second I thought she was an okay friend...but in this last book she was not a nice person or a good friend. She always made Kyrie feel guilty. She said some really mean she hurtful things to her, I even wanted to cry and cringe at the same time, all because when Kyrie was traveling the world with Valentine Layla ended up homeless.
Like, I'M SORRY I DID NOT CALL YOU WHILE I WAS HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE AND THRN I WAS RUNNING FROM DANGER!

I felt bad for Kyrie. Kyrie had taken care of everyone BUT herself since that age of nineteen (if I'm correct) and for once she was doing something for herself. I understand that Layla and Kyrie were really close friends..but Kyrie had her own life and her life does not revolve around you LAYLA!

But Layla was too much of a selfish friend to understand that and she never did.

So may times I want to scream "WHERE IS YOUR BACKBONE, KYRIE! STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!"

She told Kyrie she was a bad friend made Kyrie feel like a bad friend but if I recall Kyrie had paid get Layla's bills, put food in her house and always tried being there for her.
But it seems Layla had forgotten.

I hated everything about Layla.

SHE RUINED THE BOOK FOR ME!
If it weren't for Kyrie, Valentine & Harris this book would have gotten a 1 star.

Fifty Shades of Grey meets The Transporter: This book was one wild ride. Filled with action and steamy scenes, it focused mainly on Kyrie's best friend Layla and Harris (bodyguard and former Army Ranger) - Two people who for different reasons keep their emotions tightly locked up. It follows their journey of realizing their connection to one another and coming to grips with emotional vulnerability. It's an exciting journey and is a great wrap-up to the Alpha series. Jasinda Wilder has done it again and in turn, brings us a story with twists and turns that leave us breathless.

No, táto séria začala veľmi sľubne. Ale no čo už....
Dej ma nie vždy bavil, občas sme sa len motali okolo horúcej kaše. Tiež nechápem prečo všetci bodyguardi boli Rusi, však Rusi poznajú aj iné povolania...

The final book in the Alpha series is a sizzlingly sexy, action-packed read sprinkled with Wilder’s signature wit. A truly fitting end to this rollercoaster ride of a story that has spread out in three heart-stopping books.

Book Review: Omega by Jasinda Wilder

The end is here. Jasinda Wilder has given us the final chapter in the Alpha series. Are you all ready for this?

The story picks up a little bit after the final pages of Beta. Still sailing around the world, Roth and Kyrie have a new companion on board, Layla. Kyrie’s smart-mouthed, tell-it-like-it-is friend is now under the protection of Roth and Harris, and lets just say that she is not totally thrilled about it. However, to keep her safe from Vitaly, there are limited options.

In a horrible turn of events, Layla is kidnapped by the very men Kyrie has tried to protect her from. It is here that the story is heard from Layla. In her sarcastically fabulous way, we learn much more about the woman who has been friends with Kyrie for all these years. There is also a budding romance that will ignite the pages of this book. Through it all, Harris and his team of men are in pursuit of Layla and by extension Vitaly. Will they make it to her on time? Will Kyrie, Roth, Harris, and Layla be able to finally stop looking over their shoulders? Can they all have the happily ever after that they so desperately want, but is always out of reach? These are the questions that will be answered in this epic finale.

If you have followed the story of Kyrie and Roth as I have, this may be a sad day for you. Truthfully, I put off reading Omega as long as I could because I wasn’t sure I wanted it to end. It is a funny thing when you know that this will be it. You want to jump into the book and not look back. However, there is something that nags at you and almost makes you slow down to savor all the moments. Maybe this is just me and I could be crazy, but whenever I get to a series that is concluding, this is exactly how I react.

Through it all, the bloodshed, the humor, the sex that might just overheat your eReader, and the compassion, Jasinda Wilder never ceases to amaze me by her story telling. For two complete books, she has given us Kyrie and Roth’s story through their own words. Now, she has added another level by letting us hear from Layla. By having another vantage point, the author set this conclusion apart from the other parts of the story that have brought us here. It is refreshing to experience something so different, but yet so familiar within the series. The wit and sarcasm just flew off the page. The bluntness that Layla has is priceless. On top of that, there is a more honest and sensitive side to her that she is dealing with as she fights with her emotions.

There is no doubt that Jasinda has the ability to mold and shape her characters within the pages of her books. This series is no different. As each event occurs and obstacle is overcome, the complete cast becomes more complex and grow. And this is why those of us who love Jasinda’s writing keep coming back for more.

So, now is the time. Are you ready for the end?

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

Summer Roberts is a new-to-me narrator, but I’ve definitely become a fan. Even with two female POVs, since Omega is told first in Kyrie’s POV, then in Layla’s, Summer Roberts was able to make their voices distinct and unique, and I could tell whose POV it was just by her narration. She did a fantastic job narrating Omega, which is now my favorite of the Alpha series. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Kyrie and Roth, so when the story switched over to Layla and Harris, I really started enjoying this audiobook. If you’re a fan of the series, you won’t want to miss Layla and Harris’s story – their heart-pounding, intense, crazy hot story was so much fun to listen to.

