T.M. (Tracey Marie) Frazier never dreamed that a single person would ever read a word she wrote when she published her first book. Now, she is a eight-time USA Today bestselling author and her books have been translated into numerous languages and published all around the world.

T.M. enjoys writing what she calls ‘wrong side of the tracks romance’ with morally corrupt anti-heroes and ballsy heroines.

Her books have been described as raw, dark and gritty. Basically, what that means, is while some authors are great at describing a flower as it blooms, T.M. is better at describing it in the final stages of decay.

She loves meeting her readers, but if you see her at an event please don’t pinch her because she's not ready to wake up from this amazing dream.

Lawless is the third book in the King series. It’s Bear’s story and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since I met him in King. I loved King and Doe in the first book of this series, but I was honestly most intrigued by the side characters, Preppy and Bear. After reading the prologue of Bears book, I was hooked. I knew I was going to love this story.

Bear didn’t join an MC, he was born into one. His dad is the leader of the local MC and Bear was groomed from a young age. It’s all he knew, and besides King and Preppy, all he cared about. The MC was the most important thing to him…

 photo 0882B7AA-462C-4BE5-935D-BC981C66CDC0_zpsgkgk7lnh.jpg

Until it wasn’t. Things changed after he chose someone else over the MC.
The last thing Bear expected while all this is going down is for someone from his past to pop up needing his help. Thia is a girl Bear met years ago when she was just a kid. She helped him out in a big way, so he promised to one day return the favor. Now is that time. She’s desperate after losing everything and everyone that has ever meant anything to her. I love Thia and Bear’s backstory. I had a huge smile on my face while reading it. Their second meeting… it was much different than their first. Bear is not in a good place.

It takes a strong woman to handle someone like Bear. Frazier thrives at writing female leads with strength. Thia may be young at only 18, but the way she grew up, she is more mature than most woman older than her. She may seem fragile, but she’s tough enough to handle Bear. Bear is a character that has some much intensity to him. He’s loyal and he is also lawless. These two wouldn’t seem like a good match, but they compliment each other. Their connection is apparent and their chemistry is high.

 photo 1421DB94-0B04-4683-A2E9-04854060DBB7_zps2xh3kj3c.jpg
I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers. I was already going to hell. Might as well enjoy the ride.

When you start Lawless be prepared to be sucked in. You won’t want to put it down. It’s real, raw, passionate and dangerous. These characters are beautifully flawed and broken, yet strong. It’s suspenseful, messed up, yet also romantic.

I read my first TM Frazier book over 2 years ago- from the moment I read it, I was hooked. I love her writing style, the gritty stories, the broken- yet strong characters, and the feels I always get when reading her books. If you haven’t read her yet, I can’t recommend these books enough. I would say start with The Dark Light of Day since it’s my favorite of hers and read them all! Lawless is a wonderful addition to this series, and I’m dying for the next one! I mean, that ending…
It wasn’t romantic. It wasn’t flowery. But it also wasn’t lies. It was just us.

When I hit 98% of Lawless other than shouting 'NOOOOOOO!' from the top of my lungs the only other thought came to mind was...

WHY DOES T.M. FRAZIER HATE ME???

I mean what did I ever do to her???

WHY DOES SHE ME MAKE ME SO FUCKING ANGRY!!!

FUCK!!

And then 100% kicks in and then it's....

H.O.L.Y. F.U.C.K.I.N.G. S.H.I.T!!!

I CAN'T FUCKING BREATHE RIGHT NOW!!!

That did NOT just happen!!

FUCK OFF THAT DID NOT JUST FUCKING HAPPEN!!!!

FUCK! FUCK! FUCKING FUCK!!!!!

I am so fucking pumped up right now that I feel like smashing someone's face in!!

OMG Thia! Girl, I can't even right now as I can't spoil it for others but just know that...I...just...hang in there, OK?

I CAN'T STOP FUCKING THINKING ABOUT IT!!

MOTHERFUCKER!!

Oh you fucking cocksucking dick fucks, I want want to cut off your cock and put it in a blender, you PRICK!!!

Damn you Mrs. Frazier! Damn you to fucking HELL!

You fucking devil genius!!

You know coming towards the end of this book I keep thinking OK, where's the happiness? You know when all shit hits the fan and you know something bad is going to happen and then nothing fucking happens and then ya know 50% comes then 70% and 70% becomes 90% and I'm like;

"No, Jodi, she's not going to do this to you again. Don't worry, you just calm ya fucking tits and carry on....look Bear has his cock out! You like Bears cock don't you? Yeah it's fine, nothing to worry about...."

BAM!!!

100%

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!!!!!

Now as most people know that I don't tell you what the book is about in my reviews, you have the synonyms so I'm sure you know the gist of it otherwise you wouldn't be waiting patiently for this fucker but what I will tell you that it's going to be a ROUGH FUCKING RIDE!!!

You will go from wanting to take a ride at the back of Bear's bike to wanting to ride that fuckers face let me tell ya!

Fuck, that blokes does things to my vagina!

That's what I fucking love about T.M Frazier's alphas, they are all fucked-up, chain smoking, coke sniffing, tattooed, filthy mouthed fuckers that you can't help but fucking fall in love with and want to fall on your knees for!

I fucking loved this fucking story!! From the tip of my nose to my hairy ball sack it fucking consumed me.

Fuck I'm still fucking going crazy thinking about it!!!

What Thia went through will make you want to grab a bottle of wine just for the pain and Bear will make you grab for a bottle of Jack....before he punches you in the throat and takes it for himself.

If a book can't make me want to curse the fuck out of the author then that, my friends is not the book for me.

I love getting anxiety reading a book, I love the fucking adrenaline, I love the tears, the fucking heartbreak, the laughter, the testicles and the muff gate and I fucking love cliffhangers....you see where I'm going with this right?!

This fucker has a cliffhanger....that is worse than the KING cliffy.

And to anyone that don't like cliffhangers...grow a pair of balls! It's fucking FUN!

This fucker has it all and now I really don't know what to fucking do with myself!!

I FUCKING LOVED EVERY SINGLE HEARTWRENCHING FUCKING MINUTE! And can't fucking wait till the next book!!! FUCK I'm DYING for it already!!

Anywho back to me hating T.M. Frazier.

I love you, I truly do but and I don't like you today, tomorrow I will go back to liking you again...

Not today.

Raw, Gritty And Sexy As Hell!

If you thought you liked Bear before, you haven't seen anything yet. This book delves deeper into the mind of one of my favorite Alphas and takes readers along for a hell of a ride! I enjoyed every minute of this fast-paced, action-packed, steamy book.

Bear first meets Thia when she is ten years old. He is taken aback by the sharp-tongued, witty little girl. When he leaves after their brief encounter, he leaves her with a ring and a promise that he will help her out if she ever needs a favor.

Never in a million years did he imagine that the girl would grow up and try to cash-in that favor. He had all but forgotten about the sassy little girl from his past when she is brutally attacked and dropped at King's doorstep to send a message to Bear. He's not sure he can trust her and he's not sure he can trust himself around her either.

