Fever by Lucia Jordan
4.0 stars

I'm going to make this last review of 2017 short and sweet just like this read.

"Fever" is really more of a teaser novella than a full blown novel. This was a free Kindle offer and my first read of author Lucia Jordan and for a short read she sure knows how to keep you engaged from the very start.

This office romance has all the components of a sizzling, daring and witty story. It lays out a nice foundation between the two main characters Selena and Darius. I like Selena but I'm a bit unsure about Darius at this point. I'm uncertain if he's just a perverted soul or a man with a plan.

This book has a slight dom/submissive vibe to it but nothing obscenely crazy...yet. I'm hoping it will continue into the next book just as strong as the beginning.

This book ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared to move on to book #2.

Jordan offers many of her initial stories for free which is a pretty clever way of getting you invested for the sequels to follow.

I enjoyed this very short read and highly look forward to the next book!

Not that good

Too short. Yes, it had sex. But... Why has the woman to be so needy of a man she barely knows? Like he is the only thing in her mind. Patriarchial till the bone! And the man is just a narcissist who treats women like toys... I couldn't even enjoy the sexy parts because of this.

A good book but leaves you hanging.

It was a good book but to me it cut off seemingly in the middle of a paragraph. I feel like the story was half finished. It left you hanging . I know it's a series but it doesn't go deep enough into the relationship or story or whatever, even that is not clear. Seems to be stretching one book into two .

Fever by Lucia Jordan from Amazon

Selena works in the data entry of the acquisition and sales department. Darius Gaspari is the salesman whose orders she is responsible to fulfill. Selena knows there is a new neighbor next door and she can see into their bathroom while a man is masturbating in the shower. It turns out to be her boss.

Two Wrongs

She has become a peeping tom and allows herself to be blackmailed. He caught her watching him while he was showering. Since he had noticed what she was doing, he thought of a way to use her. Enjoy I did.

Sort of okay

I liked this but I was expecting more close contact shall we say. But there was a point when I just thought why go over to your hot guy neighbor and basically admit that you can see when he showers. He's going to know you were watching.

It's quick and naughty and I loved it!

I enjoyed this book so much. It's one of those quick reads that are just as fulfilling as a full size novel. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book. Definitely deserving of 5 stars

A good read

The chemistry between these characters is hot! The girl that wants the gut who she thinks doesn't even know she exists, yet he knows and wants her more than she knows. Check it out

Too much of the same.

The book goes into same routine, where old lovers reunite and old lovers dominate women , women can't get enough, and then new characters are introduced. Needed something to spice it up, change patterns, do something different. Maybe a different story line.

Steamy and straight to business

Wayyyy too short . Oh but it's everyone's secret desire to be naughty where you should not be. Makes life worthwhile. And the suspense just might give you your orgasm 😉😮😈😈. So will the boss figure it out . Read to find out.

Hot but not a novel

Its a short story that stops at the good part. The sex scenes were pretty good, but it's one book broken up into five books that's just annoying and greedy.

Good

Like this storyline and characters. It does make me crazy how these are never a full story but more of a sample writing.

Office Romance

She loved him from afar. They were co-workers. He made her day at the office. Always seen but never touched. Then he leaves for vacation and she patiently waits for him to get back. In the meantime her new neighbor moves in. Unbeknownst to her, it's her co-worker moving in. While preparing for bed she hears the neighbor in the shower. Looks out the window right into his shower. He's pleasuring himself and she watches. Not knowing he's watching her