Vitaly Karahalios is out for revenge for his daughter’s death, so Kyrie and Roth are out in hiding in the middle of nowhere on a boat, and they’ve take Kyrie’s best friend Layla with them for her protection. Harris is basically Roth’s bodyguard, there to protect the three of them, and there’s some delicious tension going on between him and Layla. I’ve always been intrigued by Harris in the previous books. He’s stoic, intense, quiet – so I loved that he actually gets his own romance with Layla of all people, the dirty-mouthed, sassy, independent, hilarious woman who is his opposite in every way.

I would’ve loved if Omega had solely been Layla and Harris’s story, because I really loved everything about them. They’re the definition of ‘opposites attract,’ they’re amazing and funny together, the chemistry between them is on fire, and I loved how they opened up to one another, when usually they’re the kind of people who keep things close to themselves. And they are crazy hot together! Jasinda Wilder knows how to write hot, dirty scenes, though I will admit that there might have been too much sex in Omega.

There’s also some great suspense and action in Omega, and the best part about it is Layla’s hilarious take on the craziness that’s happening around her. She’s a sarcastic girl, and I found myself cracking up sometimes at the inappropriate jokes she’d make.

If you’re looking for something hot, sexy, action-y, and fun, I would definitely recommend the Omega audiobook. Summer Roberts is a great narrator, and I’d definitely listen to another audiobook she narrates. Since Omega is book 3 in the Alpha series, you would need to read the first two books in the series, but Layla and Harris’s romance is definitely worth it. I found myself hooked onto their story, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s a great conclusion to the series – Kyrie and Roth’s story wraps up nicely, and Layla and Harris have their own perfect ending.

Kyrie St. Claire is living a life like she never imagined. Today her home is a yacht somewhere in the middle of Tierra del Fuego but tomorrow all of that could change.

She and Valentine Roth are on the run from an enemy that will stop at nothing to destroy them or anyone that they care about – and that includes Layla Campari.

Layla struggles under the weight of Roth’s ruthless security and the ever-watchful eye of Nicholas Harris. Unlike Kyrie, she’s not the kind of girl who could ever be blinded by love but there is just something about the quiet and intense man that makes the blood sing in her veins.

When Layla is taken by Vitaly, she finds herself clinging to not only her wits to stay alive, but also to the hope that Harris will come for her. And when he does – he won’t let her deny the growing passion between them.

If they get out of this alive, will Layla ever be able to give him more than just her body or is she determined to live a life without love?

Omega is not at all the story that I thought it was going to be. It’s by far more rebellious and thrilling! Jasinda seriously ups the ante for the final installment in the Alpha series and brings it to an epic conclusion by mixing her own brand of scorchingly hot romance with heart-stopping action and razor sharp wit.

Prepare to be held completely spellbound…

What a fabulously surprising ending.. I like many could not imagine, what possibly could happen next to Kyrie and Roth. There is no steam missing for them in this final edition but what surprised me was that Kyrie's best friend Layla and Harris, Roth's right hand man are so hot together LOL.
I love the entire Alpha series but I have to say, OMEGA is by far my favorite of the series. Adventurous. Hot as hell. Hilariously funny banter between these two. It's one hot funny read you wont want to miss

I loved Alpha and Beta, and Jasinda did not disappoint with Omega.
Another hot sensual action packed storyline. With Roth's past and Kyries actions coming back for revenge, will anyone get their HEA?
Layla stole the show for me, I just love her character, She had me laughing, crying and cheering her on, and lets not forget Thresh,O M G!!!

Action packed, sex filled gripping storylines that had me unable to put it down.

A fantastic third book in this edge of your seat, one handed read ;)

What an end to a great series, these books were so different, filled with action some hot scenes and so much humour in Omega, I felt wrong for laughing when people are fighting for their lives but I couldn't help it, the addition to Layla's pov in Omega was amazing, she is one bad ass with sass, guts and plenty of attitude which added something awesome to this book :) well done Miss Wilder these books rock!!!!

What a perfect ending to the series. Romance, steamy sex scenes, machine guns, kidnapping and yes it's good that I now know the difference between a humvee (military) and a hummer (civilian). The last half of the book is more about Layla and Harris and I must admit I laughed a lot when reading the banter between these two. Thugs R Us....LOL. Highly recommend. And yes, you must read Alpha and Beta first before reading this one. Duh!

This installment and last book surprised me as it waste about Roth's bodyguard Harris and Kyries best friend Layla. That being said, Layla's "voice" cracked me the hell up! She was sassy and badassed all at the same time. More of the same
Ensues from the other books, lots of chase scenes, shot em' up scenes and one hell of a scene involving a Bic pen. A fitting finish to this series.
