Fighter
All of Dale's brothers help with their bounty hunting business, all except her. Wanting out of that life, she left for college, but on her first morning back home for the holidays, she’s back to chasing after a bail jumper. The heroine(s): Delia (a.k.a. Dale, a.k.a. Doily) - she grew up as a tomboy with nine brothers. Her mother died when she was young. Her father was a drinker and a gambler that was murdered behind a bar when she was in high school. Dale was the only one in her family who went to college. She comes home for the holidays and is roped into working for and with her brothers as a bounty hunter.
The Hero: Jax - Dale’s ex-boyfriend who is trying to evade the bounty hunters. Jax needs to win an underground fight in order to help his sister.
The Story: Jax is the one ex-boyfriend Dale had hoped never to see again, she had to quit him because he always got her into trouble. He left for New York to be a model last she heard and she had no clue why he was back in town. But she knows where he will be and how to get him.
I liked this story, Dale is still extremely attracted to Jax which makes her question her judgement when it comes to him. Jax has good reasons for why he got in trouble with the law and why he jumped bail, but Dale still wants to be the one to bring him in, so they make a deal, but Dale knows she has to harden her heart to him if she wants to get back to her life and go back to college after this is all over.
The story was told from Dale’s POV and Erin Mallon did the narration. She does a great job and narrates quite a few romance books. I enjoy her voice and this was a quick and easy listen. Dale was smart and devious and very likable. I would have liked to read books with some of these other characters from this book, but I looked at Tijan’s other books and it looks like she didn’t write more about this crowd. I would have loved to read more about Dale’s brothers and also about Jax’s sister and Monroe.

I love Dale. She was funny, kind and endearing. I can’t even imagine growing up with 9 brothers!
Of course I love Jax too. Being a fighter alone gave him extra points. He was charismatic and loyal.
I also love the side story of Haley and Dylan. It’s nice to have that in between. The story was good, but I think the ending was a little too much of cupcake with glitter sprinkles lol!
Fighter is a quick, light and adorable read of two people’s opportunity for a second chance love revolving around family, friendship and loyalty.

I love Dale. She was funny, kind and endearing. I can’t even imagine growing up with 9 brothers!
This was the Jax I’d fallen for. No matter how he was pushed down, there came a moment when he was done. Every time that line was drawn, Jax came back fighting.
Of course I love Jax too. Being a fighter alone gave him extra points. He was charismatic and loyal.

Novella. ThereNEVER long enough (SIGH .. I GUESS THAT'S THE POINT)! Nonetheless, a great read I may add. I really hope there's more about Dale's brothers (SHE HAS 9). Starting off with the eldest and Hayley ... they would be perfect together! Speaking of perfection duo's Jax and Dale .. so CUTE. I wish there was more to them hopefully there will be Tijan ? The story line was entertaining and I'm glad it was published as a standalone.

I really enjoyed this novella so much, as i always do with all Tijan's books!!!
Oh, God!!!! I adore this woman... Her stories thrilled me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I can not tell you much for this book because it's too small and i don't want to reveal you all the details in it...
I can only give you some phrases...
A girl...
Nine crazy brothers...
A bail jumper who is also a fighter and her ex...
A messed-up situation...
An underground illegal fight tournament...
Only three days...
And a love that never died....
I know that these informations aren't too much, but aren't they very interesting????

I loved this little novella so much! The cover is spectacular, the main characters are awesome and now i can't wait for the full book featuring Jax and Dale..
Jax, Jax, Jax! I love this name and the hero in this book was worthy of it. He was hot, adorable, charismatic and a little reckless..
Dale was a cynical, too girly to be a badass, marvellous heroine, who made me laugh, and i liked her right away. She was smart and so damn cute.
The storyline is also so catchy. He is her ex-boyfriend who jumped his bail and she comes from a bounty hunter family. Her job is to bring him in, but will she do that or maybe, something ecevn better, help him solve all of his problems?
This short story is really great, every character is interesting and the writing is authentic Tijan.
THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK

Fighter is nothing but a first class sexy/fun read! Tijan never fails to inspire with her "hot alpha males" and her "tough street smart" heroines!
Dale comes from a huge family of big bad ass boys! She is the only girl and you would think she would be treated like a fragile doll. Except that she isn't. She has always helped with the family business which happens to be Bounty Hunting. Although she has been away from the family biz for a while, spending her days furthering her education, her brothers don't hesitate to rope her back into work the second she is home. When she discovers who the target is, she is startled into stillness. It is Jax her ex boyfriend.
Jax is fast and is able to get away. Jax is a fighter. But Dale doesn't give up. She catches up with Jax at one of his fights and they end up teaming up. When Jax reveals why he had to jump his bail, Dale is all in to help. She successfully eludes her brothers and offers aid to her first love. The only problem is that being with Jax is bringing back a tsunami of emotions.
"I was exhausted —though I was still debating whether to fall asleep or jump him and have wild, crazy sex."-Dale
It doesn't take long for Jax and Dale to reconnect. Who doesn't love a second chance at love?
Overall, Fighter was fantastic. Would I have loved more character development? Sure. Was it over before in a blink of an eye? Yes! Was it the perfect read for a rainy day over spring break? YES! I highly recommend this read to anyone who loves a second chance romance! The great news is that there is surely more to come in this series and this girl will be waiting with her kindle charged and ready to download!

“Take us to jail Hayley. It’s a good day to wear orange.”
Oooh we really enjoyed this novella! It was fast paced and full of delish kick-arse characters. Tijan is a brilliant writer; in amongst the action there’s laugh out loud humour, drama, passion and romance. Oh and a load of bloody hot, funny and gorgeous characters. Each could have their own story; and we hope they do. Especially Chris, who intrigued us.
So, we have Jax the lush and fit fighter slash bail jumper who’s the target of a family of bounty hunters – a bunch of gorgeous hot brothers and one studious ‘home for the holidays’ sister. Jax doesn’t want to get caught but there’s a good reason for why and Dale isn’t keen on helping her bounty hunting brothers with their target when she realises they’re after her ex-boyfriend, Jax. It’s all a very hilarious ride with a sexual chemistry that had our pulses racing.
‘They were going to arrest me too? They took out a warrant on their little sister?’
Jax and Dale’s story was a snippet of which we are sure is to be a real sexy emotional and funny read. We read it one sitting and could have kept going. It smacked of something new and intriguing and we can’t wait for more….We want and need MORE!

I absolutely loved this super short funny & sweet story but then again I have loved everything I have read from Tijan so far.

Fighter is only the second book I have read by Tijan, and I can guarantee that it will not be my last. This author hooks you in almost right from the start, and while this is only a novella, I couldn’t put in down at all. I love fighters and bad boys, but what I really love is a second chance romance when you know that the history between the hero and heroine isn’t truly complete and that the chemistry between them is just waiting to combust.
I loved the different twist on the premise, a female bond enforcer going after her ex-boyfriend who just happens to still get her panties wet and cause a ton of feeling to erupt when she sees him again. She knows she needs to turn him in, especially since her brothers and fellow bond enforcers are after him on a skip, but when she learns of his reason why he has that warrant, well you could tell that she wants to help him out. Add into that some hilarious plans, sexual tension that could make anyone want to have a pair of handcuffs near by, a best friend who helps out and a little Dukes of Hazard action and this is a really great read.
I believe that the author is going to do a full length novel continuing the story and if she does I will be getting my hands on it the minute it releases. This one will leave you with a smile on your face and if you have older brothers the satisfaction on besting them at their own game.

Love Jax & Dale together. The sacrifices they gave for each other was amazing.
I must say this was tame compared to the other books Tijan writes but at the end she promises more and I am super excited for that. Totally book stalking worthy.

It was good, better than I thought it would be. Yes, its very short but it keeps your interest and it had me laughing out loud in some places.
I would of loved the backstory on Jax and Dale, it sounds interesting. Overall it was a great short read and would love more from these characters.

Loved it! For a novella, this felt like a full complete book. That’s hard to do in only 74 pages. I loved Jax and Dale. I can see myself coming back to this book many times for re-reads.

Fighter is a deliciously delightful fun read. Dale is home from college for the Holidays to spend time with her family. Her brothers...there are many..will crack you up. They Chase bail jumpers for a living and Dale helps out when she's home. This time the bail jumper happens to be her ex boyfriend Jax. They broke up but neither realize it's due to a miscommunication between them. Dale is so torn with helping Jax or sticking with her brothers and doing her job. The chemistry between Dale and Jax never went away. It's a hella hot and of the charts. Between Dale, Jax and Haley's antics I couldn't stop laughing.