Thia sought out Bear's help after experiencing the worst day of her life. However, if she thought her day couldn't get any more horrific, she quickly learned that she was wrong when she finds herself at the mercy of Bear's father.

When she is rescued and taken to Bear for protection, she quickly begins to fall for him. All her school girl fantasies couldn't hold a candle to the real thing.

The road to happiness definitely isn't a smooth one for these two. Both are in for the fight of their lives. With Bear's old club gunning for him and with Thia trying to avoid the law, this story was have you riding an emotional roller coaster.

When all is said and done, we're left waiting for the next book to see how things work out. This book ends with a huge twist and a lot of uncertainty. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this series ASAP!

Love. It was the only kind of torture I wasn't familiar with. I was quickly learning it was the most painful kind of them all.

Ever since I read KING, I have had a major crush going on for Bear. Something about him just drew me in. I fell in love with the SEXY AS HELL, BADASS BIKER, and I normally DESPISE the term OLD LADY, but I definitely wouldn't mind being Bear's Old Lady!! I'm so happy that he gets his own set of books and that I was lucky enough to be given an ARC!

Thia Andrews is a young woman who didn't have the most conventional family life. She had to grow up pretty quick at the tender age of eleven when her brother died and her parents simply stopped functioning, especially her mother. She had to pick up the slack at home by helping out on the family orange grove and working a second job at the local Stop-N-Shop. It is there that she crosses paths with the BEAUTIFUL but dangerous Bear, aka Abel. She is instantly enamored with him and Bear is touched by the little girl with the BIG attitude. He gives her his ring and tells her to seek him out if ever she finds herself in trouble.

Seven years later, Thia is in a whole heap of trouble and searches out Bear. Let's just say that her nightmare only just began at home, but is taken to a whole other level while in search of the man whom she thinks will be her savior.

If you read Tyrant, you know what happens to Bear, and he's currently gone off the grid. He's left the Beach Bastard MC, which has always given his life purpose. Bear has lost his way and he might even have lost his soul. Until one day when King summons him back to help Thia, who was delivered to his home, beaten and in shock. As soon as he sees her, it's like something sparks life back into his heart. He feels a strong need to protect and claim Thia.

Thia can't help but feel the same strong connection to Bear as well. She has always known that she belonged to him from the moment they met all those years ago. She impresses Bear with her defiant and strong willed attitude, but at the same time she is filled with a child like exuberance that just knocks him in one fell swoop. They take things to the physical level pretty quick and let me just say I might have been wiping the drool off my mouth and also wishing to trade places with lucky Thia.

While Bear tries to help Ti out of the jam she found herself in, they have the Beach Bastards and his no good, piece of shit father to deal with as well. Bear has some pretty big decisions to make when it comes to keeping the woman that he has fallen in love with safe.

This one ends on a HUGE CLIFFY, and it's making me chomp at the bit to get my hands on SOULLESS to see how it all ends for Bear, Thia, and the rest of the gang. This is definitely a book that is not to be missed!

Lawless is the story of “Bear aka Abel” who we meet in King and Tyrant. Bear had suffered so much growing up and was just out of the MC “hiding” or just staying away from his father who wanted his head. He was living a destructive life with no escape or hope of being saved. When he least expected some mistakes of his past brought him back to the town he never wanted to see again. Back in Florida he finds this stupid girl that he never in his dreams imagine would take his words seriously and his life changes dramatically.

“I missed knowing my place in the world and knowing who I was…driving back into the gates of my hell, I had no fucking idea.” Bear

Thia Andrews; at only ten-years old meets Bear during one bad circumstance. Bear gives her something to trick her not to give his trouble MC friend away. Thia takes Bear’s gift and believes in his words. Seven years later; at seventeen years old she finds herself in trouble and no one or nowhere to run to. She panic and the only person that came to her mind was the promised of help from Bear. Little did she know that going to him was going to make her life more dangerous than it already was.

After King is able to get Bear back in town to handle the trouble that Thia was in; Bear finds himself not knowing what to do. He just wants her to go away and for him to continue his destructive life. I really felt for Bear for everything he went through. Thia had no family left she lost her brother at a young age and now she had no parents either or any family to go to and in a big hole that she doesn’t know how to escape from. Growing up too early she had to learn the hard way to depend on no one but herself with two part time jobs on top of her full time job; she was trying to help out at her home the best she could. I loved how brave she was she didn’t hesitate when she had to pull the trigger when trouble faced her. She was a great shooter and that impressed Bear. He had never met anyone like her; so strong and determine but fragile at the same time. Bear saw so much in her and she saw the same emptiness and sadness in Bear. She wanted to help him and he wanted to help her. They were just perfect together.

With a little persuasive she got what she was wanting from Bear he gave in he tried to resist the entire time but at the end he just couldn’t; he couldn’t helped wanting her.

“I’m not stopping at kissing. I’m not stopping until you’re mine in every fucking way.” Bear

Bear was bound to do anything for Thia even if that meant making her hate him; he knew that once his father finds her she was dead and he was willing to give himself up to save her. All the events at the end of the book left me breathless and with panic. I had an ache in the chest, my throat was in knots and I just wanted and make it all better but of course I have to read the beginning of the next book and shit why did I do that?? I felt worse than before. Now off to wait for the next book to come because I need answers and revenge. This waiting my just kill me.

4.5 dead man walking stars

It all started with a promise, a fucked up promise that was too good to be true, but how could Thia ever forget the force of a man like Bear...

Thia, Ms. Prim & Proper, finds herself in hell and only one man can save her from, a man who made her a promise when she was a little girl. Now that she's collecting on that promise, she realizes that all it got her was a wanted sign on her back from both the law and the lawless. Shocked to see that the man who comes for her is a ghost of the man she once met; a dead man walking...
Been a dead man walking with a price on my head and I'm walking around with a fucking hard on all day thinking about being inside of you.

❤BEAR❤ , can't believe the stupid girl found him, let alone believed his bullshit lies. But now that's she found him and brought his & her hell to his doorstep, he can't help but make it all go away.
"I want you to be my drug. Make me forget, Bear. Please." I begged. "Take it all away."

Thia and Bear has been to hell, and their need to loose them selves was truly warranted, no one survives the shit they did and walks away ever being the same. But in each other they find strength and a second chance at a life only they can live. She's all kinds of good and pure, and he's nothing but a bastard; they're just two tortured souls that found something worth living for...Question is, can they survive the shit storm that's coming their way ?!?

Lawless is the third book in the King series, a series that completely sucked me in and spun me around for a ride. Bear was a constant in the King series, so this book means something to me. Ever since my heart broke for Bear, I've been looking for his redemption, he is one mean son of a bitch who loves just as hard as he fights. I knew even before going in that the woman who could save this man, would have to be someone special, I didn't realize that she should just be as broken. Thia's story is just as heartbreaking as Bear's, and I can't help but cheer them on and wish for a HEA.

