Unauthorized Obsession
Officer Kara Price has recovered from her injury and is back doing what she loves best, patrolling the streets of Westwood Harbor, praying that she never hears from her stalker again. The couple: Zane and Kara

Plot: Kara would be happy to return to regular police work after being shot, but she has a stalker. The stalker's behavior is escalating and just happens to occur at the same time as meeting a new man, Zane. Zane seems almost too good to be true and someone is trying to make Kara think that he is. More than one person is in danger as the stalker plans to make his move.
Commentary: I understand why Kara believed what she did, but if I were Zane, I would have stayed mad a lot longer! I think the author did a good job of leaving the identity of the stalker a mystery until about halfway through. For a moment, I thought it might be her partner. Oops!

Loved this latest installment featuring the heroes of the Westwood Harbor police department. This book features Officer Kara Price who had only recently returned to work after having been shot on duty. Unfortunately, while Kara is trying to protect the residents of the city, she in fact has become the target of a stalker. There was plenty of suspense in this novel as everyone around Kara is a potential suspect. Additionally, we are introduced to Sgt. Gayle who will likely be the main character in book 4. Can't wait for the next one as the author has dropped a few hints about Sgt. Gayle's backstory, that could make things very interesting for her next police assignment.

A fast paced suspense
So I love this series and I was a bit disappointed in this installment. I love Kara, she's a great character but there was too much story and not enough pages. A lot of things occur but there's not enough time to explore them all the way and so you are left wanting something more or the story fleshed out. Zane is the hero of the story and a nice guy but just not enough depth to him. So it's okay for me while the others really shines.

I enjoyed reading the third book in the Unauthorized series.
I loved the characters, plot and storyline.

Suspenseful and a quick read.
I think this is one of the fastest reads I've done. Was such a good read. Never disappointed with your books Lisa.

Awesome!!!
Loved how Unauthorized Obsession picked up right where Unauthorized Deception left off.... Officer Kara Price had a stalker and she never mentioned anything to her partner until she couldn't take it anymore and finally told her partner Joe who pushed her to tell everything to one of the detective in their department.
And she did but it didn't go as she planned which was understandable cause Kara stayed to long to come forward.
Kara met Zane Micheal Rowe while on the job and the latter immediately took a liking to the former and vice versa......Zane asked Kara out on a date and she accepted not realizing that her stalker was much more dangerous than she thought.
Kara's stalker was very clever, he had them chasing their tails and throwing innocent people under the bus while he hid in plain sight.....the culprit was a real shocker.
Zane and Kara found love amidst all the chaos....Another great one by Lisa Ladew.

Unauthorized Obsession is the third in a series of related character books by Lisa Ladew.. Lisa spins a good mystery with suspense, love and danger. In this story we have Kara Price, a police officer who seems to have a stalker. She meets a hot guy named Zane and they begin seeing each other. Stalker ramps up with threats and things that go bump in the night. Is Zane the stalker? or is he being set up.. The evidence begins to point to him. Can Kara find the proof she needs to discover the identity of her stalker?
Good read, I look forward to reading the 4th book soon. :)

Kara's story starts out with her stalker and then it is planted in her head that her new beau is potentially her stalker. She puts that behind her but more information turns her towards him being her stalker. As time goes on she gives him the benefit of the doubt but things happen. A good story but a few things were left unsaid and it could be considered predictable on who the stalker. Overall though it is a fantastic story that even though could be considered a might bit predictable it still had intrigue and suspense. A definite page turner.

I'm always looking for a good romance book with lots of suspense and action. This author has given me what I was looking for and more. There was enough romance to meet what I like but it wasn't overwhelmingly done that it over shadows the plot of the story. The action in the story is written so well it kept me wanting to read more and saddened when it was over. Great job!!!

This is book 3 of Unauthorized Obsession and the continuing story of the cops. Kara Price has a stalker who has killed other women and now he has her in his sights. He has been sending her presents and now he is gotten even closer. Kara meets her match in this crazy person. Well to find out who her stalker is you will have to read the book.

Love this series!
I enjoy reading each book written by Lisa Ladew. I love the mystery and twists and turns. I figured out early who the stalker was in his book but I couldn't piece together how they would catch him and clear Zane.

Lisa Ladew has quickly become the queen of romantic suspense! I really enjoyed this installment, especially the fast-paced nonstop action. Kara and Zane were an electrifying couple! I am looking forward to the next one!

Loved Zane and Kara. Very good read..as always just the right amount of everything you want.. Love, killers, stalkers, bullets flying and always that ...never saw that coming moment. Can't wait for more to come out. Thanks for always knocking it out the park.

Another great read from Lisa Ladew. I am loving this series as much as Edge of Heat and can't wait for the return of Coleton in the next book. I hope Joe also gets his own story as I thought he was a great character

Obsessed!
Obsessed is right. A cop with a stalker. This was like watching a romantic episode of Criminal Minds. I could not put this story down, I just had to find out who the stalker was. This story is awesome, a definite must read.

Good read. Kept me interested. Liked Kara and Zane. I'm not sure of the relevance of the whole Zane having a kid thing. It was mentioned, but there wasn't any significance to it, so I'm a little lost on why that was written in the story.

Loved this book! I love reading about the characters of Westwood Harbor! I can't wait to see what else can happen this town! Lisa has done it again, and I now I best be getting the next book :)
