James Alexander Whitmore III, better known as Jaws as a joke among his co-workers, doesn’t even want to be on this cruise he’s been guilted into.
A rule-breaker in his CEO father’s eyes, he’s a software engineer who designs video games. Although, he’s not your typical geek, either, with his muscular body framed by long, dark hair and home to tribal tattoos from his latest successful game.

After traveling around the world to gain certificates as a personal trainer and yoga instructor, Samantha has finally landed her perfect job working on a cruise ship. As a staff member, Sam has the run of the ship. She can fraternize with the passengers, but being caught in flagrante delicto is grounds for immediate dismissal.
While an adventurer, she’s not a rule-breaker, so this poses a problem when she meets Mr. Tall, Dark and Mysterious. While she can’t imagine fitting into the world of a man who can rent a secluded cabin in the Grand Turks for the five hours they are in port, he just may prove to be her greatest adventure yet, in the bedroom and out.

About the author

Ever since she was young, Kiki Howell has loved to listen to a well-woven tale with real characters, inspired plots, and delightful resolutions. Kiki could spend hours lost in a book, and soon she knew that creating lives, loves, and losses with just words had to be the greatest thing that she could do. To that end, she pursued her study of literature and writing, earning a bachelor’s degree in English from Kent State University.
“After a long break having my boys, I finally just had to write again. And, as soon as I gave the stories the space, they entered it. It’s both awesome and humbling to find the words in my mind become characters on a page and create their lives.”

I had a copy give to me by the author for an honest review.
I love Kiki's paranormal books so I read this with an open mind. Well I loved the book and couldn't put it down. I love the storyline and the characters. Jaws and Sam find each other on a cruise ship, Sam is working on it and Jaws is on it to please his mum and dad. Talk about Love at first sight I liked what he does for her and how they overcome their problems. The only thing is that she set us up for a great ending but it sort of missed something it could have been so much more, a little let down I feel but other than that I really great book. I will give it 4.5 because of the ending but round it up to 5

I received an ARC eBook in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book I have read by Kiki Howell and it certainly won't be my last! James and Samantha's story was explosive from the first chapter to the last! Unable to deny their attraction to each other and breaking all the rules to be together - aah, the stuff of true romance! Definitely a mature and passionately explicit read! Delicious from start to finish! I highly recommend this book!

James is a software programmer and when he parents force him on a cruise he tries to make the best of it. Samantha is a yoga instructor on the cruise ship. Samantha is allowed to talk and do yoga with the clients but nothing else. When James sees Samantha he knows that she is going to be his. Samantha is drawn to James but she doesn't want to lose her job. However James isn't about to let her go and will do anything to get her to break the rules with him. Can James convince her that they have something real?


This is a great story and will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

People from different back grounds meet, and yes, fall in love. This is not a surprise. For Sam, how can she fight this attraction? She's an employee on the ship; James is a passenger. Will James find a way to woo her? This reader was rooting for the woo. Really enjoyed this Kiki Howell book!

Sam is an adventurer in her heart and on a cruise ship she is able to see the world while doing what she loves. Her attraction to Jaws is immediate and sizzling hot, she is willing to do something she never thought she would for this man, if it be one night or more. James "Jaws", never thought of love at first sight but is willing to explore it to find out what could be, but Sam isn't a video game to beat, but he isn't willing to loose. Intense attraction, storyline wasn't a huge page turner for me, so my 4 stars, but I did enjoy the descriptions while on the open sea, the crash of waves and the tropic breezes.

Some misteps in the writing.
Characters arr not fully developed and outright unreal.
A cruise ship and its passenger and staff.
No fraternization with the passengers.
Sam is the yoga instructor
James a reluctant passenger.
They see they want but circumstances that could end Sams job keep them from acting on it. Until they do.
James a nerd at heart sees everything as a game not in a bad way he is just a computer nerd who develops video games for a living and past time and as a hobby. You would not of guessed it by his physical condition though.
So breaking down their relationship is 1s and 0s in his eyes.
Time and places are described well.
Sounds and smells as well.

James A. Whitmiere better known as Jaws to his friends is a successful software programmer goes on a cruise at the insistence of his parents where he meets Samantha the voga instructor on the cruise. She is allowed to mingle with the passengers but nothing else but when they meet he is instantly in love and goes to all lengths to get what he wants and that is Samantha. Loved the story and the chemistry they shared.

This is a quick and entertaining read. James, the tall, dark handsome programmer who has made a. Amen for himself even though he comes from wealth, meets Samantha, a certified yoga and personal trainer on a cruise. He is captivated with her and she is also intrigued but ship rules say no fraternizing with the passengers. But rules are meant to be broken, right? I enjoyed the storyline and the characters.

He is a game maker and he is very successful but his father does not approve. He is forced to go on a cruise which he does not want to be on. She has got her dream job aboard a cruise ship. She can meet and greet all the guest but no bedding them. They meet and she could soon be in trouble. What will they get together? See if she will risk her job

This is the first book I have from Kiki that was not a paranormal read so I was not quite sure what to expect well I should not have worried this was a wonderful romance, as usual, it was well written and it held my interest all the way through. I really liked James and Samantha they had good chemistry and were so great together. A really good read.