This book isn't for everyone, it's for those who can accept things for what they are, and realize that there is no right or wrong way of fighting back your demons. No judging allowed. But in true T.M. Frazier fashion, this does leave you hanging, but I have to say it got me all pumped up for what is coming up next. It's only just begun, and since they've both hit rock bottom, there is no where else to go but up. Another awesome addition to an unforgettable series.

If you have not read this book and the first two of the series, King and Tyrant, and you are interested in reading the series, leave here to avoid spoilers. Also if you are sensitive to the issues of bad language, consensual and non-consensual hard sex, use of drugs and well graphic murders, you should not read these books.

Bear's life has never been easy, he didn’t choose to be a biker, it choses him. His father is the president of the club and since childhood he was forced to live in what one day would be his future. They are a club of MC bikers, which for those who don’t know what it is, is a society of malefactors, drug dealers, weapons and whatever appears, murderers for hire and other illicit businesses. Ruthless men, without conscience, drug addicts and without respect for women, which they use at their whim. This is the environment that Bear knows and to which he is loyal.

"Being a biker, a Bastard, wasn’t just in my blood. I didn’t just live it. I breathed it. I drank it. I fucking loved it. It was everything. Until it wasn’t."

Thia is a young girl who didn’t have the best cards in life. Live in a remote village, in an orange grove. From the age of eleven she lives in the shadow of her dead brother. This death resulted in such a strong depression of her mother that she gets away from family life and her father went his way when the contract they had to sell the oranges was canceled. That left Thia with the responsibility of the house, for which she had two jobs to be able to maintain it.

Thia's strange pink hair, a mixture of blonde and red, made her a victim of bully among the school children, so after the death of her brother and that also her best friend went away, added this to the situation in her house, she lived in an almost total solitude.

“We were two tortured souls. Both in more ways than one person should ever have to experience.”

The story of Bear and Thia started when he is already an adult and biker and she is a sweet and innocent ten-year-old girl. His exchange is short, but beautiful, which will forever change the life of little Thia.

Bear gives her his Beach Bastard MC ring to which he belongs, with the promise that if she ever needs a favor she should only present herself with the ring. She keeps it as a treasure for years and when the time comes to need his help, she does not hesitate to go out in his search.

Bear never imagined that Thia would come forward to collect the favor many years later. He is no longer in the club. He and King were very affected by the death of Preppy and this made him get away from it all. Until the day that King calls him because at the door of his house someone left the body badly treated of Thia, at the hands of the ruthless father of Bear.

"The truth is that I’m not the good guy. I’m the fucking bad guy, and club or not, that hasn’t changed."

Thia has always known that she belongs to Bear, but seeing him fight against the attraction he feels for Thia and how he ends up simply surrendering to her, is beautiful. Bear will do everything necessary to keep the woman he loves safe, even when is harder because it is against those who were once his brothers.

“Because I’m not stopping at kissing. I’m not stopping until you’re mine in every fucking way. I’ll try not to hurt you, but this is happening right fucking now. I’m warning you that I want you so much, my version of gentle still migt be really fucking hard.”

The book ends with a twist that all you can do is run to look for Soulless. Without fear of doubts it is the best book of the series so far.

This is one gritty, kick ass, biker read. To be truthful, I rated first book of this series a 3 and the second book a 3.5. Bear’s book is getting 5 fill and my friends I’m so glad I stuck with this series. Also, if you wanted to start series from here, I think it’s doable. This story does end with a cliffhanger, but the ride is brutal, bloody and just so damn messed up. Based on originality and excitement alone, a reread will be needed because I inhaled this sucker.

Bear has turned in his patch. He’s club-less, he has feelings for King’s girl, Doe and has been drowning his sorrows in girls, blow, and alcohol. Bear survived a brutal kidnapping and is basically lost at this point.

”I knew everything about being a biker. I didn’t know shit about being a man.”

I totally forgot to mention the vivid and unforgettable prologue. If you love Eva and Deuce from Undeniable, Bear and Thia have that sort of vibe to them. Definitely the makings of an epic book couple!

”This ring? It’s a promise. In my club, when we give this to someone it represents a promise.”
“A promise for what?” I asked, starring down at the ring, amazed, as if it were hovering mid-air.
“A favor, whatever you need, It means I owe you.”

description

Taking the hot biker up on his promise from all those years ago, Thia shows up at the compound for Bear’s help. To her horror, she finds his father, Chop instead. The sick old bastard uses her to send a message to his son.

description

Once rescued, Thia finds that not only does she has her own mess to fix, but she is also still in danger from Chop and the Beach Bastards.

”I may have given that little girl my ring as a joke, but this wasn’t a joke anymore. This was fucking war.”

Thia Andrews is definitely up there for one of my favorite heroines of the year. I loved everything about this girl, her trigger finger, her youth, her sassy mouth and her feelings for Bear.

”I wanted you because of who you are, not regardless of who you are. You weren’t on a pedestal, you were in my heart!”

description

Bear is definitely a well written shirtless biker. The ending was heart pounding nonstop book excitement.

description

The only thing I’m not sure about is in the cliffhanger ending the “her” mentioned involvement. T.M. Frazier, please make it work!!

★ 5 Loving Lawless Stars ★

"I was already going to hell. Might as well enjoy the ride there."

description

Lawless is the dynamic third installment of the King Series. T.M. Frazier has done it again with her complex characters, twisted plot lines, and broken love stories that will bring you to your knees every time!

description

"Red stains are the worst, expecially in white grout."

Lawless is Bear's story. When Tyrant ended, Bear was left in a dangerous emotional state. Abused and broken, he decided to escape reality and take a trip down the "self-destruction highway". Booze, women, and every cigarette from every gas station (in every county) in Florida cannot help him forget the pain.

description

"He mad you a promise. He will help you. He can do the thinking for you. You just have to get there."- Thia

Many years before, Bear had made a promise to a young girl. Now, the little girl is all grown up. When trouble barrels in like a shotgun on her doorstep, she takes off to find solace in the man who promised her help. Little did she know that man is long gone.

"Used, spent, hot, useless. Broken. Why was I there?"

While seeking help from Bear, Thia falls into the hands of the Beach Bastards MC. In order to unleash a holy war against Bear, they take great pleasure in roughing Thia up. Physically abused and emotionally broken both Thia and Bear must find their way together. Through the support of King, Ray, and Grace, Thia and Bear begin the journey to healing.

description

"He cupped his hands around my face and kissed me like he was screaming at me, punishing me for disobeying him, for being in his life, for not being in his life."

description

"Bear's lips on mine wasn't just something amazing. It was an event. It was downright magical."

Thia and Bear share a significant connection due to their past experiences and present situation. Where Bear is rough and gritty, Thia is soft and innocent. Bear is a master in the bedroom and Thia is as pure as a Disney Princess. And yet, however sweet and angelic she appears to be, we soon learn Thia is tough. She is a true fighter to her core.

description

"We were at war, a war of passion and lust, and anger and hate and every feeling I'd had towards the confusing man."

The physical attraction between Bear and Thia is instantaneous and yet, their relationship develops at a slow and steady burn. The anticipation that builds only causes their first connection to ignite right off of the pages of the book. The intensity between the two was dark and yet, so beautiful! Thia and Bear find solace in one another and yet, with the Beach Bastard MC and the law closing in on them it is only a matter of time before their happy existence is blown to pieces.

"I'm not stopping at kissing. I'm not stopping until you're mine in every fucking way. I'll try not to hurt you, but this is happening right fucking now. I'm warning you that I want you so much, my version of gentle still might be really fucking hard."

description

"I was selfish. I was an asshole. I needed to fuck her more than I needed to breathe."

Told in dual POV, Lawless offers a unique blend of strong characterization, a well developed plot, multiple action packed moments, and raw passion that will leave you breathless. The secondary characters (that we know and love from this series) offer a constant reminder that every broken person has the ability to be healed and loved.

"King was a bull who ran in his own direction and Preppy was the wild donkey, running amongst bulls with no direction at all."

The dialogue drives the action with it's rich text and fluid movement. The action takes you right to the edge of comfort before you free fall into the next emotion. Each moment is felt to the core as Thia and Bear navigate their way through the dark together. In true T.M. fashion, we are left with many questions yet to be answered. I have complete faith in this author to bring Bear and Thia through this transformation with perfection and grace and I, for one, am just thankful to be along for the ride!

"He could rip me in two and I still didn't care because it wasn't what he could do to my body that I was worried about. It was what he could do to my heart."

description

"Never doubt that this has always belonged to me. YOU have always belonged to me."

Overall, Lawless is simply perfect! I enjoyed every second of this read. Returning to these characters was like coming home and I simply cannot get enough. I highly recommend this read to anyone who enjoys a well developed gritty love story. Bear and Thia's story is one to cherish and remember forever. Bravo, Ms. Frazier! And may I also add....Encore! Please....Encore!

"I love you...."

A decent read with a fair amount of ups and downs.

What worked for me
1. Plot- It's action packed.
2. It's dual POV
3. MMC- Bear. The author wrote him with such finesse it's tough not to like him. Sure he's a bit dark, but it is a dark romance.
4. The chemistry between the FMC and MMC- Those two are so cute together. Think of it this way: he'll do anything and everything to protect her.

What didn't work for me
1. FMC- Thia, although young came across as highly immature to me. She came across as a major "pick me" girl, to the point she occasionally tested Bear. Kinda annoying.
2. Insta lust to love romance- It kinda didn't settle with me, the FMC had just gotten raped and the next day she was ready to have sex with Bear. It felt a bit sickening to read.

If you want something dark and twisted, this is the series for you. I was glad to see King and Doe back. Will definitely continue with the series, cause of the cliffhanger lol.

⚠️ Trigger warnings- Drugs, rape, violence, murder, grief. ⚠️

Lawless brings us the tale of everyone's favorite bearded biker, Bear, and Thia, a girl he owed a favor. Their story is violent, gritty, sexy, and mesmerizing. Like every other installment in the King series, this book was gripping from start to finish.

The story begins with a 21 year old Bear giving an armed little girl his ring for agreeing not to call the cops on his inebriated friend. After explaining that the ring comes with the promise of a favor, he leaves without giving her or his promise a second thought for the next seven years.

Thia's life has been anything but easy. After the death of her little brother, she is forced to grow up fast. When she isn't single handedly trying to save her family's orange grove, she is working at the Stop-N-Go where she met Bear all those years ago. Thia's grief stricken mother's increasing mental instability results in her father's murder followed by her own death. With her world crashing down around her, Thia can think of only one person to turn to for help.

Bear, busy drowning his sorrows in alcohol, drugs, and women, returns home after he receives a sobering call from Ray. Thia went to his former clubhouse looking for him, and was subsequently physically and sexually assaulted by his sorry excuse for a father, Chop. After being saved by his friend, she was delivered to King's house unconscious.

Not knowing whether Thia is really a victim or just a pawn sent to deceive him, Bear intends to do nothing more than question her and send her on her way. That begins to change from the moment he lays eyes on her. She's not a little girl anymore, and he can't deny his intense attraction to her. Soon, Thia is named the prime suspect in her parents' murder, and Bear is forced to keep her company longer than he originally planned.

Bear's life is in a state of turmoil. Not only is he dealing with the loss of his friend, but also the emotional scars from being brutally violated, burned, and tortured by Eli and his men. All of that was followed up by the loss of his MC and with it part of his identity. Leaving the Beach Bastards comes with a death sentence so he literally has to watch his back at every moment. The last thing he needs or want is to fall for a girl, but that is exactly what he does. Thia's life is just as big of a mess with not only the MC after her, but also the cops. What kind of future can they have together? Will they live to see another day? If they do, are they too broken to hold each other together?

I absolutely loved Bear in King's books so I was really excited to get more of him in Lawless. While I enjoyed this book, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed. One of the things I loved most about the previous books was how much they made me FEEL. I felt deeply for the characters, and I felt the emotion between them just as much. I didn't feel much more between Thia and Bear than sexual chemistry and desperation. Their relationship just wasn't developed enough for me to believe they were in love. Another issue I had was that I didn't like Bear as much in this book. That kind of broke my heart. I have a lot of faith in this author though. I'm hoping once I read Soulless and have the whole story, my opinon will change.

Aside from that, Lawless is packed with action, steam, suspense, and a few twists thrown in for good measure. The writing is so captivating that you will fly through it in no time, and be dying to get your hands on the next book. I loved that we got to see Ray, King, and Grace again. Those parts were highlights for me. Not to mention, Thia is a great addition to the cast of characters. She is strong, sassy, compassionate, and beautiful.

Despite any of the issues that I had with this book, I would still recommend it to anyone that has read the two prior books in this series. There is no doubt in my mind that you will enjoy it. I'm going to dive right into Soulless with high hopes! Wish me luck! :D

5 BEAR STARS

This was so different than what I expected and I think that's one of the reasons why I loved it so much. It was even better than I could have hoped!

This pairing of Bear, who I loved more than King and about equal to Preppy from the get-go, and Thia was refreshing and so honest. I loved the simplicity of how they first meet and the bond that binds them. A connection that one of them holds so dear and the other never even gives it a second thought. Yet when their worlds collide again, at a time when both are so battered and bruised, that first encounter, that bond, takes on a life of its own. It's certainly rife with mistrust, anger and fear but it also pulls them together and forces them to face what's right in front of them.

 photo lawless_zpss4ui0unj.jpg

There were moments that weren't easy in this book and if you've read King and Tyrant, you'll know exactly what I mean. I found the way Thia deals with the many terrifying, traumatic and life altering things that happen to her in a very short span of time is very realistic. My heart broke for her!

Thia and Bear are two strong and determined people and it was only fitting that Thia be a match for him. And Bear also helps her heal and when she needs it, escape from it all.

Despite Bear's dumb ass move, these two were good together even when they were fighting and fittingly, there isn't any sex, although there is a beautiful and tender moment shared between these two earlier on, until about 3/4 of the way into the book. And before you balk, it was perfect. You have to read it to understand.

"We were two tortured souls. Both in more ways than one person should ever have to experience. But we found each other. We needed each other."

 photo image.jpg1_zps3kengzt9.jpg

"He'd claimed me. Body and soul...in that moment there was no more hiding, no more denying the truth. Bear was right. I'd always been his."

I highly recommend this book! This is my favourite of the series. You must read the first two books in this series to understand and fully appreciate this tale. All I'll say is that I pray for retribution and some kick-ass vengeance for some of the characters in this tale. And that ending! I was mad when it ended the way it did and also seriously hankering for the next book.

**********************************************************
After just finished reading it.
I've been waiting for Bear's story from the moment I met him in King. That was extremely good! Devoured this in one go, so much so, I went to bed waaayyyy late (or should I say early? this morning) But I couldn't put it down. And that ending!!

Going to catch some zzzzzs...

G'night, Bear! MWAUH!!

The conclusion to Bear and Thia's story is NOW LIVE
*Amazon US*Amazon UK*Barnes & Noble*

4 Stars

This book was so much more amazing than I was expecting! When I heard Bear was getting a story I was super excited but I really didn't know what would come of it and I had a bad feeling I would compare it to King and be disappointed if it wasn't as amaze-balls. What the hell was I thinking, because of course T.M Frazier delivered yet another kick ass story.

Seven years ago Bear gave a ring and a lie to a little girl, thinking that he would never cross paths with her again. But when he's at his lowest point, missing being a part of his club and drinking his problems away, he gets a message. A message delivered by that same girl he met all those years ago.

Thia never forgot the tatted up biker that handed her that ring and gave her a promise, so when she needs help he's the first one she goes to. Only, instead of Bear, she runs into his father, a not so good mad. After already having a shit day it gets even worse when she's taken and used as a message for a man she only met once. When Bear shows up he isn't as she remembers, but now she's stuck with him if she wants to stay alive.

I seriously loved this story and that ending was the worst thing in my life. When I read that last sentence and then realized it was over I literally screamed at my kindle and scared the shit out of my kitten. I had no reason to be nervous about reading this because it was a great, suspenseful, sexy read that I can't wait to get the ending of.

Bear lost his meaning of life when he lost his club and he hasn't yet figured out how to live without being apart of something. Even though the club is who he has to run from, it was his family from birth and he misses that connection. But when Thia comes into his life it gives him more to live for. I loved seeing him as a broken man and then growing into someone whole again. I can't say he's better than King just because I think King will always be my favorite, but he was a really close second.

I liked Thia and how strong and independent she was, despite needing help from Bear. She didn't have the best childhood growing up and had to be mature and adult-like from a young age. I think that's what made me like her, the fact that she wasn't a whiny heroine that complained about her past. She accepted it and did her best to move on from that part of her life. I liked her even more when I saw her with Bear and I loved the two of them together.

I really only had one thing about this book that lowered my rating and it was the drugs. It's just my own personal dislike of drug use in books and nothing against the author or the story. Other than that, I loved every second of Bear and Thia and I hope everyone else will too. Bottom line, this book was fantastic and I will be waiting, not so patiently, for the conclusion.

The sacrifices made for love.

Lawless is not something I would normally read, but after reading King and Tyrant last year, I knew it was time to face my fears and head back to scary land. This is a dark read for me. I know there are darker books out there, but this is probably my limit. There is murder, violence, crime, cheating, disrespect for authority and plain old nastiness. But it's absolutely fascinating. I can't help but look into the lives of the characters and wonder if it's somewhat real. Are there men who do not hesitate to snuff out a life? Do women really degrade themselves by running out of motel rooms naked? Can you drive safely after (or while) smoking weed? I can't help but read and think they're a little unreal and an escape from reality... my reality anyway.

Bear's history hurt to read. We find out a little bit about his mother, what life was like growing up as a biker and having the meanest SOB for a father. The hardest part for me was seeing through his eyes, the torture he suffered at the hands of his enemy. No wonder he had nightmares and escaped reality with booze, drugs and babes. Each revelation gave me a bit more of an understanding of how he came to be the man he is. I wanted him to find peace, but by the end of Lawless, it's still out of reach.

I loved meeting Cynthia...not Cindy, only her mum calls her that. She prefers Thia, because that's what her daddy likes. She's a little spitfire ten-year-old who works part-time at the service station. One day, things go a little pear-shaped and there's a gun pointed in her face. Her hero is a beautiful biker named Bear. He fixes the problem and gives her a ring to keep (payment not to tell the cops) and tells her to come see him if she's ever in trouble. The little girl falls in love with the biker and remembers his offer.

Thia's life falls apart seven years later and she ends up needing Bear after all. Unfortunately, Bear is not in a good headspace and is definitely not ready to be anyone's Knight in Jeans and Biker Boots. The ring was supposed to be a joke, but someone forgot to tell the little girl. Bear decides to fix her problems quickly and get back to his self-destruction plans.

Things get out of hand and Bear and Thia's life is in danger. The more dangerous the situation, the more protective Bear becomes. There's a fairly big age difference between them which makes Bear hesitant to take things to a sexual relationship. Eventually, they can't help themselves and you can see their feelings deepen.

T. M. Frazier has a remarkable talent for taking me out of my comfort zone (willingly) and making me enjoy (maybe not the right word) subjects I would normally avoid. This series is awesome and I can't wait for the next instalment.

I'd given the ring to the little girl as a fucking joke. A way to placate her, make her feel good for not calling the fucking law. I never expected her to show up.

A ring that had mean't everything to her growing up and nothing to him the moment he'd placed it in my hand.

Ive loved you since I first saw you when I was just a kid and I will love you until I'm a hundred years old and even afrer they bury me in the ground.

So awesome!

The cliffhanger ending is the best, and you don’t even mind that it is a cliffhanger, because by this point you already are so into the series that you plan to read them all.

This book is about Bear, the third in the trio of friends from childhood. King and Preppy met in school at age 11 and were best friends from that day forward when King rescued Preppy from a bully. Bear meets the two of them at age 14 when he gets in a all out brawl with King that just won’t end until they piss off Prep by getting dirt on him and he jumps in. They all end up laughing and are friends from that day forward.

At the start of this book Bear is wrecked, after failing to save Preppy from a bullet when on of his own MC brothers betrays them, he later is betrayed a second time at King’s house when Eli and his crew finds them and tortures him brutally leaving him with nightmares reliving the experience. Then he finally is given the ultimatum to help King or stay with his MC and since King has been more family to him than his father and brothers in the MC, he drops his Cut and leaves. But now the MC wants him dead and he doesn’t know who he is without the MC.

Thia is an 11 year old girl that Bear gave his ring and a promise to help anytime she needed him. She is now 18 and in a bad situation so she goes to the MC looking for Bear. Instead she gets the wrath of his father and is delivered to King bloody and battered as a sign to Bear. Bear remembers Thia and starts to feel for her, but they each have problems to overcome and the story gets complex and like I said, it ends very spectacularly!

3.5 stars!

I always have a hard time writing 3 or 3.5 star reviews. I mean, how exactly do you explain to people that yes, you liked the book and you enjoyed it but...yeah. You know what I mean, right?

Anyway, I did really like Thia and Bear's story for the most part. In fact, a word of caution before you start this book: Do not start reading Lawless when you have an early appointment the next day. Trust me on this. I started this thinking I'll just read a few chapters before I go to bed. Welp! I ended up pulling an all-nighter because I could not put this book down.

Lawless follows the events of the previous books. We've already met Bear. We know what happened to him and how the events in the King & Tyrant affected him greatly. Lawless goes a little bit deeper into Bear's back story. It's revealed in the prologue that during his time with the club, Bear met a young girl, Thia. She was someone that Bear made a careless promise to, not knowing that that promise would have a far reaching effect on his life and the life of that girl.

If you've read King and Tyrant, you know that TM Frazier doesn't pull any punches when depicting sex and violence in her books. Lawless had plenty of those and then some. It was a full on throttle, action packed, rollercoaster ride.

Thia, like Doe before her has had a heartbreaking life. Her life was marred by tragedy. She clung to a promise not knowing that it would lead to even more tragedy for her. I really felt for Thia but some of her decisions defy common sense. Granted that she was in a stressful situation and anybody who went through the same thing would probably act like she acted. But she never reached that place of realization or that place where she stopped and really started to think and plan. Instead both her and Bear made one rash decision after another, which made it really hard for me to sympathize or feel sorry for them.

Overall, this was good read. The story had a lot of potential, and I can definitely say that it's unputdownable. But it didn't quite get to where I was expecting it to go. There were moments when I thought it would reach the epic scale but then the characters would do something inexplicable and the story would just dive into mediocre territory once again.

Nevertheless, the positive things I feel for this book still outweighed the negatives. I'm looking forward to see the next book to see where TM Frazier takes Bear and Thia's story.

For those who don't know already Lawless was supposed to be a stand-alone but it's not. There's going to be a second book named Soulless and if the date I saw was correct it will be out on February 23.
While I thought I was ok with it at first, I'm not so sure now. I know I don't have the choice but still it bugged me a little.
Lawless is well detailed, it was obvious to me that to set up and explain Bear story it would take time. Include Thia story and it gets even more complicated. So I'm glad the author didn't rushed their story it wouldn't feel right to have an HEA now. But when I see books such as The Girl's got secrets or any of Linda kage's books (it's the only name I have in mind), I'm a little upset.
Lawless is a book I read in a matter of 6 hours so it's short and to me I don't mind to have a longer book to read, spend many hours and have a full story.

description

That being said, I enjoyed the ride. If you don't know Bear already, read King and Tyrant first. You will have a better grasp who the guy is and what he has to go through.

description

Ever since he appears in King the man captured my attention. He was a biker, he was caring, he was protective, he was thoughtful, he was loyal. And what happened to him just broke my heart.

Hearing his story wasn't even a question, it was a need.
And that's how Lawless begins. Bear is the shadow of himself. He has pushed every person away, he is alone and lost. He's numb and most importantly he doesn't want any help. He goes in life like a ghost, it was heart-breaking.

description

When he meets Thia for the first time he never imagined she would come to him one day with a promise he never intends to fulfil.

Thia, bewteen 17 and 18 years old was a complete surprise. T.M seems to loves her heroine to be young but full of repartee. Thia was a though character and she sees right past Bear's suffering.

description

description

Their attraction might be instant but Bear is not ready to face any of that. He has to come a long way before even thinking about giving his love. Thia is very understanding, she gets him pretty well and she wants to be there for him.

description

As much as I love Bear, he needs to want to be better for himself and not wait for someone to help him. I didn't see this enough in Lawless. I hope for his sake he will get there. He's the main participant in his own happiness.

I wanted to add two small things that added to my enjoyment, King and Ray takes a large part and it was impeccable.

“We were two tortured souls. Both in more ways than one person should ever have to experience.
But we found each other.
We needed each other.”

It feels like I've been excited and waiting for this book for months now and I have to say once I got over my reading funk and sat my ass down, I really rather enjoyed this little gem. I wouldn't have expected anything less from Ms. Frazier. Bear was deliciously messed up and rather difficult to love at times. Thia was a fantastic counterpart for him. Vulnerable, but with the strength of a hundred men. Really a match made in heaven.

It took a while before their love story and romantic connection developed, but I can't really complain about that. We always get annoyed with insta-love and this time around it took longer and it's still not right?! I really feel sorry for authors, there is just no way to do it right and please everyone. *wink wink* I really enjoyed the way this story was constructed. Both Bear and Thia have a complicated backstory and the way it was all woven together, as well as integrating all the beloved characters from the series was really well done.

Of course, this wouldn't be a Frazier book without some mind numbing twists. The ending I have to confess I kind of saw coming, but the teaser for Soulless threw me for a loop. Is it spring 2016, yet?

That is pretty much all I have to say. A fast pace read, sexy, heartbreaking and a little shocking. Good stuff!!

Re-read note: I'm just saying- I STILL wanna wear Bear's ring :-p

Bear's got quite the shit storm brewing. When he chose King over his mc, he signed his death warrant. Now a girl who he once made a promise to comes back into his life and she's got a heap of problems of her own. The girl is all grown up and hits all of Bear's buttons. The tale was woven in a way that gets and keeps you attention. The plot feels very busy with quite a lot of major events one after another. I admired Thia's gumption. Strong flawed heroines are one of the favorite leads :) I hate what she goes through. I was expecting a little more of Bear dealing with the root of his problems but the story doesn't go too deep into it. Like with King, Bear's possessiveness, loyalty, and drive are sexy as hell. I enjoyed this read quite thoroughly. Safety: Bear tries to push Thia away with OW. Though he does some stuff, they don't have sex. Thia gets kissed by OM but it is unwanted. Bear doesn't share. He's either gonna break the wrist or take the life of anyone who touches his Thia. No condoms. Thia was a V. There is rape and abuse. There is pushing away.

The funny thing is that I don't (didn't maybe?) even like bikers or tattoos or bikers with tattoos. Not my type.
But somehow this series so far has found a way in my heart and now I want to read more stories about motorcycles and tattoo guys with beard and skull rings. I am sure there are many books about them.
Anyway, let's focus on this book:
It starts with a ring, a promise and with 11 years old innocent Thia looking in the eyes of Bear and her future.
7 years after, Thia is in hell. She holds the skull ring like an anchor and she tries to find Bear to collect the promise. But Thia finds out there are worst things that the hell she is currently in. There is a scene with Bear's father I honestly did not want to read, but I read it anyway.
And Bear's spirit seem to be dead, until he realises he has a reason to live and keep going.
Thia is HIS to protect, to fuck, to kill fuckers who threaten her and to hold her for ever and ever.

If you are a fan of this series you know Bear, if you haven’t read Tyrant and King I highly recommend you do. If you do will learn that Bear is King’s best friend and is no longer a member of the Beach Bastards Motorcycle Club. Now that he is no longer a member of the club he doesn’t really know what to do or where he belongs, he is lost.

What we didn’t know, but learned in Lawless is that when Bear was in his early twenties he met a young girl in a gas station and while their meeting was just a fleeting moment for him, she never forgot him. Now seventeen about to turn eighteen Thia finds herself in trouble and immediately turns to Bear.

The help and refugee Thia is seeking isn’t received when she shows up to the Motorcycle Club. In order to send a message to Bear she is beaten and raped, before she is taken to King. Chop, the president of the MC, knows Thia will bring Bear out of hiding.

Bear isn’t romantic or a hearts and flowers kind of guy, he is gruff and difficult. When he sees Thia again he isn’t even sure he can trust her, not knowing if she is part of a trap. He is immediately attracted to her, but that isn’t what Thia needs. Right now Thia needs someone to rescue her.

Thia is completely broken when she sees Bear again. Her brokenness is more than physical, she is mentally exhausted and beat down from life. She has absolutely no one in the world, but she is resilient and I admired her strength.

Bear and Thia together isn’t easy, but I was immediately cheering for them. I wanted so desperately for Bear to have the happiness and family he deserves. To have someone he could trust explicitly. Thia deserves to have someone be on her side and look out for her best interest above anything else, for someone to finally put her first. I love the moments these two shared and while at times I wanted to scream I was still absolutely in love with their genuine and realistic connection.

I have yet to read a book by Tracey that didn’t absolutely blow my mind and leave me in awe. This one left me in shock and freaking dying for more. As soon as I finished I left a string of curse words for my bestie. This story will leave you breathless and have your heart racing. I cannot wait for more! Highly, highly recommend!

After pretty much binge-reading King and Tyrant, I was pretty anxious to see what TM Frazier would do with Bear's story. He was always around in King and Tyrant- sometimes in the shadows and sometimes graphic front-row center in the horrific drama that took place. That being said, Lawless shouldn't be read as a standalone as you need the background of all the characters to fully grasp and move forward in this story.

Bear is a shell of a man, living on drugs, Jack Daniels, and local whores. After the events in Tyrant, Bear disappears off the radar. Knowing that the motorcycle club, the Beach Bastards (run by his father), is out to kill him, he lives day by day in a crappy hotel completely shut-off from everyone including his closest friend, King. Nobody removes their Beach Bastard cut and lives...BB or death.

Bear met Thia (short for Cynthia) 7 years ago when she was just a ten-year old kid watching over a party store. They had a pact that if she ever needed him, he'd return a favor. He'd never thought the day would come this snarky kid would need him- it was a joke more than anything- but one day the call came in and Bear jumps into action to save this girl.

”This ring? It’s a promise. In my club, when we give this to someone it represents a promise.”
“A promise for what?” I asked, starring down at the ring, amazed, as if it were hovering mid-air.
“A favor, whatever you need, It means I owe you.”

I'm not going to go a whole lot further into their history and this whole favor thing but let's just say Bear wasn't immediately so nice to Thia. She took their pact seriously- like a kid that age would- and he smelled a rat. Could she be trusted? Is this a ploy to draw him out so his father and the MC club can put him in the ground?

Here's the thing- everything Bear did and said was pretty true to his brooding character considering the shell of a man he was after the awful "Eli events." Did I like him much? Not really. In fact, he had the tendency to be a real d*ck to Thia at times but I had to reel myself in and realize he wasn't going to be some Casanova after all the events that took place in Tyrant. Shoot, he wasn't a Casanova before then either! That being said, Thia is now an adult and I was also kind of taken back by how much she counted on a perfect stranger she met seven years ago (when she was a child) and took him for his word...his promised favor he'd return. So with all that, I had a bit of a hard time grasping their connection for a fair amount of the book. They were strangers and she expected a heck of a lot out of Bear. He wouldn't even answer a phone for King or Doe yet "Bear to the rescue" for a girl I'm amazed he remembered. But she kept his ring...

In time, my connection to their gradual love story grew. Thia seemed to get a bit more independent and not want to take help where it appeared help wasn't available. Tables turned and the progression of Bear and Thia the couple captured me. They were both lost in this world and they grabbed onto each other like a life raft. I finally got it...

We were two tortured souls…But we found each other. We needed each other.”

Lawless has a fair amount of King and Ray in it which I found myself grasping onto those scenes whenever possible. I loved seeing the progression of their love story, yet even with his newfound family unit, King never thought twice but to support Bear in any way possible- usually outside the law. And King''s brooding jealousy where Bear was concerned- that was epic. Again, the author stuck to his true character.

"Holy shit, you let your bitch tat you?" I asked, reaching up for the gauze.

"Fuck off. You call her a bitch again and I'm drowning you in the fucking bay,"

Preppy- Ah...what can I say? Any dialogue from him was always a highlight for me in the book. We got too little time with him is all I can say.

Lawless was an all-around enjoyable read for me- full of suspense. Did I like it as much as King and Tyrant? No. But I am curious where the author will take us in the next book...

Finally Bear has arrived!!!! And like a powerful hurricane he comes sweeping through all my feelings, creating a true emotional knock out. You better be ready for T.M Frazier to once again take a hold of your heart and leave you begging for more...

 photo a54d403c-7233-423b-83ad-7e8f35da2076_zpsssgwo2q4.png

Thia was eleven when her life changed forever, after she met a sexy and dangerous looking biker, who made her a promise she never forgot.

Years later, now Thia is about to turn eighteen. She doesn't have a typical life as any other girl her age. She works hard at her family's orange farm and at a little Stop-N-Go store to support her family, a family that hasn't been the same since her little brother died.

One day she comes home from work to find that tragedy has found her yet again, and when her world is crumbling down the only person she can think of is Bear.

Bear has been through a lot; he's lost his patch, one of his best friend's and ultimately, his way. He's deep into the dark when he gets the call telling him about a girl he can barely remember making a promise to, years ago. When he makes it back to his hometown and sees the beautiful woman, with pink hair, all bruised and broken, and holding on to the ring he gave her all those years ago as if her life depended on it, he can't help but feel a strong sense of purpose.

Both Bear and Thia carry burdens, also big trouble is following them but inside all the chaos, they found each other once again. And just like the first time they met, their connection is the only real thing that can help them find their way. When they are together the feelings get out of control, taking hold of their hearts and leaving them both helpless against the passion and the love that is between them.

Thia is only eighteen but she's definitely an old soul. Someone who has been through a lot and has had to learn to grow a thick skin in order to survive. She's always known she belongs to Bear, this love she's always felt for him defines her. She's very clear about who he is. Nothing about their connection is rainbows and flowers but she loves and accepts him for exactly the lawless man he is.

Bear has a hard time dealing with the beauty Thia brings into his life. She's the only thing that matters in his dark world right now. King and Ray are also there to help him but Bear's past is coming back to haunt him and the men who once represented his family are now looking for him to end his life.

T.M Frazier once again delivers a gripping story that will keep you entertained until the end. This dark tale delivers a beautiful and flawed love story that ended with one crazy cliffhanger. So I'll be biting my nails while waiting for the next book...

5 Two Tortured Souls ★'s

“Love. It was the only kind of torture I wasn’t familiar with. I was quickly learning it was the most painful kind of them all.”

My ♥Thia & Bear♥

“What are you trying to do?” I asked.
He raised up, just enough to look me in the eye. “I’m trying to love you.”

“It wasn't romantic. It wasn't flowery. But it also wasn't lies. It was just us.”

This was seriously abso-freakin-lutely perfect! Somehow these books keep getting better and better and no matter how many times I read them I get completely sucked into all the crazy mayhem that I have come to expect from a T.M. Frazier books. She is so brilliant and I could read her books 100+times and never get tired of them. I don't know how she does it... such masterpieces! Every. Last. One.

Warning: *This book contains graphic violence, sex, drug use, abuse, bad language and adult subject matter.*

“I was already going to hell. Might as well enjoy the ride there.”

~Reread~
I must admit, I have had the hugest crush on Bear ever since King. Bear is my most favorite Alpha in the King Series and this book has carved a very special place for him in my heart! I loved being inside the minds of Bear and Thia. They are my favorite couple (other than Jake and Abby of course). Anyways, this is NOT your typical love story. It's dark and gritty, violent and beautifully raw. It's heart-poundingly intense, action-packed, fast passed and it's hella steamy 😍😘😉!!!

This was impossible to put down, it's just so gripping and I'm always at the edge of my seat. I can't get enough of these broken characters and the roller coaster of emotions it takes me down. It has... All. The. FEELS!! I love the way Frazier tells each story, the writing is some of the best and the worldbuilding is ever expanding and the characters... Well, the characters are all outstanding.

“I’ve been a ruined man for a long time. I can’t ruin you too.”

Bear just has this way about him, he drew me into his web before I even knew what was happening. And here I am, I have fallen bad for this BADASS biker but that's not really a surprise lol I have ALWAYS had a thing for bikers. They are so HOT, don't judge me. Bear is BEAUTIFUL!! Then you have Thia, I love her so much! She is strong and defiant, brave and true, and she doesn't take Bears shit that's for sure. Thia is a little badass in a little package. She is full of life and has a childlike excitement about her that totally knocks bear to his knees. The chemistry between the two is undeniable.

“You came into my life when I had nothing left” … “You’ve been everything to me.”

Truly this was another spectacular read and OMFG that damn ending! Nooo, Why do you do such torturous things to us? Whyyy? (😭😠) If you haven't had the pleasure of reading Lawless or King or hell any book by this author... DO IT NOW!!! Seriously what are you waiting for??

*Btw, the SEXY BEAST of a man on the cover is Josh Mario John 😍😍😍 (siiigh)*

“I’m done leaving you alone.” Bear tangled his hands in the back of my hair and tugged my lips down onto his. “I want you. Still fucking want you, more than I’ve ever wanted anything.”

“I’m not stopping at kissing. I’m not stopping until your mine in every fucking way.”

“We were two tortured souls. Both in more ways than one person should ever have to experience.
But we found each other.”

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Type: Book 3 of 4 from King series
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

After splitting from Beach Bastards MC, Bear became a lost soul, drowning his reality in alcohol and drug. Knowing his numbers could be up at any moment, he lived his life without a purpose until someone from the past changed his direction.

Thia Andrews was just a kid when a promised was made to her. Years later when trouble found her, she came forward to lay that claim. It never occurred to her than the help she looked for might actually bring more trouble than she could handle.

Bear broke my heart in the last book and I was really looking forward to his book and glad it didn’t disappoint.

"When I'm with you it's like you put me up on this fucking unreachable pedestal. I don't deserve that kind of admiration and sometimes, it scares the fucking shit out of me."

Being a biker, loyalty was ingrained in him, but Bear knew who his true brothers were and he was punished for his choice. What I love the most about him was even though he suffered, he wasn’t selfish enough to rope in other people into his problems.

I don’t usually love a female character but I did love Thia. She was very young and took responsibilities when the adults around her failed to do so. She had a tinge of badassery and a whole lot of innocence – which not something that would normally appeal to me but it worked with her.

"Fuck, Ti, you may not have pulled the fucking trigger, but I got a feeling you're going to kill me yet."

I like how the story developed and I especially love how Thia and Bear first met. It was so sweet and innocent, and a great set up to what’s going to happen in their future. I also love how the club business and the romance/friendship interwoven and worked both for and against their issues.

However, with that said, I felt disappointed with the lack of emotion in this one. I couldn’t feel much for Bear. Considering what he been through, I wanted to feel his pain, but I felt more for Thia than for him. It made me feel less connected to him.

The ending was a bit predictable to me, but with a promise of new player, and the events that happened in this book, I am highly anticipating the conclusion of Bear and Thia story in the next book.

Book 3 in the the King series, Lawless brings us the story of Bear and Thia.

Bear is a very much loved character that we met in King & Tyrant. Best friend to King and Preppy, he is the son of club President Chop, and part of the Beach Bastards Motorcycle Club. The club life is all he's ever known, but his two best friends have always caused a conflict due to the fact that they refused to be patched in, causing a rift between him and his old man.

Seventeen year old Thia's world comes tumbling down one day out of the blue, she has no family to rely on or friends to turn to, so she goes to the one person she knows who can help. A man she hasn't seen in seven years who vowed he would do anything she needed him to do if she ever found herself in trouble.

Bear is suffering in a mountain of depression; drugs, booze and women are his way of numbing the pain. Banished from his club, he doesn't know where he fits into this world any more, that's until his father sends him a girl that he hasn't thought about in years, bloodied and bruised and in need of his help.

I loved Bear's story, he knows what love is because of his two best friends and now a part of King and Ray's family, he see's how great it can be. He's just never really felt it and so when he meets Thia and she depends on him and trusts him so unconditionally, he knows he has found something special.

"Love. It was the only kind of torture I was familiar with.
I was quickly learning it was the most painful kind of them all."

This book had me gripped, the plot will have you on the edge of your seat and gagging for the next book Soulless: Lawless Part 2, for us to get the answers to all the many questions that we are left with.

I would have preferred more relationship development between Bear and Thia, it all happened so quickly, but I did enjoy their chemistry nonetheless.

Also, I wasn't as excited about the ending, due to the numerous spoilers on my newsfeed regarding the way it would make me feel. I spent the whole book waiting for the big moment at the end, and I do think that hampered my enjoyment a little bit.

This series is absolutely fantastic though, it's gritty and exciting and well worth the read, especially for biker fans, and fans of dark romance an alpha males.

This is the third book in the series, told in dual POV.
